Assembled my lower today: [t]http://i.imgur.com/8sDw8ZL.jpg[/t] And then tested my Chinese upper from my other gun on it, and it fit perfectly: [t]http://i.imgur.com/24SNQ6p.jpg[/t] I learned a lot. Like apparently the hammer has a J-spring in it and that spring was so high it was interfering with putting the retaining pin through the hammer. It took 10 minutes of hammering, injuring my fingers, and fucking round with a screwdriver to finally get it in. The trigger is like 8 pounds or something too, it's a really heavy trigger. I can't imagine I'm going to keep it in this gun for very long. Also apparently the trigger can't be installed with a safety already installed.
The trigger can be installed with the safety in, it's just more difficult. Making sure it's on "fire" make it a bit easier, though having it out completely turns it into a cake walk.

Rented a full auto MP5, it was tight. Put 150 rounds through her.
Rented a full auto MP5, it was tight. Put 150 rounds through her.
Yeah, they're a blast!
Rented a full auto MP5, it was tight. Put 150 rounds through her.
MP5's are some of the most fun Full Auto's you can shoot. Thompsons are a hell of a lot of fun too, I like them more than shooting a UMP .45. I really want to see how a Vector handles though. On a follow up with that SPIW magazine, Ian will be writing about it in his blog and it's scheduled to be published Oct. 20th.
Henry rifle: “It’s a rifle that you could load on Sunday and shoot all week long.” Brazilian Winchester: load it up on sunday and spend the rest of the week chambering rounds with your pinkie finger because they somehow keep getting stuck on the edge of the chamber, pushing stuck rounds out of the mag with a screwdriver, holding it at 45 degrees so that it doesn't stovepipe, stovepiping anyways, and EJECTING FRESH CARTRIDGES BECAUSE YOU DARED TO CYCLE FAST. Brazil QC is a meme :/ At least it can shoot, sometimes
We told you. We told you not to buy it, we told you to return it when you got it.
Brazilian firearms: not even once.
Interesting question. Out of a Pistol that fires an electrical arc, Plasma Pistol and a Gauss Pistol. What would you choose?
Interesting question. Out of a Pistol that fires an electrical arc, Plasma Pistol and a Gauss Pistol. What would you choose?
arc weapons are stupid and would never work plasma weapons are pretty much super-hot flamethrowers with stupid-high energy requirements gauss weapons are basically normal weapons with, again, stupid-high energy requirements if I have to choose, give me the gauss pistol. Less chance of electrocuting or burning myself.
how bad of an idea is it to buy a jericho 941 over a cz75/tanfoglio? i want a cheap-o 9mm when i can and i really like the jericho but idk about spare parts and if it's just plain better to get a cz75 they sell used for about 600-750 usd
Id get the CZ. The Jericho is cool but depending on the cz model, id get a cz over a jericho
Bought a case and a few upgrades for the AR I got last week. Just placed the order for a B5 Sopmod stock.
Seems like there's a big gun show on the 15th, a day after I get paid. Should be fun.
Who had the UK 59 kit? Atlantic has semi UK 59s http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-oversize-rifles/marcolmar-firearms-uk-vz-59-detail.html?Itemid=0
Trunk and he's pissed
Interesting question. Out of a Pistol that fires an electrical arc, Plasma Pistol and a Gauss Pistol. What would you choose?
Gauss. Directed energy is weak and inefficient, ballistics are the real O.G.
Directed energy will work if the beam angle is wide and you go for the eyes.
Directed energy will work if the beam angle is wide and you go for the eyes.
What if your opponent's eyewear is designed to protect against blinding flashes of light, he's just facing the other way, or has no eyes at all? (we're talking sci-fi, dude could be a robot, or some echo-locating ayylmao) A thin beam, pulsed a couple hundred times per second, will actually poke holes through stuff and flash-boil organic tissue. But that doesn't change lasers' ridiculous inefficiency, especially inside an atmosphere. You're better off using all that battery power to accelerate bits of metal.
Trying to get my Jungle Carbine barrel off. All I've managed to achieve so far is breaking my vice. Little bit peeved off by it as its been in my family since before I was born.
Trunk and he's pissed
I imagine he would be really pissed off. Probably gonna buy one if I can get it on layaway
how bad of an idea is it to buy a jericho 941 over a cz75/tanfoglio? i want a cheap-o 9mm when i can and i really like the jericho but idk about spare parts and if it's just plain better to get a cz75 they sell used for about 600-750 usd
I'd go with the CZ. I've shot Jericho's, tanfoglios, sarzilmaz, and a few other cz clones and nothing shoots quite as well as the original for me. That and CZ has aftermarket out the wazoo, although I don't know how much of that is available to you where you live. There's a reason why they're big in IPSC.
TFB has an article with pics of the CZ Shadow 2 in competition in Sweden. Link: http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/09/30/potd-cz-shadow-2-action/ Basically looks like a CZ P09 Urban Grey with the steel frame of a Shadow:
Well, I've discovered that m-lok t-nuts fucking suck. Pain in the ass to install, and they mar the handguard. I like the wide nuts that came with the scout mount far better. Anybody know where I can get similar nuts?
That's why you get some of these bad boys: https://kineticdg.com/product-category/kinect/ They're great for accessories that you may need to move on a regular basis or if you need to quickly move them to another platform. I love mine.
Like I said though, the nuts that came with the MOE Scout light mount work just fine. They spread the load out enough that it doesn't mar the plastic, and they're easier to tighten. I don't know why they're not standard. If I could get two extra sets of those, I'd be a happy man. [editline]2nd October 2016[/editline] These are what I'm talking about: [t]http://images.shopmadeinchina.com/p/B51E027338B9E1ACE040007F01004D1B/128/8052128_2/2pcs-PTS-Magpul-MOE-Scout-Mount-For-MOE-handguard.bak.jpg[/t]
Because Keymod is all the rage with 0perators and Magpul wanted to get in on some of that sweet proprietary fad money. [editline]2nd October 2016[/editline] That's how Magpul's MOE stuff used to attach, now they do M-lok as well and most shops only sell that nowadays for the same reason. Good luck just getting picattiny mount accessories in most shops nowadays.

Anybody know if this is a good range toy to get? http://www.ioinc.us/akm247c.html I've never had an ak and just want it to have one my LGS has one for 550$
All US made, doesn't seem like chromed barrel? I'm going to go with a no but someone more educated than me may step in.
