I see some sites selling it as an airsoft scope. Wish had it as a hunting tactical scope, meanwhile ebay has tons of em. It's metal, cheap, and works. With that said, I haven't put it through much yet so I don't know how well it'll hold up.
Well, tell us how it holds up for us once you've used it.
Just picked up my compact CZ. The breech lock it came with doesn't work with the case, so I'm going to head to Bass Pro in a bit and pick up a trigger lock before heading to the range :v:
Whew, put 600 rounds of .40 and 120 rounds of 12 gauge down range in the past couple of days. My shoulders are tired as hell. Good time though.

Reminds me of one July 4th me and my friend put about 400 rounds through his nugget m44 and about 100 through my Enfield no5

Anyone here have experience with the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22?
Marlin 795's are pretty good. Lighter than most 10/22s, very accurate, and reliable. Just lacks Hi cap mags, but it works well. Aluminum receiver and a heavy barrel make it a great bargain buy.
The S&W M&P 15-22 seems to be the greatest one from one what I've researched. And it has AR ergonomics and doesn't look as aesthethically weird as the 10/22 does with big mags.
is there really ANY of the scaled down plinkster 22 rifles made out of plastic and zink that are really worth buying over an upgraded 10/22? most seem to be unreliable, inaccurate PoSes that break/jam/have tons of feeding issues.
The M&P 15-22 is a well built rifle, at least, it has the best reputation among people who think it's okay to train with a .22 to learn how to shoot 5.56.
All those weird little abortions mossberg makes, I'm not convinced anyone has actually ever bought one.

Midway USA has atleast two kinds of 25 round mags for it. I don't need more than that for my personal use. The reason I want a M&P 15-22, is that I want the "tactical" plinking and fun, but without having to spend the cost of .223/5.56 when using my Mini-14. That, and I want a gun which I can use as justification for buying lots of Magpul/HERA Arms/fancy AR-doodads and stick on it :v

The Trigger Lock doesn't work with the case either. CZ, what the fuck?! :v:
Anyone have any suggestions for a decent hard pistol case?

Good enough excuse. If you end up with a used one, be sure it has been verified safe. They had a recall a year or so ago on firing pin/bolt issues. It would discharge without actuation of the trigger, even with the safety on.
How is the Mini 14 any way? Been thinking about getting one since I already have my main rifle done.
anyone able to tell me why the design of ar15 barrel nuts for free-float handguards seem to be so shitty with the exception of a few like the geissele one? how hard can it be to make the handguard both clamp onto the nut AND have some kind of way of stopping it from moving forwards?
the midwest gen III attachment method seems decent since it both clamps onto the nut and it can't be pulled forwards, but the torque plate seems like it would have some play, unlike the geissele with the two tabs with adjustable set screws.
disregarding any barrel nut that needs to be indexed as that is just a shitty way to do it. i wanted an ALG EMR rail but when i looked at vids of the attachment method i dropped it like a hot potato. having to adjust a dozen times with different shims is just plain out lazy, shitty design.
You might want to look into the Troy Alpha series. It uses 3 tabs that wedge into a standard Ar15 Barrel nut. The only special tool I would use is a long Pic rail mount to align the rails on the upper and fore end. I don't know if you could get one all the way over there though.
In the 22lr lineup I would no suggest the 715t at all. Most peice of shit gun ever made and mossberg should shoot themselves in the foot with their own gun that jams every other round.
The m&g15/22 is such a better gun it's unbelievable.
If I saw a 715t for 50$ with two mags and a reflex sight I still wound't touch it. I have more faith beating a armadillo to death with mine than it actually firing and killing it the way it was intended to be used.

Great gun on teaching novices the safetys of clearing jams and crap.
not legal in norway.
he would have to get one imported from overseas to the norwegian CIS department, pay $590, and wait who knows how long for them to either permit or deny the import, sale, and use of them.
gsg-5 was denied instantly fwiw
The GSG.5 was denied? I have buddy who wants one, but like me, he doesn't know much about the situation with tacti-fun .22 rifler other than the huge Walther G22 scare back in the day
pvas initially tried to get the gsg5 legal for hunting and sports shooting, and got a swift rejection. they tried only sports shooting but again told no as there was "no suitable program".
Got a source or some links for this?
Woke up to 3" of snow and a delivery from Keltec. Got the kydex cheekrest, buttpad spacers, a 10rd, and two 20rd magazines.
Now I just want to get the picatinny adapters for the handguard.

Just curious, did Norway put any further restrictions or change any regulations after Brevik went on his shooting spree?
So I've determined I suck ass at shooting pistols. I can shoot rifles pretty good but god, I felt so embarrassed today shooting my expensive HK and barely hitting the 10 yard target.
I need help

Handguns suck. Just takes a lot of practice.
I think Jays gun range has lessons, or at least CC classes. You'll learn a lot about form in one of those classes. well worth the money.
Success! Did not blow up my rifle at the range today while I was testing my hand loads. Got them to shoot as well as factory and now I'm going to start reloading in bulk.
for pistols it's just practice, practice practice
I shoot so infrequently I'm only just now getting to where I can get tight groups with my 1911 after like 3 years of owning it :v:
Yeah I much rather shoot rifles but lol maybe it's time to buy a 22 pistol to get better. I only shoot 9mm really, guess I should change for a little
Thanks guys!

It also helps to double up on ear protection (plugs and earmuffs) and put on some glasses or goggles. Flinching from the blast is what makes it impossible for me to aim. I have the stance down, more or less, but I flinch and that makes my bullets hit the dirt about 10ft in front of me. Also you mentioned HK, is it a USP-9? If so, we have the same gun and that's awesome.
What I've been doing is lots of dry-firing with snap-caps. I noticed that I was anticipating the recoil pretty frequently on the range.
Oh, have an image dump.
Here's the CZ after the range:

Fucking Germans :v:
Germans don't hold any punches. They have no quarrels with telling people how it is, and that's one thing I absolutely loved about their culture. I think they do it towards Americans just to be tongue-in-cheek, though.

Thats part of the problem. You'll never hit anything with a Saturday night special. They're so shoddily built, I'm surprised anyone was ever killed by one. The .25 auto my grandma gave me was such a piece of shit. Had like a 80lb trigger pull and felt like it was full of gravel. It also felt like the trigger broke at a different point each time I shot it. The world was a better place after the Raven Arms factory burnt down.
Jays does suck. Overpriced and by far the worst range I've ever been too. You ever get your CCW by going through that military ID loophole?

I improved a lot on the anticipation by doing the penny on the slide thing. Had to repeatedly fire with snaps in without it falling off

The fucking Titan .25 my dad got my grandma back in the day was terrible.

But it is also what I first learned to shoot on in like kindergarten
So, does anyone have any suggestions for a decent CZ75 Compact IWB holster?

Well yeah it's just some Rossi 38 from the 70s with the worlds shortest grip. I was more worried about me sucking with my HK.
Oh yeah I've had it for a while, but it was because I turned 22 and finally stopped being lazy.

I carry my CZ75b in an alien gear holster
Went and shot my 1917 enfield today along with some other guns. Still pretty damn accurate at 100yds after 99 years.
Tested out my P220 today with a new recoil spring. For whatever reason with the old rolled steel slides they put a 16lbs recoil spring in it, with the current production stainless having a 20lbs. Considering stainless is heavier you'd think it would be the other way around. Prior to putting the 20lbs spring in it was painful to shoot, now with it it's gravy. I even chucked in some 255gr Buffalo Bore +P's and it was just fine, though it did cause the slide to bottom out.
