Got my package from Varusteleka. It had the Bundeswehr LBE, but the ham cock? Nope. Two bags of Jerkku instead. What the fuck.
Mine is still sitting in customs or something? USPS has tracking on it but it still says they haven't received it, while Posti says it's "on its way to the destination country". My fish cock won't be fresh by the time it gets to my mouth  Firearms XV: Cock Problems
I'm selling my Beretta M9 soon, get a CZ52; Y or N? Also what would be a good price if I find one available? I don't wanna get ripped off.
I'm selling my Beretta M9 soon, get a CZ52; Y or N? Also what would be a good price if I find one available? I don't wanna get ripped off.
I wouldnt.
CZ-52s are cool guns but I wouldn't sell an M9 for one. :v: That's like trading a Lincoln for a Trabant.
CZ-52s are cool guns but I wouldn't sell an M9 for one. :v: That's like trading a Lincoln for a Trabant.
The Trabant is still the better car.
My point is, like the Trabant, the CZ-52 has charm and history, but I wouldn't trade a nice duty pistol for it.
I'd trade a Beretta for one, but they're less common here and I don't really feel anything for the Beretta. I'd never trade my Sig for anything though.
I'd trade an M9 for any current CZ, but not a 52.
My point is, like the Trabant, the CZ-52 has charm and history, but I wouldn't trade a nice duty pistol for it.
I mean it has history in the sense that its old, the pistols didn't really do anything but sit in holsters until they were replaced. You can find a Tokarev for the same price or cheaper than a Cz52 in most cases anyway. If you have something better than the M9, then do it. But don't trade your only decent pistol for something archaic and outdated like a Cz52.

I already have a USP 9mm, no need for two 9mm handguns unless I get a smaller gun to CC. I suppose I'll look into a TT-33 even though I think it's ugly and looks uncomfortable to hold. I really would like a sub $300 gun that shoots 7.62x25, I've had a minor obsession with that cartridge for quite a while.

Modular rail systems were evaluated for repeatability, endurance, rough handling, drop testing, and static failure load. Where possible, handguards manufactured in different modular rail systems, but otherwise identical, were used as a basis for a comparative analysis. All tested modular rail systems showed to be adequate for securing accessories during cyclic loading through endurance and rough handling testing. However, distinct performance differences were observed from repeatability, drop test, and failure load analysis. Overall, test and evaluation demonstrated that the M-LOK modular rail system surpassed the performance results achieved by other modular rail systems. In repeatability testing, M-LOK allowed for the repeated installation of the same accessory rail in the same location on a handguard with an average point of aim (POA) shift of 1.3 MOA, as low as one quarter the average POA shift observed by other modular rail systems. Drop test results demonstrated that M-LOK systems maintain securement of accessories to the handguard and sustain less damage from impact forces than some other modular rail systems. Failure load testing demonstrated that M-LOK systems support the highest load of all modular rail systems tested. In fact, the test equipment used to interface with 1913 accessory rails secured with the respective modular rail system across testing repeatedly failed prior to failure of the M-LOK attachment system. Even so, testing of the M-LOK systems failed at loads as high as over three times the maximum failure load of some other modular rail systems. NSWC Crane recommended to USSOCOM that the M-LOK modular rail system be utilized over the alternative systems tested. USSOCOM has chosen to incorporate the M-LOK modular rail system in acquisition efforts including the Suppressed Upper Receiver Group (SURG) and Advanced Sniper Rifle (ASR).
http://soldiersystems.net/2017/03/31/ussocom-selects-m-lok-for-weapon-programs/ tl;dr MLOK is sturdier and shifts less than other modular rail systems i.e. keymod according to these tests conducted by SOCOM
Still non open source trash

No charge. Gotta hand it to them.
My tracking still hasn't updated. :( Did you have tracking on yours through the US? I'm kind of wondering if it just isn't getting scanned.
My tracking still hasn't updated. :( Did you have tracking on yours through the US? I'm kind of wondering if it just isn't getting scanned.
I honestly didn't care enough to keep track of it, as long as it showed up in a reasonable amount of time.
So I've been looking into affordable 50 cal's and I'm thinking about ordering an RN-50. Thoughts?
So I've been looking into affordable 50 cal's and I'm thinking about ordering an RN-50. Thoughts?
You're going to have to pick one or the other. [editline]31st March 2017[/editline] "Affordable" or ".50 cal"
The RN-50 is a $1200 break-action 50bmg. Affordable I guess. Not worth the money in my opinion but I guess if you want a big bore rifle go for it. I'd rather have a DSA FAL for the money. I know a guy who supposedly bought an M82 at an estate sale for $1500, although I suspect he probably bought it used for 8-9k in cash and the estate sale thing is something he spun to keep his wife from killing him & tells it to the rest of us to cover his ass.
Got the slide stop in today, put it on, pistol is fixed. It's very noticeably newer and better finished than the rest of the gun though.
So I've been looking into affordable 50 cal's and I'm thinking about ordering an RN-50. Thoughts?
Are you buying it to shoot long distance or just make loud noises? Either way its not really worth it for the amount of money youll spend on the gun, optics, and ammo. Buy a gold ball launcher or something
Since I haven't seen it posted here, Hornady and Vortex teamed up for a rather amusing April Fool's joke. And for something that's not an April Fool's joke, the latest Chinese monstrosity to make its way into Canada: Yes, that's an M14 in 7.62x39, and while I'm not 100% positive I'm pretty sure it takes AK mags.
I kinda like the way it looks with that type of mag (Don't kill me, please!)
Banana mags on the M14 platform make me hard
cleaned up the O/U [t]http://i.imgur.com/tSDbYjw.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/CShY9Jj.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/pVu8xnW.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/LzEsXnj.jpg[/t] still needs a few areas cleaned up a tad, still need to get this carbon shit out around some of the engraving...

I hope they sell it in the US at some point just to shit all over Ruger.
what do you guys pay for the HK416 steel mags stateside? paid 16 bucks for a great condition one today would have gotten two but my buddy picked up the other one sadly
Above $50 a piece. Since Pmags and the Brownells mags are so cheap over here, very few people have a reason to run the HK mags unless they are die hard HK fans.
I didn't think it was even worth reloading in the US with your low ammo prices except for oddball calibres.
It is for most competitive shooters who shoot thousands of rounds a month; especially for those who like having the least amount of energy possible to activate the reloading process for smoother shots. For most people who shoot a box or two every six months out of one gun, not really.
Leave it to the Chinese to make a mini30 that makes sense. I hope they sell it in the US at some point just to shit all over Ruger.
Just one problem with that, the Chinese can't import guns to the US.
Just one problem with that, the Chinese can't import guns to the US.
Remember that we have an orange peel in office who will sign literally anything pro-gun at this point. If some non-NRA funded republican proposes the removal of the import bans, then Trump will sign it happily.
