Boston's combined margin of victory in 3 wins: 14 Vancouver's combined margin of victory in 3 wins: 3
My logic is this, people consistently say how much better the Canucks are than the Bruins - So explain this to me, why does Vancouver get embarrased (lol, 8-1) every away game, but when they're at home, it's a close game? Two of the three games Vancouver won were 1-0, and the other 3-1, I think it was.
Vancouver is a better team. Hence why we have the best pk/pp in the league along with winning presidents trophy. So because Luongo plays like shit in Boston means they're better? In case you haven't been watching the games, the Canucks have been beating the bruins in shots, they just can't beat Thomas's, Hasek-like flailing antics. We fanned on how many open nets last night? and hit the post twice. If we buried all of our opportunities instead of fanning or hitting the post, the game would have been in favor of the Canucks. We're not losing this Wednesday, and you can bank on that.
But the Sharks beat the Nucks in shots, are they the better team?
Boston's combined margin of victory in 3 wins: 14 Vancouver's combined margin of victory in 3 wins: 3
For fuck's sake Neufie, it's a fact. How can you disagree? Look the damn numbers up yourself.

The Canucks just lack the ability to score. Even if you credit the Bruins goals entirely to Luongo just playing badly, it doesn't change the fact that the Canucks can't score. Even in their 3 wins, they've been 1 goal games. When the Caucks win, they barely squeak by. When the Bruins win, it's a blowout.
Well, in any case, we will find out who the better team is on Wednesday.
I can honestly see Boston taking it tomorrow, i'm just getting that vibe. Of course i'd rather see Vancouver win, but it really doesn't matter. I mean 3/4s of both teams are Canadian anyways v:v:v

Who ever is at home is going to win. That's been the trend for this entire series, and it'll probably continue tomorrow. I had to reschedule a date with a girl I've had my eye on for over a year because I forgot Wednesday was game 7 :v:

I just know Boston isn't the better team. We have way better offensive lines, every line is good, we aren't just a one line team. Not that Boston is a one line team, either though. This series has been based on Goaltending, for the most part Canucks have been dominating the play, whether it be time of possession or shots on net. Luongo plays like shit in Boston and Thomas is solid both in Boston and Vancouver so he's stronger mentally. Although, Luongo is the better Goaltender at home considering his 2 shutouts. It doesn't even matter about that anyways, it comes down to Game 7 tomorrow, and I know for a fact the Canucks are going to win, without a shadow of a doubt. If they lose, then you can call me out on it, and I'll admit I was wrong. But until then, Canucks are better. After all, history is going to be made when the Canucks finally get to hoist the Cup and drink the Champagne from it.
You Canucks fans need to learn about humbleness, there's nothing wrong with being confident in your team's abilities but sitting here guaranteeing wins is the best way to jinx your team. You'll never understand until you've been through what I went through in the 2002 World Series with the Giants. Humble is the way to be.

I may be over confident, but that's just the way I was made, I believe in the Canucks, they're not going to let us down for a third time in history, we can do it! [editline]14th June 2011[/editline]
Vancouver may have the best defence, the best pp/pk and the best overall offence, but if the Goalie is shit, it doesn't matter if they're a better team.
Luongo isn't shit though, when he's on his game, he's the best goalie in the NHL, no one can stop him. He's just really inconsistent and he needs to work on that, that's what the difference is between him and Thomas. Thomas is consistent, Luongo isn't.. Both of them on their game, Luongo is the better goalie.
I've been waiting 17 years to see the Canucks finally hoist the Cup, and now that our chance has finally come... IM SO EXCITED, AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT.
oh shut the fuck up boston waited a hundred and something years for a world series, 17 isn't anything to shit yourself over. not to mention we've been waiting longer, it's our turn this year, you can have it next year [editline]14th June 2011[/editline] talk about being overconfident, how about billy buckner?

In the end it only matters how many games they win. By iJeax's logic, I could say I'm a great goaltender and I should be in the NHL except I'm just never "on my game".
Fuck baseball, I could care less about that shit. Hockey obviously doesn't mean shit to you, or not near as much as it means to me, 17 years is like a century to me when it comes to something like this. You're going to be sorely mistaken when the Canucks kick the Bruins ass and send those bumble-bee colored bitches packing. We've never won the cup, you have, sorry bro, it's our turn, not yours. Call it what you will, Canucks deserve it a lot more than the bruins, we played 82 games to get home ice advantage and tomorrow it's going to pay off, sorry. [editline]14th June 2011[/editline] Man I'm going to love to come back here tomorrow and shove it in all the haters faces when the Canucks win, it's going to be sweet sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet victory. You wouldn't be in the NHL if you were never on your game. That argument is invalid.

They've both won 3 games and lost 3. From that standpoint, they are equal, even though they have different approaches and one has let in more goals than the other. And also you're making yourself out to be a gigantic douche.
I'm not meaning to be a douche, I've just never lived to see the Canucks in the Stanley Cup finals and I've been waiting all my life for this moment, I'm a huge mother fucking Hockey fan as you can tell, so if I seem to come off as a douche then I'm sorry.

It's okay. I haven't been a hockey fan or a Bruins fan for very long, but I've just never been one for being 100% sure that anything is going to happen, especially in competitive ventures.
Tbh I'm not 100% what's going to happen, I just say I do because I believe in the Canucks that much. I can't see them breaking everyones hearts yet again. Also, Boston has won the Cup, it really does seem like the Canucks year to win it, being the 40th anniversary and all. [editline]14th June 2011[/editline] Tomorrow when all is said and done and the dust has settled, we'll all be friends again, until then.. I hate you all. Kidding! But really, it's gonna be a nerve wracking game, I'll be downtown so hopefully there won't be a riot..
I feel bad for these teams. Flying Vancouver to Boston round trip twice in less than 2 weeks is absurd.
I feel bad for Amur. :v: The nearest team is more than 3000km away At least they fixed the divisions after 2009, so they weren't in the same division as Dinamo Riga. (6600 km away)
I'm a big hockey fan, but I have been pretty split on who I want to win the Cup this year. But now I'm hoping that Boston will win because I really want to see iJeax complain.
oh fuck guys we're a bad team we're gonna lose the cup oh fuck oh fuck i better call lord stanley and demand a refund canucks fans are stupid as shit on youtube

Sorry bro. And FFStudios you get fans like that on any Hockey team lol.

Yeah guess what, he shattered his fucking vertebrae and was sent to the hospital immediately. No penalty call on that, yet they called it on the Horton hit, which Boston fans boo'ed because they wanted more than a 5 minute major. Classless as fuck All teams have shitty fans. We just have more because we only have one active team in this area which is a hockey team, so it's quite obvious you will get dumb/bandwagon/fairweather fans. Not saying our fanbase doesn't have some degree of classlessness, though.
Lol yeah and now you rate me dumb, yer 2 k3wl 4 sch00l brah.
he shattered his fucking vertebrae
fractured* and they were both bad hits, horton suffered a severe concussion.

K now this is getting ridiculous. If it was vice versa, the exact same crowd reaction would happen.
