That's something I wish a lot of people outside of our country would understand, and it's refreshing to hear it.
Cyke, you catch more flies with honey, you know.
Good luck changing someones opinion on gun rights lol.
I absolutely guarantee raving and belittling them isn't the place to start trying to change anyone's mind on anything.
I prefer talking civilly over dinner, personally. It keeps the both of us from making a scene until I'm legally obligated to unholster my open carry extended magazine Desert Eagle brand Desert Eagle and shoot them several times while belting the national anthem because I have failed to convert them to our whole, patriotic way of life.
I hope you realize that's very much illegal here, and that your friends can get into super deep shit if they're caught.
its not the most illegal thing on their farm
its not the most illegal thing on their farm
So you are saying that laws don't stop people from doing illegal things? What about gunlaws, do they stop people from doing illegal things? :v:
Why is a BB gun illegal in australia? I'm pretty sure a 10 year old could buy a CO2 powered BB gun in the US.

According to what I read on another forum in my 5 seconds of research, illegally importing a bb gun will get treated as if you smuggled in a real firearm. And you need a Cat A license to own one apparently.
With all these laws, it's not weird that australians still feel like a bunch of prisoners. Tell me, can I fart in public without a license or do I need a license for that too? :v:

bb guns and even paintball guns are treated pretty much the same as real firearms in australia. you need a license for a paintball gun.

All gas powered guns (including airguns, bb guns and paintball guns) are legally considered firearms in Australia. Few people bother with bb guns given that after jumping through all the legal hoops you might as well buy a .22LR or a shotgun as they're in the same legal category.

Australia sounds like Auschwitz for a gun person.
Direct cowitness or lower 1/3rd? The former you'll never be able to do, even with a micro.
OK good to know. Thanks.

We need a rating for "absolutely horrifying".
Seriously my condolences to anyone who lives that upside down nanny state.
For you ameri-cunts, the Repeal The NFA-petition just passed 100k signatures, feel free to add your own if you haven't already as the more signatures there are, the less it can be ignored.

So Im guessing those guns arent legal either. Why would you even bring gun politics into this thread when youre handling illegal firearms?

While i agree the administration it just gonna go "lol fuck naw", i hope this reminds trump jr to get on his daddy's ass and sign us up some executive orders for national concealed carry, or repeal some stupid old import bans so we can have cheap accessible russian and chinese guns again. Maybe get rid of 922 so we can have ak trigger assemblies that actually work right.
I wonder what happened to get the petition up to 100k? How did it get the extra attention?
This petition is only a microscopic step forward, it gets people talking and thinking. If we want to remove the NFA or change the laws that the NFA is creating then this petition is one tiny step but well worth it. No way in hell are we going to get what we need overnight. I hope to see in the next 4 years something good coming out of all this. IMO, I don't think Trump cares enough about guns. I personally think he's probably okay with how the gun laws are now and his goal on guns for the most part is to atleast make sure they don't go backwards. Also, there's this. Thought i'd share.

Every major gun channel that exits has been pushing it on all social media outlets.

If they killed the NFA would that also kill the Hughes Amendment as well?

Like, I want National CC bad but I don't know if an executive order is a good way to get it.
Pros:
We get it like, immediately more or less.
Con:
The next snow flake President can repeal it with relative ease.
Better to wait for someone to write a law but that's a whole other challenge.
Well hughes is pretty pointless without it sooooo
Idk really, dumber things have happened.
If they killed the NFA would that also kill the Hughes Amendment as well?
Well, removal of the NFA would remove the necessity to register machine guns, so basically yes.
Ok so here is rifle before:

Now the stock does not match however, not sure how I feel about that.
byf 1943 P38 with no rust or pitting for 600? Numbers matching with all waffen stamps
[editline]11th February 2017[/editline]
Just kidding, bought an unfired in the box, Polytech m14 for $800 lol. Everything including mags and sling is fill in the wrappers, cosmoline on the gun too
Why did you do that
You should've bought the P38, $600 is a killer deal for the one you described.
I woulda bought the polytech. Good price for it and it's the only M14 worth buying.
I might go back and get the P38 too. I just put that M14 on lay away. You have to understand with that M14, that is easily worth $1200 at least with the condition. It's essentially from a time capsule, EVERYTHING is there and original
[editline]11th February 2017[/editline]
I'm considering just flipping it. It's unfired for sure, I've always wanted an m14 but i would feel awful if I shot it.
JG sales has surplus 92S's for 250$ cheap italian BLAT BLAT I bought one even if it's beat to shit fuck it

If you think Australia is bad you should look up Japan's gun laws.

Oh also no import marks that I could find
How do transfers from online work? Never done one before. Do I need to notify the place ahead of time and get everything done first?
Yee. Get your local FFLs info, let them know you're planning on using them so you can leave a phone number and a name or something. Usually you send it all to the email for the person or shop youre buying from (fax or email usually), gets sent there, pay fee when you pick it up.
That's the usual for me, other shops and holders might handle it differently.
