well, there are riots in montreal whether the canadiens win or lose, so vancouver is pretty tame in comparison :v:
but that doesn't mean I'\m going to go light a car on fire out front of a Canada Post building.
Who cares, their on strike anyways.
The Vancouver fans are fucking pissed to the point they need riot police shooting tear gas at them. They should really grow the fuck up. I was disappointed that the Canadian team didn't win, but that doesn't mean I'\m going to go light a car on fire out front of a Canada Post building.
It's not all the Vancouver fans, it's just the ones who bought $200 dollar jerseys and got Canucks tattoos. The vast majority of us aren't doing anything but saying "Fucking Luongo"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1994_Stanley_Cup_riot All over again.
There are no reports of violence. That's the key difference.
We lost in game 7 in 1994 and 2011, third times the charm, we'll get the cup someday.
The news isn't on here. Does anyone have a link to a stream?
There are no reports of violence. That's the key difference.
Late as fuck on that. We're watching bloodied people getting walked away with the offenders in handcuffs. Did you miss the part about how they've already started trying to rob banks?
I'm going to go play some MagicTG now. It was a good series. We shall obtain it soon enough.
Oh man, the Riots are so entertaining. I would give an arm and a leg to be down there with the VPD beating up those dumbasses.
On topic, we deserved to lose. We did not play as aggressively as we should have.

Meh, I was going off a CBC report from 20 minutes ago. The bloodied people doesn't mean full on violence though, I saw plenty of fist fights between meathead douches on Granville on Saturday.
Now they're throwing flowerpots off roofs at people on the street.
Come the fuck on, just stop.
Someone stabbed a Bruins fan in the neck. It's a fucking game people, calm the fuck down.

More live coverage. This is disgraceful, this is not how you lose gracefully.

Not fucking cool. These kinds of people are the reasons the "Canadians are all nice people" stereotype is not as recognized as it used to be. Grow the fuck up people.

Judging from the picture, I don't think he'll make it. He looks awfully pale.

I actually don't see a lot of blood anywhere around him, so I think that's a good thing too.
Jesus, anyone seeing this cunt arguing and shit? He just threw a fucking woman to the concrete floor.

Does anyone know when the riot police are allowed firing rubber rounds?
Oh wow, some guy's dancing like an idiot on a police car.
He's a really bad dancer,too.
My pal made it out o.k though, so I'm relieved.
Is anyone friends with a "Vancouver Canucks" on Steam because he's an absolute meathead. Someone posted the link to that Bruins fan stabbed pic and this was his response:
"Boston would have done the same, if hypothetically speaking, Vancouver won in a baseball, basketball, or a hockey championship. One Boston fan would attack a Vancouver fan abroad."

I doubt it will come to that. It seems to be breaking up... I guess. But if so, it will probably take a rush by the crowd or something, you know, only when the VPD feels that it's Officers are in danger.

They should be using live ammo.
Edit: Not serious obviously.
But seriously these people act like they are in a war-torn 3rd world country it's disgusting.

I also don't see much blood, but his lack of color and facial expression concerns me.
Some guy decided to try and stomp on the police car, and some other Vancouver fan pulled him off, at least there is some people helping out over there.
I wish they would let us Seaforths go out there and bash some rioters, but I guess the VPD can handle it. Damn.
Oh fuck,police cars on fire.
