Okay so here I am, a gay man, and I had this really pretty girl come up to me one day (so she was a little drunk, big deal) and she started talking with me really friendly and complimenting my hair. Eventually she said "You're really cute, can I give you my number?" It was obvious she was lonely and looking for guys to hang out with, and maybe a little bit of a whore, but she was very friendly and nice anyway. I took it, text her after a while telling her I was gay and wasn't a dating option for her, and she was cool with it, and we still talk now and then. I took this as a huge compliment though--I mean wow, suddenly out of no where a very attractive young lady decides I'm attractive, and builds up the courage to talk to me because of it. Why shouldn't I take it as a compliment?
