Why not battle rifu SBR?
what muzzle brake is that? Debate time: Do I want to build an SBR upper for my AR, or do I want to buy some form of battle rifu.
ALG Single Chamber Muzzle Brake. Wonderful muzzle flash with a short barrel. If you have a rifle lower and also a pistol lower you can own any upper without trouble.
looks like the ATF took down Efile. So how would one go about filing for an SBR? Also aparently the whole "trust" system has been modified.
Basically you gotta get the paperwork and get yourself finger printed and all that bullshit, then mail it in with a check. It's almost more worth it just to wait for Efile to come back up.
Okay guys, I have a minimal budget here but I need to get a handgun. I have about a 200-300 dollar limit, and I've narrowed it down to the Ruger LCP/Keltec P3AT, S&W SDVE, or possibly a revolver. Any advice? I know the smith and wesson is a solid gun, heavily leaning towards it.

Something magical happened at the range today, somehow someone there got authorization to bring prohibited rifles. There was an AUG, a FAL, and a Mac-10, as well as some ARs that were so raced out the guys shooting them shot so fast it sounded like full-auto, no bumpfire. My 1911-380 was okay at first, but after 100 rounds it started giving me issues again. Probably means it needs more grease. I also found out my Sig's .22 kit doesn't like Winchester ammo. Sighted the broken Russian scope on my Chinese AR I need to sell, was hitting about where I wanted at 100, so I took it to 200. Peppered the shit out of an 8.5"x11" sheet of paper, which is all I could really ask for out of that setup, I'm happy. This weekend will be revolver only pretty much, because the registration certificate should show up in the mail this week.

What's wrong with the Smith?
Smith has gone down the shitter IMO. Far from the god tier I hold their 90's semis.
Anyone have any experience with ARs that have polymer lowers? Thinking of getting one of these ATI ARs: https://www.classicfirearms.com/ati-omni-ar-15-hybrid-maxx-rifle-5-56-optic-ready Either that, or one of these bear creek ARs: https://www.classicfirearms.com/ar-15-for-sale-m4-flat-top-bear-creek-ar15 I'd build one, but it seems like I can find them as cheap prebuilt as I could get one if I built it once I factor in shipping, fees, etc.
I'd trust a poly lower with .22 or pistol calibers, but I don't have enough faith in them for full size rifle rounds.
I'd trust a poly lower with .22 or pistol calibers, but I don't have enough faith in them for full size rifle rounds.
Most pistol calibres have the same recoil impulse as a .223. I wouldn't use either.
There is apparently a German gunsmith building full-auto toggle-locked submachine guns based on new-made Lugers that he builds himself.

The gun was too light for me and it just felt weird. At the time I had mine many of the polymer lowers were experiencing issues and breaking/cracking. I had a Bushmaster carbonlite AR15, never again.
How about none of those. Don't buy a revolver for anything other than a range toy. Look into a used CZ or buy a Canik.
canik's are really nice guns I got a TP9v2 it's a hell of a gun for the 325$ I paid for it (and really my thoughts on it wouldn't change even if it were 500+)
I'm playing hell finding a good CC pistol since I hate plastic and can't stand compacts, either. :v: I want a slim, full steel and wood pistol. Most of the good ones are antiques. I wanted one of the new-made SIG P210s, but they aren't selling in large numbers here in the States from what I've read.
I think im going to buy a PPK because I want to feel like james bond and get a suppressor for it too. Maybe i will even sleep with it under my pillow.
I liked the PPK I shot even though I don't really care for compacts, but I don't know if I'd carry a .380 or a .32.
What's wrong with the Smith?
Its garbage with an awful trigger. Why buy a shitty American made striker fired when you can buy a glock.
I think im going to buy a PPK because I want to feel like james bond and get a suppressor for it too. Maybe i will even sleep with it under my pillow.
Get the 32 version if you can. The 380 PPK is a handful despite being a full steel gun firing a round weaker than 9x19. Or just because it's cheaper and can take a suppressor from right out of the box, buy their cheap 22 version.
what muzzle brake is that? Debate time: Do I want to build an SBR upper for my AR, or do I want to buy some form of battle rifu.
I vote Battle Rifle. I love the idea of 7.62 NATO M16s and AR-10s. imo the rifle should have remained .308 instead of downsizing to 5.56. My next build will likely be a .308 rifle designed to be used to hunt with, honestly. I've been trying to decide if I liked the P07, the 97, or the P09 the most. The 07 and 09 feel very similar to a lot of full sized Sigs mixed with a high power, while the 75 and 97 really feel much closer to the high power. If you're looking towards compacts, the 2075 RAMI fits more closely to the Sig P210s and will feel similar, while still having a High Power influence in the controls. Obviously I'm looking for more full-sized since I'm a big dude, but depending on your size, the CZ full sizes might work and feel good to you. I know MAC carries the sp-01 IIRC.

Wait, was it Code or was it you Psycho that I had the debate over how stupid grip safeties are and how they ruin the 1911 because you miiiight hold the gun in a weird way to squeeze off a shot with it not turning off?
Could you get one of those surplus Israeli LEO hi-powers? I've always wanted to nab one, myself

I only handled a 1911 once when someone in a class let me feel it up. They're fine weapons.

I could care less about the grip safety, I've never had any problems with it.

It's a great gun, but magazines all run into the same problem eventually. With my luck, it'd happen at the worst time. Right now it comes to work with me in my bag because I work in a bad area and I figure it's better than nothing, but I'm not gonna stop there. re: triple-feed - I once had the magazine spew three rounds at once. This resulted in the slide jamming open with one live round in the chamber, one live round jammed in the ejection port, and one stuck halfway through exiting the magazine, nose to ass against the chambered round.
Just got my No4 barrel in the mail. Now I need to convince the technical services guys at uni to let me use their lathe and cut it down.
