About a hundred bucks cheaper per thousand for non-corrosive. IIRC it was like $250/1000 for 7.62x39 from Ukraine, and $360/1000 for Barnaul .223. Nobody imports Norinco ammo anymore for some reason, all that's left for it is .308 and 7.62x39, and that's from the importer digging it up in their warehouse and going "Oh, guess I can sell this now."
The cheapest steel cased .223 and 7.62x39 in the US are all sitting around 23-25 cpr per 1K, all non corrosive wolf or tula.
Sorry I've been away guys. So, what's everyone panic hoarding before the election?
Trump/Pence stickers before they're outlawed.

So, what's everyone panic hoarding before the election?
aero precision M5E1 upper and lower trying to decide between a 20 or 24" build also toying with the idea of pre-ordering a rebel silencers SOS-Hunter that way I could throw it on either the new rifle my .300Blk "pistol" or the 10 FCP-SR
I'm moving so I really should hold off on panic buying guns since I need like furniture and shit. A bed would be nice. Kind of starting from complete scratch.

They also ship it right to you so you dont have to deal with any mattress store bullshit.

I don't do foam mattresses, they're an absolute bore to have sex on and they never seem to be the right kind of firm for me.
I think I need a new mattress. This one already sent me to the hospital with chest pain once, and I think the last time I didn't feel tired in the morning was when I went on vacation to Berlin in 2013.

Financing on a matress, lmao
Financing on a matress, lmao
When youre broke as dicks after a move, comes in handy.
GatPunch XV: Muh Mattress! But no, really, I thought a general spring mattress was all anyone really needs until I got gifted my mom's old Temperpedic and my God I will never go back. It's as expensive as a water softener, but those are two things I am so glad to have in my house.
I really wanted to buy a wasr before the election, assuming they were still $500. Oh boy what a disappointment
my spring matress is older than i am. Its physically caved in in the middle, and i find that it fits the curve of my body perfectly. Ive slept in beds that cost more than my car, but i still prefer my matress. Maybe im just lucky. Coincedentally the 4" foam matress in my 70s camper sleeps me just fine as well.
I'm on a giant inflatable mattress....

Who needs mattresses when you sleep in the woods in your milsurp sleeping bag
Who needs mattresses when you sleep in the woods in your milsurp sleeping bag
A medkit makes the best pillow.
The nice thing about a memory foam mattress is that you wont be able to feel all the guns you lost in a boating accident sandwiched between the mattress and boxspring. Cant get that with a beat up old spring mattress
Is there such a thing as good ankle holster?
A medkit makes the best pillow.
I use either my camelbak or my laundry bag when I'm staying overnight with the Guard.
I'm sure we all remember the stories of the facepunch user who removed the stripe of green paint from a luger that shows it was a relic brought back. I was trying to tell the story to my coworkers, and they're unfamiliar with the practice, does anyone know which firearms were marked, and why?

I thought the story was from 4chan.
It was for marking war trophies that troops would bring back from the war. I thought the story was from 4chan.
I remember him also posting here. In an attempt to google "war trophy green stripe" in a few different ways I couldn't find anything. Would you know anything more about it?
IIRC the guy was Danish and it was his Grandfathers. The green square signified it was a bring back from WWII. He scrubbed the mark off trying to get to the SN on the barrel, but he used a file or something and cut some pretty deep gouges into it. As far as the practice of the marking goes though, its a Danish practice from 70 years ago so you probably wont find any literature on it in English.

Well, it beats what happened to the K98 bayonet one of my great-uncles brought back from North Africa. He used it as a gardening tool for a few decades. :v:
Is there such a thing as good ankle holster?
I use a desantis ankle holster everyday at work. No complaints.
Well, my PTR is at the store as of yesterday. They closed after I got of work though, and I'm working 8-830 today, so it looks like I'll be waiting until Saturday to pick it up. On the bright side, that means I'll have time to get a decent case for it.
Filed some applications two weeks ago today for buying two guns, and I expected to get an e-mail about "YOU FORGOT FORM XYZ AND DOCUMENT ABC" before getting an approved license in the mail. Got some mail today from the police and was surprised by the fast response. Turns out it was the license for the PPKS I bought 4 months ago...
