I have to assume it is non-firing too, just bought it from a pretty much random house sale of a pawn store owner/hoarder. The guys didn't seem to know what they were doing and they said it doesn't work, but I just wanted to make sure. That's quite cool. I'll probably polish and clean it and have a nice display for it.
Make sure it actually is non firing, you dont want to have the SWAT and SAS pounce on you because you inadvertently bought a real pistol. Look up your countries laws for deactivated firearms and make sure that it meets them.
blackcloud has existed for at least 5 years
So only 10 more until Australia gets them.

I'll just take it to the local police station to make sure everything is kosher. Honestly I have no idea about the legality of anything, but for 10 pounds I just couldn't let the opportunity pass. [editline]24th November 2016[/editline] Whether it is real or not, I already feel attached to the damn thing. Maybe I am living in the wrong country.
Just ordered this: http://www.primaryarms.com/SPC-AR1-PA3XLERGENIV-BUNDLE Looks like my AR will finally have an optic.
Wow, sweet deal.
Shot about 50 rounds of full power .44 mag yesterday, to the point to where the gun started biting into the web of my hand. Took a nice little pea sized chunk of skin with it, but I still have no regrets Oh and my fiance fired it too, she did amazingly well. Her first time shooting any handgun more powerful than a .45ACP

Check the barrel. Most replicas are two halves soldered together. See if it's one piece and shine a light into it to see if it has rifling. The hammer should have two to three positions where it'll sit. In order: safety (won't move forward, cylinder locked), half-cock (cylinder spins free, for loading/unloading), and full-cock (will drop when trigger is pulled). The firing pin on SAAs is mounted directly to the hammer and passes through a channel in the rear of the frame that allows it to strike the primer of a cartridge in the uppermost chamber. Also, check for a serial number. I think on SAAs it's usually on the underside of the frame, in front of the trigger guard. To me it looks like a replica, maybe a blank firing pistol at best, with faux patina. If it winds up being a live firearm, I have no legal advice for you but I'll warn you that UK police probably won't just take it and let you go.

Never suffered the old hammer bite though. It's probably because I hold onto the thing with white knuckles.:v:

The barrel seems to be one piece, but it is definitely not rifled and it is blocked/stoppered midway. The ejector tube does appear to be fairly crudely soldered on. I only managed to find 2 positions for the hammer, half-cock and full-cock. The cylinder never seems to be locked. The patina seemed a bit too "good" to me too, but I'd like to try giving it a polish to see if it will change anything. It seems more and more like a replica, but even then since it is a realistic one I fear I might get into trouble here. I really wouldn't care about the 10 quid if they took it, but man it would hurt to lose even a fake gun.

If any of you guys are interested https://cpgarmor.com/product-category/helmets/high-cut/ https://cpgarmor.com/product-category/helmets/full-cut/ Fullcut and high cut are the same price, full cut Mich 2000 style, high cut 2001 style.
fucking hell my wallet hates you...............on another note if you guys have been looking for a CHEAP .22 look call your local walmart mine and apparently others are getting rid of mossberg 702's for 30$ (yes 30 dollars)

The cylinder basically needs to be milled completely through and can't accept any rounds or faux rounds, unless it was deactivated pre-95. But if thats an "imitation" toy or whatever, then owning it or selling it is 6 months in jail and a 5,000 pound fine. So honestly, taking it to the police station is probably a bad idea. You need to do a lot of research on your countries laws and find out if that thing is legal. Then you need to move to the US and get your citizenship so you can own real guns and have fun.

It sounds like it could be a deac, maybe intended as a movie prop or something? Any idea how much it weighs?

[editline]24th November 2016[/editline] I guess I could just google this, sorry.
Can anyone tell me if walmarts in Colorado sell guns? [editline]24th November 2016[/editline] I guess I could just google this, sorry.
They do, shotguns, bolt action rifles and some basic .22 (Mossberg, 10/22, etc) That depends on city, of course. The two in Aurora, don't have any, but the ones in Parker and Castle Rock do.
Yeah, looking up I see that. There's one near me in Arvada that does but it doesn't have any of the mossbergs. Don't think I can make it out to Parker or Castle Rock today.
I finally got around to ordering a new mainspring for my pietta. Got 2 spares for next time this shit happens.

Maybe just going in to ask about something I am thinking of purchasing is ok? In the end if I give it up, I can't see how being polite and completely honest about it would land me in trouble. If anything I'd be removing something from circulation.
It looks like a Denix replica
I really doubt it is in any way a real firearm. At most a prop/replica.
It 100% is, but in the UK you can get tossed in prison for owning a replica that looks too much like a real gun. Imagine getting arrested for owning a fake gun

But everyone needs a hobby, and firearms are a rich historical avenue. Hope it's ten quid well spent for you that brings you enjoyment as a collection piece. If so, that's all that matters in the long run is it's worth that ten pounds to you.
I just bought this, please tell me I didn't fuck up. Some people don't really like having a ton of wasted space and added weight of metal?
10" handguard on a 16" barrel is pretty gay tbh, would have gone with a 12" or even 15"
I've got my eye on a 12.37" one but I figure the 10 will still come in handy when I SBR it next year so it's not wasted money.
Sorry but I only get FOSS handguards.
Free Open Source. Just a joke since I was posting from Linux.
Actually mlok is free to license vs keymod is open source if you want to get technical
CZ finally made a striker fired pistol: https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2016/11/jeremy-s/cz-announces-p-10-c-striker-fired-pistol/
And it looks just like a Ruger American pistol.
