EU commission want's more bans, sorry Eurofriends. - Civilian firearms of “AR 15 family”, also derivatives - Civilian firearms of “AK 47 family”, also derivatives - ALL detachable magazines above 10 rounds (also for handguns, repeating-firearms, rimfires etc.) - Strong regulation of magazines and semi-automatic firearms Article: http://firearms-united.com/2016/11/19/ar15-ak47-ban/ Actual Proposal: https://www.parlament.gv.at/PAKT/EU/XXV/EU/12/28/EU_122858/imfname_10671764.pdf [editline][/editline] srsly tho how can we stop this
My guess is that the best we can do is sign the protest petition (I did months ago) and try to get people to vote for EU parliamentary members with heads not full of shit (this might be an uphill struggle). I hope that the Baltic countries and most of central Europe will fight this hard. This will affect Europeans that shoot IPSC like me a lot, as we need those standard and extra capacity magazines.
i finally decided to buy a gun [t]http://i.imgur.com/OpvpB5d.jpg[/t]
Good first choice, assuming you can afford to feed it.
I should probably get an AK variant or an AR-15 before the blue flagged communists ban them for good
i finally decided to buy a gun [t]http://i.imgur.com/OpvpB5d.jpg[/t]
Willkommen, kamerad!
My new baby! I paid just 500DKK (71,5 USD) for it
I was asking about starter bows / getting into it, get linked to the $1000CAD + site That's not a starter setup :v:
With the way our dollar is right now that's not too surprising. Try looking at Wolf's Den and The Bow Shop.
Good first choice, assuming you can afford to feed it.
i'll be able to though here's hoping that prices goes down after the inauguration
I should probably get an AK variant or an AR-15 before the blue flagged communists ban them for good
Get an AK74. If Russia ever invades, you'll be able to use their ammo and magazines. :v: [editline]21st November 2016[/editline]
This is never going to pass lol, we're not giving up our national security because some clueless people in the European Parliament say that we must
Estonia: the only country in the world where not only is it legal to bury a full-auto AK-4 in your backyard and take classes on IED construction, it's encouraged by the government. :v:
Any recommendation on a budget 16" AR15 5.56 barrel? Looking for something ~$100-150
Proud new owner of an Remington 870, boy is this thing fun.
Check your chamber for burrs or roughness. Since the freedom group buyout, they have had shoddy QC.
Hey thanks for the headsup I definitely will.
Hey thanks for the headsup I definitely will.
If the gun ever gets wet bathe it in gun oil for the same reason, post-2007 Remingtons have rust problems.
Sooo..... I know this is gatpunch... but does anyone have any good left-handed hunting bow recommendations and any good crossbow recommendations for white tail? My dad recently bought a new house on about two acres of wooded land and is looking to get hunting access to the ten acre lot behind him next year possibly, and would be interested in a crossbow. I'd join him, but prefer shooting archery over crossbow.
If the gun ever gets wet bathe it in gun oil for the same reason, post-2007 Remingtons have rust problems.
Add the [del]Winchester[/del] Remington 1187 to that list along with a slew of o-ring issues and stiff actions. But after a warranty I could shovel a truckload of mud and beat down a tree and it would still shoot buttery smooth. [editline]21st November 2016[/editline]
Sooo..... So I was thinking of getting the my Toz54 cut down. It is 30 inch at the moment and I was thinking of getting it cut to 20-22inch. I bought it for $150AUD and don't really care much for it as it is a cheap soviet gun. The only thing I want to know is, is there any way to re-choke a shotgun? The Toz54 comes with Full/Mod choke built into the barrels and I fear 20inch with cylinder choke will be stupidly huge spread. So can you somehow re-choke them?
yup you can re-thread a shotgun for choke tubes might be slightly more difficult being that a toz-54 is a double barrel (doubles generally have thinner barrels to keep weight down) but a competent gunsmith should be able to do it without a problem

minimum OD for the 12Ga re-thread kits i'm familiar with is 0.845" any thinner and you run into the risk of A. punching through the barrel or B. Elmer fudding the gun. Exactly how thin are we talking here?
I have one my AR. No problems with it at all. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1v731dr9xtnlcn1/IMG_20161122_165534.jpg?dl=0
the spread will not be stupid big, I have an 18" barrel for my SXP with cylinder choke and it's not like it spreads all over a barn from twenty meters. Use tighter grouping ammo maybe.
Tighter grouping ammo? I've never seen a shot shell describe itself as tight grouping.
some shot shells come with wad designs designed to spread less.
Any chance you have a photo of such a wad?
Today I custom made a template for grip tape for my K100, and found a sample of the most ruthless grip tape to fit to it: This was the result after working it to fit the grip: After shooting this for a match I will have no fingerprints left on my right hand!
Any chance you have a photo of such a wad?
Federal has their Flight Control wad. [T]http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160512/dc0e6df70278b7a186e1c00a2ba2d827.jpg[/T] There may be others, I haven't had a need to go looking for any.
