Let me take another approach... If you want to have sex with children, but you understand that a child's needs comes before your own, and that you wouldn't want to hurt them mentally or physically, you come to the conclusion that you can never have sex with children. You are logically satisfied, but you can't help what attracts you so you are still attracted to them. What is the problem with this.

Woah, calm down. First of all, most of us came to an agreement, I agree with Lankist's reply to my last post. Second of all, I am just arguing my opinions, and maybe psychologically it is because I have a few fetishes I am ashamed of, but pedophilia is not one of them, so stop flaming.
