Day 5 13,343 words written, I should still write at least hundred more to push it to over 2000 per day. The cold turkey seems to count even the words that were rewritten, or deleted, as I always make it go until 2000 words are written.

It's really amazing how much your story and the world it's set in evolves while you're writing it. I had a vague idea of where I was going (and still do) but I've managed to surprise myself with some of the ideas I've incorporated just by writing. And the world the story takes place in has drastically changed from what it was originally (and in a good way).

I think it's because i didn't create a structure for the story earlier an the events sort of just happened.
16,394 words down on the (digital) paper. This is so much fun. I have a job interview tomorrow, not sure how much I can write if I get a job. I should be fine though, with the lead I have.
well, shit all, i just slept about 21 hours straight. i am now roughly 2400 words behind :V
well, shit all, i just slept about 21 hours straight. i am now roughly 2400 words behind :V
What the hell did you do last night? Did attempt to play trough all of HL3 closure on one sitting?
Whoops, not going to be able to do this, have another thing taking up my creative juices, gotta write some lore for a gaem (my dad is also writing a novel and I promised to give him some C&C and help with it)
Augh so mad, due to midterms I'm only at 7,300 words. I can catch up rather well (as in, have 2-3 thousand word hours as I have tonight and last night) but I have a feeling if I hit a serious bump after this, I might get fucked hard. Then again first time I did NaNoWriMo I did 12,500 words in the last three days :v:
up to 11.7k words now it goes ok
And I'm up to 9k after a bit of a blitz, tomorrow I should be all caught up if not ahead. No idea where that inspiration came from but fuck it, I ain't ready to lose this thing on day seven.
The good news is that I just hit 50 000 words, the bad things is I already had 43 000 written before November started :v:
Only 1,395 today, what a shame. I wonder if I can hold on.
1,494 words today, that work on the first day is really paying off. Edit: Darn, it didn't automerge, and now I can't delete this. Edit 2 the revenge: 20,771 words now, too bad that people were blown up for trusting humans to be smart, so the thread is in my life support.
Now I'm at 22,270 words. I left it very late today by an accident.
was behind 3.7k, now I caught up 16706 words boys! we out here
Still trailing behind at 16,848 on Day 11, but I'm getting close.
word count is up to 23,737 as of now, man I'm tired.
I haven't written in 5 days I'll go fuck myself
At 25,187 words, I am officially half way trough.
I too have managed to get somewhat back on curve at 21,479 words. Although part of that is due to a "meta breakdown" I slipped in between the siege of Lower Brichester and the aftermath of said siege. In a way, the "breakdown" serves to offer an insight into the author (or in this case the Observer), and a passing post-mortem of previous projects, enabled by criticisms levelled at them by the "Cardinal", who at this point has decided to tear down the wall a little and mess with the man behind the keyboard. I have a feeling that that passerine little prick is going to give me more shit as the month continues... Gee whiz, I hope you guys like things getting meta in here! Don't tell ironman17, but this ain't stopping with Hunter's Moon. I think I'll pay his little Undertale fanfic a visit, once he's done with NaNoWriMo. -Cardinal XO
Shit, I'ma have to call it quits lads. I'll still write, just nowhere near 1667 words a day, I'd be lucky if I manage 500 a day. Hopefully I'd still finish before the year ends though. Good luck to the rest of you.

I'm gonna have to make up a ton of time and writing over Thanksgiving if I want to get anywhere near close to finishing my novel, and even then I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to. Wish me luck.
I promised I wouldn't cheat. To catch up. I have cheated.
Day 16, and I'm up to 27k words. Over the hump, on curve to finish before the month is out. Let's just hope the work days don't throw off my groove.
My younger brother is dictating. My right arm is completely broken. Long story short, I work at a supermarket in the meat department. I was pulling turkeys out when the table i had them all on caught the lip of a ramp and fell over hitting my right arm. Its fractured at the wrist and elbow. I won't be able to complete this by the end of the month.
I fell behind yesterday, came up against a bit of a wall, but now I think I have enough to break through this particular block...
I'm severely behind and just toss me up on the losers wall.
Same here, though I'm determined to eventually finish mine.
Phew, I wrote almost 5000 words in a one day to make up for the two days where I wrote practically nothing.
Just a little bit more, and I'll be done with Wellsverne, for now at least.
