• Making a pipe out of a bullet

I have myself an inert (explodey bits removed) 7.62mm round and i was hoping i could somehow turn it into a pipe. Unfortunately i am at a loss on how to do this and am wondering if anyone has any advice or instructions. The whole bulletand casing is 71mm long and 12mm wide at its largest point
you could make it into a one hitter if you put a screen towards the end of the wider bit and got it to stay in, and drilled a hole into the small bit. this is a one hitter if you don't know gunna need a lathe or something to get the drilling done right though.
You could turn it into a slide for a bong, that might be cool.
The whole thing would heat up so bad. I mean a bullet would be a cool looking pipe, but you can get some pretty kickass looking pipes.
This would be pretty easy. Personally I would try to configure it into a bong bowl/stem, but without losing the bullets essence. You want your friends to really see what their smoking out of.
Oh god I hate those damn things, I remember burning my mouth, part of an eyebrow, and part of my hair on those. (On one hit.)
wow, must have been hilarious. for everyone else
A bunch of my buddies have bullet pipes except theirs are made from 50 cal rounds so they are a bit bigger and more managable as a pipe.
You're going to need some good cutting tools for this one. If the bullet is hollow, you can do the following: - Cut the tip of the bullet off so that you have a mouthpiece. Try not to cut it too far in, otherwise your mouthpiece will be too big. - Either burn or cut a hole in the thicker end of the pipe and place a bowl in there. I would recommend a metal pipe bowl (as pictured in the top-left below). Simple as that! If you want shotgun you could always just just a hole in the side. All in all it seems like a pretty simple task, you just need the right tools for the job!
OR you could simply pop the primer out. voila! a one hitter.
You realize that bullets do contain lead right?
Shoot the round then clean it, cut a hole and put in a little bowl.
You could pop off the tip, puncture a hole in the bottom and then press it into the actual bullet so the tapered end goes back into the casing or whatever it is, but I'd put some thing on the end to keep you from blistering your lips. This reminds me of the grenade bong I made...
uhh the bullet is lead, you need to take that out, unless its fake.
Just buy a fucking pipe. Why waste time making a shitty pipe that is going to result in severely burnt eyebrows?

He does need to take the bullet off of it, I agree.
I'm going to have to agree with this. I don't think it's worth the headache.
It's not about needing something to smoke out of. It's about wanting something cool, that you made, that you can have pride in every time you light up. It's about creativity and art and ingenuity. I say he should use it as a slide still though.

One-hitters are significantly smaller, hence the name. You can pack a decent bowl into a chillum

This may be a newbish question but why would smoking through lead even matter? Doesn't it have an insane melting point?
Low melting point and it makes you retarded.
This may be a newbish question but why would smoking through lead even matter? It's used universally as weights and my dad actually made some lead fishing weights not long ago. So I assume it doesn't need too much. Lead also rubs off. Like dust.

Bullet casings conduct heat like crazy. I held one at one end and put a flame on the other and it was too hot to hold in like 3 seconds.
I always thought lead had a high melting point. Heh. Well, yeah, the moral of the story is don't smoke bullets.
Some bullet casings will become easily bendable when heated, so I might suggest just not using one at all.
Also, Once shot off, the casing will still contain chemicals, no matter how much you clean it out, some of it will still be there. This can significantly ruin your high and/or damage you in some way. Simply enough, I suggest purchasing a pipe.
