OP, while I feel bad for you. http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=778487 <-- GD sticky
Bad ideas for threads My x hurts/is sick/is dead

So what about mesotheleoma which is caused by asbestos exposure? That's caused by something foreign. Cancer can be caused from just about anything. Be it first/second hand smoke to exposure to chemicals. OP: I'm in a similar boat. We found out earlier in the year that my grandma has lung cancer. She's pretty much on oxygen 24/7 now :/
While cancer can me caused by any bouquet of catalysts, I'm still sticking to my definition of what cancer is, because it's not a virus or bacteria that stays present in your system, it is the defection of your cells. I'm not saying at all that cancer isn't caused by sunlight, cigarette smoke, or well, pretty much anything seeing as how anything these days can give you cancer or kill you in some horrendous way.
I think I hate you. Reported. Anyways, i'm sorry about your friend/fellow student. Death kinda blows.
Less that I hate him, more that I feel that I'm being flamed and insulted for stating a simple opinion on a definition of a "disease" if you guys would rather it be put that way.
I refuse to call it a disease.
what what the fuck is... what?
Does making me want to troll this thread make me a asshole?
it makes you an idiot
Man i feel sorry for you mate. -snip- Edit: What the Fuck? Funny ratings?

After all, the proper medical term for "cancer" is: malignant neoplastic disease.
disabilities are a sub-category of diseases
While cancer can me caused by any bouquet of catalysts, I'm still sticking to my definition of what cancer is.
Translation: Though you do have a point, i refuse to accept it cause i'm right and you're wrong.

Like you try to act smart, but everyone's like "wow whos this kid tryin to fool?" y'know. Nobody cares about what you think about the disease. But personally i've never heard anybody classify it as a disability, or disorder, or whatever you said that I don't care enough to remember.
You sickos who rated funny, I hope you feel happy. Would you laugh if your friend died of cancer? No.
My best friend that I've known since I was 3 died of a brain cyst just over a year ago. Life is rough man. Enjoy the good times while you can.
Diseases cause disabilities.
This is for all the people who died duo to kidney cancer..
I just had surgery on my kidney, does that count? bad jokes aside I've lost plenty of friends due to cancer, sorry for your loss. We need to perfect nanobots now.
Wow... Your friend should have upgraded to a Quad, Duo's are outdated and prone to shutting down randomly!
I saw my best friend die of leukemia when I was a kid My step-dad died of colon cancer My real dad is dying of colon cancer I hate cancer. My condolences.

The nanobots are then urinated out. So far, human trials have been promising.

I hope this delivers.

One of my teammates was killed by a tram a few years back. His head was so destroyed, he had to have a mask on his face during the funeral.
One of my teammates was killed by a tram a few years back. His head was so destroyed, he had to have a mask on his face during the funeral.
Why did his family have an open cask funeral? Usually in these cases it's closed.
I sincerely hope you get cancer.
:frogdowns:

Guys lets stop flaming. I just posted this for other people who have lost people close to them duo to cancer. You get a very bad feeling when someone close to you die for the first time..

My PC died duo to cancer too... it was a sad day. :911:
I refuse to call it a disease. It is not a foreign contagion, it's mainly that something has caused YOUR cells to stop doing apoptosis correctly, so it grows out of control. Sounds more like a disability than a disease to me.
if you have cancer, are you disabled? no, you are able to move out and about and live your life normally, if it is controlled. however, if at or nearing the fatal stages of cancer yes you are disabled, technically. [editline]09:26PM[/editline]
I sincerely hope you get cancer.
you're a jackass [editline]09:27PM[/editline] and you said your father died of cancer [editline]09:27PM[/editline] unbelievable
