Damn. That wass a pretty dirty hit. Horton should know better than to be standing there watching his pass, but Rome should definitely know better than to throw a cheap hit like that in the playoffs. You can't afford to give up a 5 minute penalty, and make them work down a man. I know Rome wasn't trying to take the head, but he should have known better than that. Bad play by both sides. And what a hell of a game. I didn't expect Vancouver to get stomped like that...jesus...

Need to look at the replay at full speed, not when slowed down. You will notice that the hit comes just over a full second later.

Apparently a late hit is anything past a half of a second. Not to mention I'm pretty sure Rome's Elbow comes pretty close to Horton's head. It's not under rule 48 as a blindside hit, but it could still be a headshot and deserving of a suspension.

Rome got suspended for 4 fucking games, that's total fucking bullshit. Not that we need him to win the Cup, but still.

I would rather have burrows get suspended for what he did than Rome
