My to-be father in law collects M1 garand and i want to get him some sort of novelty garand item for christmas. Anyone know where i might find such items? I havent had much luck on the internet so far.
My shop has a metric fuck ton of the grenade launching sights, I think we're selling them for $20-$30 or something like that.
Could anyone recommend for/against a Benelli Super Vinci for $900? It would be brand new off the shelf. Currently using an 11-87 Super Magnum for duck hunting.
+ benelli - one of the ugliest guns ever made
I'm all for wacky looking stuff as long as it functions normally and I don't need some weird grip to use it. So if that's all it has going (which is pretty much what I read online), then I think it would be a solid upgrade. I loved the SBE II that I borrowed last season, supposedly this shares a lot of the same internals.
+ benelli - one of the ugliest guns ever made
great guns super light recoil and points really well but christ almighty they are ugly
Classic firearms has yugo M57s for $220, i couldnt stop myself. CYKA BLYAT CHEEKI BREEKI
Look for a Lithgow. Don't worry about mix/match parts, SMLE bits got swapped around a lot afaik.
im kinda pissed now cuz some shop around here had gotten like a lot of 30 or so (at least according to my friend), and they were like dirt cheap (150-200) but my friend checked again today and they were all sold out - to a single person.

My local shop had the opportunity to buy some AR lowers from a supplier. They wanted to get four, there were 500 available. They checked back a few days after the offer came up, and they'd all been sold to one guy.
great guns super light recoil and points really well but christ almighty they are ugly
Really? I kinda like the looks of Benellis. They're not High Points for crying out loud.

The M1 Garand grenade launch sights need to be drilled into the stock. I'd say a reproduction scope or a bayonet.
Really? I kinda like the looks of Benellis. They're not High Points for crying out loud.
99% of benellis I like the looks of just something about the vinci line irks me I think it's the weird one piece trigger group forearm deal they got going on

AIM Surplus had NiB bolt carrier groups for $99.95 shipped, so I placed an order for one of those guys.
In case you are interested in more 7.62x51, I have a bunch of Hirtenberger that I'm not using.
What were you planning on shooting it out of?
What were you planning on shooting it out of?
Well I sold my only .308 rifle so I don't have any use for it anymore.
Well I sold my only .308 rifle so I don't have any use for it anymore.
Hm. I have a PTR, but I remember hearing from somewhere that Hirtenburger surplus is a problem ammo for that rifle. Besides, 320 rounds of MEN (which I've heard very good things about, by the way) should be enough to last me awhile :v:
Are those things legal in your country?
Finally got it all cleaned up and ready for testing. If it fires well without issues, I'll grind down the retaining pin on the receiver, install the aperture sights, and remove the rear leaf sights.

Looks like an FNX.
Too bad itll still be terrible
Oddly specific question, but does anyone here own an M1A1 thompson - or at least has access to one for pictures? I need reference pictures for one thing I'm working on, and the internet isn't just quite cutting it
If Mastermaul isn't banned I recall him having a Tommy Gun.
If Mastermaul isn't banned I recall him having a Tommy Gun.
Hello. I had a 1927 but not anymore.
Why would you ever get rid of a Thompson???
Needed money at the time. They're not super great.
Great if you have tonnes of money to blow on machine guns but honestly I can think of a dozen machine guns for a similar price I'd want first.
Wasn't a machine gun. It was a newer Auto-Ord 1927.
