Gone an hour after you posted that :v:
Yea, WASRs are quite popular now.
I see so many WASRs on local listings for like a grand a pop. I regret selling the one i got off Classic firearms for $500.
Having installed some replacement parts last week, I took the Automag out yesterday and had no FTFs, no stovepipes, no problems at all. It seems that properly lubricating it and swapping out the recoil spring and extractor did the trick. I couldn't be happier with it. If only it weren't close to fifty cents a shot I'd be out shooting it every weekend, but I guess it's no worse than magnum handgun cartridges really.

My automag V doesnt like most .50 ae ammo I find official magnum research ammo works best.
For all you wannabe gunsmiths, here's a nearly complete 30-06 Winchester '95 action for $400: https://www.gunsamerica.com/966435847/winchester-1895-receiver.htm I love these rifles and man this would make a nice one. e: This guy's actually got a lot of really nice stuff.
I'd buy this in a fucking heartbeat if my wife wouldn't set me on fire for doing so.
When I get paid I'll probably be buying a piece or two from him. He's got some really cool guns for restoration basically dirt cheap. There's a Luger frame in there for $175. He had a mostly complete DWM Luger for $600 that's pending sale right now. I want that Savage so bad. Those guns are incredibly cool.
Id kill for a 54r lever gun. Too bad they all just kind of disappeared into European wars
and those links won't even work for me in europe :)) gunsamerica can go fuck themselves
It's GunsAmerica, not GunsNorway. What, you got a problem with America? You some kinda commie? That's why you can't view the site, euro trash Here- [t]http://i.imgur.com/4R0m0ta.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/myxRyT2.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/qNW6EyI.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/FmcjVPF.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/de7pAmA.jpg[/t] $400, $800, $100, $90, $125 in that order I absolutely adore those Savages and I've been lusting after one for literally ever. I might have to sell some shit.
I saw an incomplete 1895 in 7.62x54r going for $2000 at a shop sround here. It was missing some of the wood and mounting brackets, but all the mechanical bits were there.
and those links won't even work for me in europe :)) gunsamerica can go fuck themselves
what kind of network are you on? on my home computer, I can load all those gunsamerica.com pages (with NextGenTel) without issues
i'm on nextgentel too so idk what's wrong
You might just have a issue with your cookies. Try opening them in an incognito tab.
Doesn't load for me either, seems like GunsAmerica are cunts.
Again, GunsAmerica But also, how about using American proxy servers guys? sheesh...
Just bought my first handgun a couple of months ago, Beretta 92FS manufactured 2009, aftermarket Hogue grips. Love it to death and couldn't be happier! [t]http://i.imgur.com/BwpB3h1.jpg[/t]
I can get on Gunsamerica just fine from Canada.
I can get on Gunsamerica fine from Virginia. I doubt the California crew can, though, since freedom isn't permitted there.
Just picked up a crate of PMC 158gr .357 soft-point for $500 from a guy. Retail after taxes on it is nearly $700. Now I just wait for the gun to show up, supposedly it ships tomorrow. I hope it's here in time to go shooting on Labour Day.
I'm definitely setting my sights on a Savage Navy - that will be my next big firearm purchase. Time to start saving! If I get impatient I can always trade my C96 straight up for a nice shootable one, since the price curves are pretty similar and my C96 is on the upper end of value. I will probably sell my M95 first and see where that gets me.
I dunno, maybe it's because my collection isn't large yet, but I can't imagine selling any of my guns. Granted, they're all either pieces I inherited from family or milestone purchases for me, but I'm pretty attached to them for no reason. Even my K31, which I haven't shot yet (nor ordered ammo for :v:) Something like a C96? Too cool to get rid of. I'd keep it forever.
Trading the C96 is definitely a last resort. I don't want the Savage more than the C96 by any means, and I would hate for it to end up in the hands of the kind of collector who never shoots it or shows it off. I plan to personally see this gun through the next century of its life. Still I'm distinctly aware that it's among the most valuable antique firearms in general circulation (being a very early production/trial of the revised safety) and I could get pretty much anything on the market for it in a heartbeat. I can't rule out a good trade if it pops up, but I really don't want to do it.
Yeah. Something like an AR or something I could get rid of, probably. But, most of my guns have more sentimental value than anything. Or if I find out one of my guns is insanely valuable out of the blue, I guess. Someone offering 10k for my SKS would get their deal in a heartbeat, for instance. Hoping that happens sometime soon. Any takers? But, my SKS was my first gun. Learned the whole buying process and cleaning and everything else with it. Henry H1 was my first .22, and is a great gun to teach people who don't shoot the basics on. K31 was my first "nice" gun. I managed to find one with an almost immaculate walnut stock, which is very hard, considering how hard these rifles were beat on. My Winchester Model 70 and Ithaca 37 featherlight are both pieces I got from my grandpa when he started to loose his mind. One of the few gifts I have from him, so I don't think I will ever get rid of those. My mothers Raven Arms MP-25 is a total piece of dogshit that I couldn't get 40 bucks for if I tried. It's a fun story (Kept in a sock in the back of our spice cabinet since I was born, still smells like cayenne) My Makarov was my first handgun, and has helped me open many a bottle of beer. :v: My SigPro 2022 is probably the one I have the least attachment to, but is too good of a value-gun for me to get rid of for a decent price. It's my nightstand gun, anyway. No desire to get rid of it. They carry a lot of memories, and I've always been sentimental as hell about things, anyway. And all my milsurp just feels so damn right to hold, as silly as it sounds. Having my hands on something that old makes me feel like I'm doing my part to carry on a piece of history just a little bit farther on for the next kid who decides it's their turn, once I'm gone or the like. Realistically, my parents surprising me with a huge safe for my birthday was the best gun-gift I'll probably ever get, because of all that. :v:
My Model 60 was my first gun period. It was a gift. It's probably not going anywhere, even though I never shoot it because .22 is boring. My Mosin was also a gift. My first big-bore rifle. Probably not going anywhere; the sear is broken anyway so I couldn't sell it even if I wanted to. The first gun I ever bought with my own money is a real pretty double barrel with big external hammers made in 1906. That gun will never leave me. The C96 was my dream gun for a very long time. I had pretty much decided I'd never get to own one, then I casually put out a wanted ad on a whim and this was the only reply. I had the money so I bought it for just under a grand. That was my first ever large purchase, so the gun is sentimental in a number of ways and I don't want to get rid of it. I learned a lot about researching antiques in general through this gun as well. I have a bunch of other guns, many of which were inherited/gifted/bought for dirt cheap because I thought they were cool. A lot of the antiques had sat unwanted and neglected in the backs of gun stores for years despite being neat in their own ways and each one of them has a story to tell, so I couldn't help but want to rescue them. There's definitely a really positive sense of actually doing something any time you actively preserve an antique, be it a gun or anything else. Even if my name is forgotten in a thousand years hopefully many of the things I've preserved will still be around. In that way I like to think I've made my mark on the future. I don't really want to get rid of any of my guns. The only one I kinda sorta want to make someone else's problem is the M95. It's a handy-dandy little rifle and I absolutely adore it but jesus fucking christ is it expensive to shoot. If I can get a good price for it I'll sell it in a heartbeat and put that money toward the Savage.
The only guns I'm selling are my 1911-380 to my mom and my Chinese AR because I'm building a better one.
1911-380? That exists? Everday we stray further away from gods light and etc.
So I was hired as a cashier (for firearm rental, merchandise, lane rental) as one of the snazziest shooting ranges in AZ. Took my first formal pistol class, learned weaver stance was terribad, and a new method to grip the pistol that actually resulted in part of my back being sore the next day (from using weird muscles one doesn't normally use).
