Using it since 2007 then going back to Vista is a bad idea. [editline]07:16AM[/editline]
Give me one reason Vista is bad. :bandwagon:
Don't you know man? It hogs resources and is very slow.
Looks nice and isn't shit like Vista.
New hard drive and decided to switch. I do not regret it

Well i dident pick windows 7. :smug:
Looks nice and isn't shit like Vista.
It IS vista, just optimized a bit more and with a shiny UI. That doesn't stop it being the best OS ever, though. In fact, it's largely because of vista that W7 is so good.
Had Vista 32 bit, although I liked that OS, wanted something a tad more efficient (ie, now running Win7 Professional x64)
Well i dident pick windows 7. :smug:
It shows.
I'm still on XP, I have an unsupported graphics card and there's no driver for it on 7. Yeah, I don't have much money.

I was hesitant to upgrade ever since having Vista for a while, and running into a plethora of issues and problems that I never experienced with XP, I stayed with XP because it simply worked for me while I had to keep fucking around with Vista. Then Just Cause 2 came out and gave me the motivation to actually try Windows 7 and I've never regretted my decision since, it looks better and I don't have to go through any of the shit I went through with Vista.
People should stop the bandwagon on vista and XP 64-bit. I choose windows 7 because I couldn't go back after the RC1. I enjoyed the new UI and features and therfor decided to buy it.
If I do need to format my computer or do a full upgrade (mobo, ram, processor...etc) I will upgrade to 7. Considering it right now would be a hassle for me, so I'll do it when I need to. Currently I'm still fine with Vista 64-bit.
Well, I still have XP just because I wouldn't want to lose all of my data moving to 7, and because I like the look of xp, none of that sleek and shiny stuff. Though soon I'm going to change because my XP is 32-bit.

Had to format, so why not.
Because xp and vista are utter shit. and because I got it free.
From the top of my head:

It works like I want it- No matter how much new hardware I slap in it'll just keep on booting and running.
It hasn't slowed down in the months I have been using this install.
It looks pretty without such performance loss that I want to disable aero
I don't feel it misses out on things XP had
It runs great on this laptop (Shoddy quality, taken with phone camera for a reason I can't remember)
And I've never craved to go back to Vista or XP.
Newest version of Windows - therefore the best.
You're wrong. 1 word, vista.
Came with the laptop I chose.
Because I got it free. It's also awesome though and I'd have bought it anyway.
You're wrong. 1 word, vista.
Vista was only terrible in initial days. After a couple of service packs, it runs quite smoothly. People seem to forget it's a similar story with Win XP.
Vista isn't that bad, it runs good on our school computers. Well, did.
You're wrong. 1 word, vista.
Oh, please, do explain further.
I didn't choose Windows 7. Windows 7 came with my PC. I had no choice of OS.
Because it's stylish, easy to use, convenient and has good performance.
Vista was decent, yeah the kernel was a little bloated, but once you turn superfetch off and disable a few of the services you won't ever use, it runs pretty nicely. 7 is basically Vista with a slimmed down kernel and OS in general, slightly better DWM, and a new theme with a larger taskbar that's called the superbar. And 7 has a lot less negative rep than Vista.
Wow, and I thought Facepunch wasn't still on the Vista hate bandwagon.
