It'd be awesome if the Canadiens could pull off what they did last year. It seems possible, too, considering Boston was the favourite for the series, but Montreal won 2-0 in Boston. It's just a game, but they seem to be doing pretty well.
They sort of got their shit together when it was too late, if they start off the next season like they ended this one they may have a shot.
That and letting their first round picks in 2010 and 2011 go for Phil Kessel was probably the dumbest move in history. He's good but not worth 2 top 5 picks.
Meh, not really a fan of NHL anyway.
Have Detroit played any other matches besides Phoenix?
7pm, that's when we get our shit together claude probably ripped some fucking heads off in the locker room
Go Wings :D
Watched the Anaheim game, glad to see that Selanne can still play and that well! Still Canadiens all the way!
i hope he ripped chara's head off
holy fucking shit i'm crying laughing
OP you got the score wrong. TB beat PIT 5-1
Thanks for letting me know, I updated it while I was under the influence haha.
Montreal is tearing Boston to shreds. I wouldn't be surprised if Montreal won the series in a shutout at this rate.
I hope either Vancouver or Montreal win the cup this year. I'd just like to see a Canadian team win it for once.
Definitely will happen. Montreal is looking pretty strong and Vancouver is just phenominal even compared to the defending stanley cup champions. If we can get Chicago out of the way and blow them back to the stone age then the only real threat could be Detroit as they're a solid experienced team.
i redact everything i've said previously habs in 4 fuck boston at this point

Montreal is doing terrific. I think a replay of last year's playoffs is entirely possible.
Price is just focused so hard
Fantastic game between the Sabres, and Flyers. It's funny though... The Sabres acted pretty un-organized compared too their normal playing style. Possible, "going easy" ?
Whatsup with the Sharks losing 4-0 to LA? Brutal.
Woo! How bout' them Nucks'!
Wooohoo! 3-0 Series lead! Sweep! Sweep! I'm already singing "nananana, nananana, hey hey hey, goodbye!" in my head.
That Predators - Ducks game was definitely a nail biter.
Hell, so was the Canucks, Hawks game.
Go Bolts!
Hell, so was the Canucks, Hawks game.
The refs were out to get us, that was fucking terrible 4 penalties in the first period, and 3 of them were absolute bullshit
Absolutely 110% Agreed. We still won though! SWEEP TIME!
The refs were out to get us, that was fucking terrible 4 penalties in the first period, and 3 of them were absolute bullshit
Just like, "No Goal" in 99'... It was a goal... We were the champions... :smith:
I feel like the only Coyotes fan in this thread and I hope they win their home game against the Red Wings tomorrow.
I feel like the only Coyotes fan in this thread and I hope they win their home game against the Red Wings tomorrow.
If not my native home team (Buffalo), I'm rooting for the Coyotes for the fact I live in Tucson.
The refs were out to get us, that was fucking terrible 4 penalties in the first period, and 3 of them were absolute bullshit
Those penalties were absolute bullshit and I agree but that was nothing compared to the rest of the game. Here's why, - There were about 5-6 penalties on the Blackhawks that should have been called throughout the second and third and weren't. Most of them were hooking/holding/interference type that would have been called on the Canucks in a heartbeat which is why it pisses me off so much - I observed one hit near the penalty box that was definitely charging/interference because I saw the jump so his skates must have lifted off the ice and the puck wasn't even near there...no call - There was 2 icing calls against us that shouldn't have been called as there was 1 icing that should have been called on the Hawks too but wasn't - The Torres hit hardly even makes up for even 1/4 of all that shit and I'm glad he only got a 2 minute penalty - The fans are just retarded for booing because they ignored the terrible reffing in favor of their own team. I don't even think our fans do that as bad. Even I call out bad reffing when I see it in our favor I can probably count some other trival things but with having a huge disadvantage we still pulled it off which I'm really not surprised. Even when all odds are against us we can still somehow win. I don't think much can stop the Canucks now from going all the way. This game has foreshadowed what's to come next.
