Wait, a Sten? Like, are we talking about a non-firing replica, or a semi-only reproduction? Because I'm gonna call pics-or-it-ain't-real if you try to tell me your broke ass just bought a transferable machine-gun :v:
It's a Mk3 parts kit, Apex has them on sale for $90 :v:
What the hell is going on here?
It's an AR trying real hard at pretending to be a P90 :v:
I think it looks pretty fucking sweet.
I think it looks pretty fucking sweet.
So do I. Too bad I'd need to move states and ask the ATF pretty-please if I didn't want them to kick my door down for having an SBR :v: Gotta say, it'd be great for sweeping trenches or clearing rooms with that short barrel and drum mag.
It looks sci fi as shit. I think I'm gonna offer the sword and my Pietta 1851 for the Swede Mauser. I really like the Yugo but I'm reluctant to give up my only semi auto especially considering it was a gift from my dad. He's told me I can trade it or sell it but I think it might hurt his feelings on the inside if I did. :v: [editline]24th November 2016[/editline] Here's the pictures he sent me Swede: [t]http://i.imgur.com/ooGumaL.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/MO8J3Zm.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/4MKxV5P.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/z4wUwMb.jpg[/t] Yugo: [t]http://i.imgur.com/VZomDaS.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/qpLHkIT.jpg[/t] I love the Yugo's tiger stripes but I have to remind myself it's not worth a whole lot.
Eh, I wouldn't want to give up a 1st AR- really, 1st anything that my dad gave me for a pretty run-of-the-mill gun. I'm not too terribly interested in mausers in general though.
Well I'll be darned! Looks straight out of the late 90's [editline]24th November 2016[/editline] I feel like Boberg was just a bit too early for the sub compact, single stack 9mm craze or they would have been big.
I don't think the $1100 price tag helped, though it was Arnie Boberg getting divorced that killed the company. Bond Arms is going to make them now.

I'll definitely pick up the whole kit once they release the furniture. Oddly enough the hardest part is gonna be getting the Magpul D-60.
Wait, imagine that with an AR57 upper...
figured out some things today. "because 4 won't fit" is not the proper answer when asked by your slightly anti-gun grandpa "Why are there 3 guns behind the seat of your truck?" (savage 10 FCP-SR, "ruger" 10/22 frankenrifle, and the only illinois legal AR I still own) that's not even counting the 3 pistols I brought (Sig P320, Canik TP9SA, and my 3 gun G19) In other news lets go shoot all these guns is a much better after thanksgiving activity then one might think. Took my brother, My niece and her boyfriend and my little nephew out to the farm and went through probably 1500 rds of .223/308/.22/9mm not including the ammo we ran through my brothers 590 and 1911. it was the first time my nephew (13) had shot anything bigger than a .22 after a little bit of coaching I had him nailing cans at 300 yds with the savage he really liked it and handled the guns way better than I thought he would you'd of thought I gave him a pony when I let him shoot the AR and it's not even the cool AR lol
Any good gun deals going on?

Palmetto state has killer deals, as usual. 10 Pmags with 1000rds of federal for 370.
Palmetto state has killer deals, as usual. 10 Pmags with 1000rds of federal for 370.
That'd be kick-ass if I didn't already have more Pmags than I knew what do do with :v:
Well I now have everything on order I need (I think) besides a stripped lower and a longer handguard.
More notes on the CZ-100: "They're brining back the CZ-100? A trigger so horrid it makes a Gen 1 Sigma and a FN FortyNine seem like match single action guns." "Barrel looked like a match for the CZ-100" "Let me start by saying I'm a huge CZ fanboy. The CZ 100 in 40SW is the worst firearm I've ever shot. " "I remember a magazine review comment that "the trigger was like dragging an anvil over railroad tracks"
What are the odds we lose the Hughes Amendment under Trump's presidency?
Palmetto state has killer deals, as usual. 10 Pmags with 1000rds of federal for 370.
DSA has them for $9 (black) and Primary Arms has them for $8.88 (green or tan). Best deal I've seen on an M1A in a long time: M1A SOCOM Kryptek Highlander stock - $1300 http://palmettostatearmory.com/springfield-armory-rifle-m1a-socom-308-win-kryptek-highlander-aa9613.html [t]http://palmettostatearmory.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/thumbnail/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/1/_/1_1_10.jpeg[/t] Primary Arms has some great deals on Geissele triggers for those of you with ARs. Also $7 blemished Croatian bolt hold open AK mags.
0. Let's be realistic here, there's too much money in machine guns for any real effort from washington to repeal it. The Hughes is going to have to be removed by the courts, not by politicians. Too much money. Even though congress is red, it'd have a lot of people that don't vote for it because of money, and of course no blue is going to vote for "holy shit real machine guns"
Could you explain the too much money part? I'd think most of the money being made on MGs is swirling around the high-tier collector market. Wouldn't the real money be in manufacturing new MGs for the consumer market? edit: a $3 VFG from DD?
I don't live in a free state. Also AR57 upper on that P90 looking AR I'm doing it you guys sold me.
If you modify a PMAG, you can use it as a brass catcher for the upper (Also, a review of the upper): http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/06/28/review-ar57-the-poormans-p90/ [editline]25th November 2016[/editline]
Could you explain the too much money part? Wouldn't the real money be in manufacturing new MGs for the consumer market?
Yes, but the price of pre '86 MGs only goes up so they're a sizeable investment. Auto sears for ARs used to cost several $K, now they're $16-25K I wish I had had money to buy an FN FNC and auto sear when they were available and cheap...
I don't live in a free state. I'd tread carefully with this upper, as cool as it'd be to bring all of those components together and build a ridiculous futuregun.
What are the odds we lose the Hughes Amendment under Trump's presidency?
None whatsoever. Republicans don't grant us or restore our rights, they just preserve the ones we already have. Keep in mind a Republican was the one who enacted the Hughes Amendment anyways.
None whatsoever. Republicans don't grant us or restore our rights, they just preserve the ones we already have. [editline]25th November 2016[/editline] Serial #1 of the CZ-75 [t]https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/15129629_1360084564003339_8902257865679961570_o.jpg[/t]
I have serial #10 of the Regent R200SS, but I don't think that has nearly the collectibility :v:
Honestly it really is a very good gun but it's just got nothing really special about it. Cool to have such an early unit all the same.
Here is a decent list of deals: http://weaponsman.com/?p=36986
The dude with the Mausers offered me his 1 pounder field gun for my AR and the sword. That's so hard to say no to, but I really don't know what I'd do with a cannon :v: He wants the sword because he has Uhlan ancestors, so it's been the focal point of this back and forth. I think I'm gonna try and get both of the Mausers though. [t]http://i.imgur.com/bwz7rgz.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/vBTDjTt.png[/t]
kinda embarrassed to say this but i'm selling a lot of gun shit i don't need to hopefully fund a straight-pull AR within the next half year. i'm gonna buy the upper, bcg, handguard and charging handle next paycheck, then hopefully a nice barrel the next one. then i have to weasel my way into getting a permit for a lower and have the local gunsmith plug the gas tube hole in the upper.. thing is i can get the upper and barrel no prob since the former is unregulated and i have a permit for a .223 gun meaning i can get an assload of .223 barrels if i want to, but the lower is treated as the gun and AR15s are not legal for hunting. i know that at least three other people have done this (one was just recently sold on a norwegian sales listing website), hopefully my local PD won't be dicks about it and let me get the lower on the condition it is shipped straight to the gunsmith where he mods the upper, does whatever to the barrel to avoid it shitting hot gases straight into the handguard, and then i'll pick it up after.
Why not order an AR barrel that does not have the gas port drilled. They sell those I think.
Want an AK. 47 or 74 is fine. Would prefer something more mid-tier since it will be my first one. But I would entertain other options.
WASRs back at Classic: https://www.classicfirearms.com/romanian-ak-7-62-x-39semiautowasr-10
