How the fuck does a phone number get compromised? Did someone steal his phone?
Maybe they tricked his phone carrier into thinking that they were Boogie and that he'd lost his SIM-card and got a new one sent to them or something.
But I don't really get why Omega is blaming youtube. Turn on 2-factor authentication and use a security key if you have a big channel and it's your livelihood.
Because AlphaOmegaSin likes going into videos without knowing all the facts and makes himself look like an idiot in the process

Can't really tell if his heart is in the right place or if he's just looking to make it appear that way, really. I don't really know what he really wanted from YouTube, and it's pretty easy to make drama happen by criticizing YouTube.
Whilst I enjoy his content I hate people who are just like him. Being too nice get's bad attention.
you hate people who are nice??

are you sure you're not causing your own problem??
for those people who think it's hard to get someone's number, I don't know it seems pretty easy.
No I never said I hated people who are nice or too nice. I just find it mildly annoying. Way to go on taking it out of context and yes wrong choice of words on my part.
I think i took it exactly in context :v:
When someone is too nice how fair is it to blame them? Blame the fucking assholes taking wrongful advantage of it
I think the word you're looking for is naive.
Boogie seems like a really nice and genuine guy, I have no clue why anyone would attack him but it's great that he got everything back and restored. Unfortunately it feels like most of his videos are super depressing, had to unsubscribe since it feels like he can't go an entire video without mentioning his horrible childhood or his struggle with extreme obesity.

Alpha's a pretty good dude, he just needs to look before he leaps.
knowing "hackers" it was probably some phishing attempt that was send out to large youtubers and boogie fell for it. if there was a real flaw in the system that made it hackable multiple accounts would be compromised.
plus even with the phone number how do you reset an account without the actual phone?
[editline]28th June 2016[/editline]
and yeah as said before 2 factor auth would've prevented this
Boogie officially explained what has happened:

Sounds like the hacker tricked Verizon.
