-wtf wrong fucking thread how did it take me so long-
This nondescript-looking ammo caught my eye at the local store yesterday. I couldn't help myself. :v:

I know I'm not going to get match results with it, but the simple fact that it's boat-tailed should put it a step above the service-grade crap. My next range trip is going to be interesting.

That is what I used to break in my XCR. Decent stuff.

What's the MOA with your barrel?
I noticed that even with decent quality AKs. Getting in the price range of higher quality ARs.
Agreed, screw paying $2500 for a Krebs or Rifle Dynamics AK, even the Galil ACE is $1800 +
imagine paying $2500 for an AKM.
What's the MOA with your barrel?
1 MOA. Some report sub MOA, but I've never used match grade ammo.
1 MOA. Some report sub MOA, but I've never used match grade ammo.
What's the twist/length?
1 MOA. Some report sub MOA, but I've never used match grade ammo.
If you don't want to spend $20 on match grade, buy some of the PPU "match grade" ammo. It's usually just a heavier bullet and its roughly $10-$12 a box. Shoots great in my budget Eagle Arms Ar15.
I'm really tempted to go buy a PS90 right now.
Someone talk me out of it, since I literally can leave and have one or 3 in an hour.

Do it...
Buy two and send me one

Do it and SBR the thing.
Buy 3 and send them all to me
So what are your guy's thoughts on patronizing stores/businesses that are anti-2A? Or places that won't allow CC even though it's not a business which serves alcohol?
I tend to get pretty political with my wallet but I generally don't do much with that unless its blantant shitflinging. It's a really tense topic.
I don't actively avoid them but I've found that openly anti-2A businesses are very often incredibly dour and unfriendly places
Honestly I don't really care. I still shop at whole foods. They can't legally tell me no plus concealed means concealed.

1:9 and 16"

I know what you mean. Money has the strongest vote for businesses and I keep it that way.
I generally just ignore the fact and continue about my day. I don't get very political generally with a business. They have the right to tell me not to carry and to refuse service to those carrying. Same way with same-sex. They have the right to turn them down. I just think they're morons for trying.

Federal Xm193F is actually the first can of 5.56 I put through my rifle while dialing it in. I definitely didn't get 1 MOA accuracy, but I wasn't going for 1 MOA. I was going for general combat effectiveness on a generic torso target at 50. But it does seem to be a little more consistent than general ball. I did seem to get smaller groups with it while bench shooting than with the second can of green tip I used.
Also, I think Federal has successfully become the only brand of 5.56 I put through my rifle. I've been picking up their 120 mini cans for $50 a lot, which is the best local value I've been able to find anywhere other than their 420 can for $200.

I honestly don't care. Just like it's my right to carry, it's their right to deny me sales or service. Not everybody is comfortable with firearms and thats alright.
Lazyness hit me on the P90 thing. Been trying to save up for a car too. But guns are so nice and so tempting.
Honestly, glocks are bae.
Honestly, glocks are bae.
Glocks are like the Mormon women of the gun world; plain, homely, boring, and completely devoid of fun, but you can have like 8 of them and nobody will look down on you for it.

It's because glock collections are fun af to do

Don't, there is no point to having a semi-auto version unless you like expensive, tacticool varminting.
I'd get one and just SBR it, not like I'd be running a 5.7 anything in FA even if I could. I'm not made of money.

Yeah, when I first bought my rifle, I got a 420 round can of M855 with it. It's all been shot, and I just keep reusing the clips and cardboard boxes to keep my supply of M193 organized and ready to load into magazines.
Oh, I also found a 1970's-vintage cloth bandoleer that my dad kept from his time in the reserves, so half of the cardboard boxes are packed into that. I should spring for another one, they're cheap and convenient.
Ooh. I'd actually love to get a bandolier. I typically just throw my mini cans in my bigger cans with strippers and head to the range with them in my backpack. A bandolier would be a lot nicer. I'm not the type of person to keep five different magazines pre-loaded. Generally just one that stays at home so I always have ammo at home in an emergency.
