Can you buy 62gr that isn't M855? I can't seem to find it.
Wolf makes 62gr that isn't M855: http://www.sgammo.com/product/223-556mm-ammo/1000-rounds-223-rem-62-grain-fmj-wolf-wpa-steel-case-ammo-made-barnaul
You guys made me curious. I think my rifle's actually a 1:8, but I don't remember.
Can you buy 62gr that isn't M855? I can't seem to find it.
http://www.luckygunner.com/223-rem-62-gr-fmjbt-fiocchi-50-rounds Fiocchi makes some good shit.
should be aware that fiocchi has had a lot of recalls with certain 9mm and .223 lots, not only certain loads either. for some reason they boast about having very secure and controlled production lines but they have made a ton of rounds with dead primers, no powder, too much powder, too little powder, wet powder, bad powder.. there was a heap of people getting destroyed handguns in norway a while back because of that. i have experienced a couple of weak loads in .223 as well. i notice mac is shilling "fio-shi" hard but tbh the only good thing about fiocchi is the price and since they went up lately i don't buy them anymore.
Well shit, where am I supposed to get non-M855 62gr then? I refuse to allow Tulammo in my house :v:
Well shit, where am I supposed to get non-M855 62gr then? I refuse to allow Tulammo in my house :v:
Wolf isn't Tulammo.
Wolf isn't Tulammo.
From Wikipedia:
The ammunition is mostly manufactured by Tulskiy Patronniy Zavod (Tula Cartridge Plant) in Tula, Tula District, Russia.
Might not be the same plant, but it's Russian and steel-cased. No way in hell is that crap going in my rifle.
So quick question, what's a good rifle that takes STANAG mags that isn't an AR? I managed to acquire 7 magazines: 5 USGI that my old roommate tried to throw away before he got deployed and 2 PMags from one of my coworkers. [t]http://i.imgur.com/8p0J26o.jpg[/t] THE USGI mags look okay except for 2 which have sketchy-ass bent floor plates: [t]http://i.imgur.com/zLqpeHk.jpg[/t] On top of that, 4 of them have the crappy green follower while only 1 has the good tan one: [t]http://i.imgur.com/AvIlT4N.jpg[/t] PMags are PMags, no complaints about them.
If you guys are in he states and want to MAGA, help out by submitting some requests to get rid of NFA 34, GCA 68, FOPA 86, and many other unconstitutional actions taken against the 2nd Amendment.
FOPA is good overall, but the Hughes Amendment (which passed with a minority of the vote) is what closed the registry. The Bren makes me feel funny in my trousers.
Back from the gun show. Everyone wanted to buy my C96 (but nobody wanted to pay for it) and only one guy was interested in the sword. He had a great little WW1 period German 25 auto which he wanted to trade for it, but when I walked away for a drink he sold it to someone :downs:
From the tests that i did, 50gr worked better in my 1-8 barrel than 55 or 62, and tulammo worked just fine.
Yeah my 77gr ammo worked great today at the range. I think my next barrel will be a 1:9 twist.
From the tests that i did, 50gr worked better in my 1-8 barrel than 55 or 62, and tulammo worked just fine.
I got better results with 80 grain match ammo in my 1:8 barrel over the 69gr match ammo
On top of that, 4 of them have the crappy green follower while only 1 has the good tan one: [t]http://i.imgur.com/AvIlT4N.jpg[/t]
Those green followers work just fine, bro. Trust me, I've got ten of them, zero feed-failures. If you're looking for something besides an AR, be prepared to drop an entire month's paycheck on that fucker. The SCAR 16S is an option, though like I said, shit's expensive: EDIT: By the way, what state are you posted in? I have no clue how much you know about firearm laws, but just in case, be aware that a couple of states have completely banned personal possession of magazines over 10 rounds.
Went to a local gun show yesterday, got to handle a Galil ACE in .308; light weight for a .308 semi auto, but the action is smooth and it is ergonomic. I don't enjoy the folding stock mechanism, it's too stiff and difficult to use, and I much prefer push button folders. For some reason, no one ever copied the push button folding stock on chinese AKs which locks open and closed and IMHO is a superior design.
I got to shoot a C7 on full auto today, and a C9 machine gun. Today was a good day.
Welp, always wear your seat-belt if you can as the messenger. Jack ass cut us off at 40, we had our biggest truck today, fucker is 26,000lb's unloaded and we had about another 5,000lb~ of coin in the rear, guy slams his break, causing my driver to slam on his, threw me from the back of the truck all the way into the front, hit the AC unit with my elbow and got a concussion from impacting on the window, mother fucker doesn't even know he might have cost me my job let alone fucked my day. Think next time you're around a CIT truck, please. Doctor said I fucking flayed open my elbow, 3.5" wide 2" deep.

I need this in my life.
I completed my first IPSC match (level II) this weekend! I scored 64%, which I'm overall quite satisfied with, as that placed me better than a lot of shooters in the standard division, while I was only using production gear. In Denmark, there apparently are a lot fewer people shooting in the production division than standard, because people like expensive gear I guess.
stupid question, are you actually sitting/standing around in the back with no belt whatsoever? sounds like grounds to sue
Oh no we have belts, but most stops are too close together, that and good luck getting orders ready strapped in. That's why he might be costing me my job, corporate is probably going to hit me for not having my belt on.
To be honest it's not that bad, hurts like hell when I bump it but that's about it, itches like a mother fucker. I feel bad for my driver though because he's beating himself up over it, wasn't his fault but he still feels like shit.

The only thing that is a 1 and fired is DUIs. I work with a guy who got into an accident with fatalaties that wasnt at all his fault. He lost points for it but didnt get fired. Like I said, I dont know your companys policy but I would think you should be fine.
Who do you work for? I don't think we have a point system at garda, but I'm not sure, our branch is small as hell, we only have 9 employees total and four trucks :v Awkward as fuck too, we don't have coin processing so we have Brinks process it, and it's the same brinks branch I worked at.

But I work in ND and get sent all over the US, so I put on about 50k+ miles a year, so my company is a real stickler when it comes to driving violations. If I get a ticket I lose points, if I get a fine for littering out of my truck I lose points, if toss a cigarette out of my truck and someone calls and reports it to my company, I lose points. Or when I broke my thumb when a deer hit my car when my hand was out the window, I lost points for driving and points for an injury.
Sold my Chinese AR to a guy in BC, now I just need to wait the 2-6 weeks for the RCMP to get around to approving the transfer and figure out how the hell to ship this.
I'm assuming it's a bad thing that my PTR's rollers are different sizes? I only noticed when I cleaned it Saturday night after shooting. :v:
