You're thinking of the P250 series which was DA only. The P320 series is striker fired.
Which is still a drawback for some
Which is still a drawback for some
Well they don't get a choice in the matter because you use what the government gives. Don't like sights? Tough luck, deal with it. Don't like the trigger? Get used to it because that is the only trigger that is accepted.
Anyone who gets handed a P320 and finds it wanting is probably an idiot

Ar platform is a drawback for many but uncle same dont care.
Finally ordered my shotgun I've been dying to get today as an early birthday gift. Mossberg SA-20. I'm going to go home and order a new foreend and mag extension. I may even order a Bullpup Unlimited kit for my M500. Just filed my taxes early so I should be in for a little tax return.
I wish I'd get all 3 of my W2's already so I can buy a damn Enfield no 5
Requested my refund for my EOtech 553 today. What should I replace it with? 650 budget. Same purpose.
Love my T2 micro. I know it's a bit pricey but definitely well worth every cent.

Buy an AimPoint red dot. Better battery life and just as rugged, if not more rugged than any EOTech.
Aimpoint>EOTech all day every day baby
I'm thinking of buying a Russian capture Walther HP. The guy's asking $550. Anyone know if that's a good price, or what to look for in a RC HP? It looks to be a wartime production, and has the standard P38 grooved grips instead of the HP checkered ones.

Well yeah the P320 is striker fired, but it is also double action only, it is a lighter double action though at like 6.5lb
Aimpoint Micro for sure.

0 malfunctions in 180rds with Tula steel case FMJ. The reliability issues I was having with it were due to the brass casings being deformed on extraction. Except for that damn cheapo thermold 10rd not engaging the bho on empty.

Did you have to adjust the gas system at all before this?
Did you have to adjust the gas system at all before this?
I had to click it one setting to the left to compensate for over-gassing when I switched from Austrian HP11/83 to some federal something or other, haven't really had to mess with anything at all but on the one occasion.
All those brass cases were being deformed by over-gassing, so technically I could have messed with it more to get better cycling.
Back from SHOT Show, I'll do my best to answer questions, give general impressions, etc.
How was the weather?
U shot a gun?

How's the RDB Survival handle? What do you think of Troy's retro AR offerings?
What's a good shotgun for a guy to pick up? Fired the M26 MASS off last year with my unit and enjoyed it thoroughly, and been wanting to pick up a shotgun myself. Not really a guy with preferences, but I don't have much cash available at the moment, which is why I'm planning to save up before buying. I don't mind saving a couple months extra to get something more pricey. Just want something that's fun to shoot but also serves great for home defense (which almost any gun would do but still).
Maverick 88 is more or less the go to budget scattergat that is of reliable quality, as far as I'm aware.
american-180 loaded with .22 ratshot
Nvm that works
Any suggestions for a lower 30mm one piece mount that isn't insanely expensive? I'm eyeing the ADM mounts but I don't really have the extra cash right this second.

Also pictured, OD Green Magpul MOE K2 that I RitDye'd Black (My LGS was out of black ones) - I'm really happy with the result.

Pump Action? Mossberg/Maverick 88. Semi Auto? Tristar Raptor.

The ADM QD scope mount is awesome. I would just wait a week or so to save up some cash and get it. You won't be disappointed.

Buy any used Mossberg 500, Maverick 88, or Remington 870. Do not buy a pump shotgun for full price since there are so many on the used market for around $200-$300.
I don't know if it's been discussed here, but I really dig Jesse James' California, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey legal platform he's showing at SHOT. It gives me a neo-BAR feeling, and it's not totally pointless since it's built from law necessity which gives it more of a practical feel.

I think that's a neat concept but I'd like to see it without the ridiculous race gun furniture
