God damn I hope Blumenthal doesn't get reelected in CT today. Get that bastard out of there.
Hey, who was it that was selling wood patches in here a while ago? I need a birthday present for a friend.

That's me. Hit me up, I can make whatever you want. Site posted above ^

So I checked the bolt gap on my PTR, it's at .020". The manual that came with the rifle says it should be between .010" and .018". What do?

It will shrink a little from use. You have a serious problem if it opens up or rapidly closes up after a few hundred rounds. Mine is at .019" for being new.
So I may be buying a mount to attach a shotgun to the underside of my AR.
Gotcha. Here I was thinking I'd have to get a new set of rollers.
If you want confirmation, check out the HKPro forums. They got you covered on all things HK and clones.
Rule #1 in dealing with ARs: There is no such thing as "cheap".
Oh I'm fully aware lol *glares at 2 5.56 AR's and 2 .300blk AR's* the original plan for the rifle was to go for a cheapish (think 1400$-1600$ minus glass) intermediate-long range .308 build however I decided to go for 6.5 creedmoor and then basically said fuck it and went for broke (currently sitting at 2150$ without glass or a stock/BCG/charging handle/grip/bipod)
So much for selling my AR for twice its value. FUCK.
Well I guess it's still a good time to get that EVO.
Maybe trump will push to repeal NFA or something useful like that. I doubt it but we better get something out of this.
Wow. Hell of a night. The mother-of-all gun grabbers defeated, SCOTUS that has some respect for the 2nd all but guaranteed, possibility for import bans to be lifted (optimistic), possible NFA restrictions lifted (very optimistic). I'm glad our rights are semi-secured and possibly strengthened at the end of the day. Hard to look at this too positively, but that's the one angle I can look at it from. Very glad I voted, regardless.
The potential of an across-the-board pro-gun government is the only silver lining of this for me. Every other implication is pretty frightening.
The potential of an across-the-board pro-gun government is the only silver lining of this for me. It's also hilarious seeing people on /k/ lament on how much they spend on guns expecting Hillary to win and now they've wiped out thousands of dollars of value.
Yeah, I'm glad I was too broke to panic buy. :v: [editline]9th November 2016[/editline]
The potential of an across-the-board pro-gun government is the only silver lining of this for me. But, I can take a little solace in knowing my rights are not going to be infringed... probably, at least. Who knows, at this point?
Maybe this is an opportunity for pro-gun groups to push for the idea that various minorities should be pro gun to defend from tyranny.
I think other, more important rights are at risk. And I'm staunchly pro-2A.
I think other, more important rights are at risk. And I'm staunchly pro-2A.
And that is why they should suggest at risk minority groups should arm up.
Finally no more fears for my gun rights
I think other, more important rights are at risk. And I'm staunchly pro-2A.
Not really. Trump isn't fully backed by either party. He can't just do insane shit because he's POTUS, bills and laws still gotta go through the house and senate and all that jazz.

But I am very happy overall with how things turned out.
Things have never looked better for the second amendment in living memory. Sucks for ya'll in California for now though. Not that it didn't to begin with.
Yeah this is the first time in a long time our 2nd admendment rights WONT be trampled on
Just remember, we still lost gun rights when a Republican(Regan) was in office and Bush was willing to sign off on renewing the Assault Weapons ban from the 90's if it ever passed congress. Stay on your toes.
What's a good firearm to keep in a glove compartment in case of emergencies. [editline]9th November 2016[/editline] I'm thinking a flock but I like having a safety

[editline]9th November 2016[/editline] I'm thinking a flock but I like having a safety
FNX 9 if you cannot live without a safety and have some cash to spend. Go with a Ruger SR9E if cash is tighter. Otherwise there are other options. A Glock is still a solid choice, then there's SIG, XD, and the M&P line. Century Arms import high quality yet cheap handguns from Turkey that are clones of the CZ75, Walther P99, and SIG. Ruger is always a safe bet for value even if they compete with Glock for ugliest gun award.
Why not my beretta 950 :vs: Seriously appreciate the suggestions though, will look into it
