My most recent trip on DXM was rather frightening and I probably won't be doing it again or at least not for a long while. My body load was incredibly intense and my robowalk was so intense I could barely walk at one point. I've not really enjoyed DXM yet which is a shame as I've heard so many good things about it. Every trip is either seriously underwhelming or incredibly overpowering. I had many revelations last time I did it but cannot recall them. The basic idea was that I accepted death and didn't recognize myself in the mirror. Trust me, it sounds scarier than it is to be shocked to realise somebody in the mirror is you.
The bit I like about DXM is the next day afterglow. I tend to feel really quite good for the following day. I also have pretty pronounced pupil dilation for at least the morning following the trip.
twitching is a big problem for me for some reason. sometimes it escalates to full-blown shaking. happened once while I was trying to order an angus burger from mcdonalds. just stood in front of the cashier and basically vibrated in place while I tried to order. it didn't help that my eyes were really red.

Dan, will this medication effect mdma?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomoxetine
It's the heavy release of serotonin that causes the psychedelic effects, isn't it?
Well if those things re uptake serotonin, why it wouldn't re uptake serotonin like chemicals, aka psylocibin?
[editline]11:13AM[/editline]
Luke, I don't think it would be affected by big margin, MDMA affects primarly serotonin and dopamine system, this drug just affects norepinephrine.
Dan, will this medication effect mdma?

MDMA is classified as a combination serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SRI) and serotonin-releasing agent (SRA), though it is typically only referred to as the latter, since its definition essentially includes SRI properties. In addition to its actions on serotonin, MDMA causes the same effects on the norepinephrine transporter (NET) and dopamine transporter (DAT), thus inducing release of norepinephrine and dopamine as well.

MDMA is well-capable of releasing all three of the neurotransmitters. Perhaps in great quantities. If I was a doctor then I would tell you never to mix them but my honest opinion is that you should probably be alright. MDMA is hardly famous for it's noradrenaline activity. The increased heart rate of the Atomoxetine says to me you should avoid strenuous activity such as continuous dancing and hyperthermia whilst on MDMA. Drink lots of isotonic drinks (Powerade, Lucozade etc.).
I hate twitching when I'm high, the lower voice thing is funny sometimes but it can be surprising because it happens out of nowhere.

Also, just don't take that medication same day you will take MDMA.
I get quiet (as in less social) and talk really deliberately and a bit loudly, like "This Is A Really Enjoyable High I'm Experiancing."
I hate talking like that but it's all that comes out.
Bet you're a barrel of laughs!
Just kidding mate, I do the same on stims sometimes. Worse when new people are there, bet i look like a right weirdo.
The twitching gets annoying sometimes, especially if I get blasted n baked and it happens multiple times. (I havent found a solution to this)
The coughing gets obnoxious if you smoke too much, or especially if someone smoking with you ALWAYS coughs and it just gets irritatingly repetitive.(water fixes this)
Munchies used to be an issue... but I decided not to let myself eat when im baked out of my gord (unless its before an intended meal) and after a while I stopped getting the munchies. The stomach growl from my munchies feel different from actual hunger.
I'm sorry, it just reminded me.
That comic reminds me of the time me and some friends walked in to the small ass liquor store stoned, having put the joint out right before we walked in, and the 50-60 year old lady who works the counter says "If you guys stand in here any longer, Ill get high and wont be able to work", because we reeked.
I hate it how sometimes when high I can't get myself comfortable.
All the sharpy edges of cellphones, cigarette packs and stuff are so uncomfortable in your jeans if you stick your hand in there.
(A great solution: Clear out ALL stuff somewhere before you chill. Keep cellphone with you though, let it chill too somewhere near you)
I always have ALOT of shit in my pockets, Im that guy who always has papers, cigarettes, a bowl, baggies, a cell, a knife, sometimes a pill keychain thing, and of course a grinder.
I remember though back when I started smoking, I used to get kinda uncomfortable with the feeling of being high, and I had a few doubts about continuing smoking in the first month or two, but I kept on smoking, and now I can handle being high anywhere. Its funny to think back on how Id freak out and think "Oh god theyre gonna know Im high", but really that in itsself is your main enemy. If youre all worried then youre more likely to show it.
You shouldn't carry a knife around with you. Even if it's for self defense only it'll get you into trouble one day.

Depends...
My knife has saved me more than it's gotten me in trouble.
Not having weed is the worst part about weed. We need to come up with more ways to remedy that problem.

I carry a knife as a tool. use it all the time too. several times a day at least.
I carry a knife as a tool. use it all the time too. several times a day at least.
this. admittedly a swiss army knife with various other tools, but the knife is the most used of all the implements, i'd guess. friend pissed me off few months ago when i took it out in school to strip some wire for the broken battery pack in my calculator - 'you shouldn't have that in school'. i asked why i shouldn't, and when the reasons amounted to 'you're not supposed to' i told him to fuck off. really annoyed me.

I hate how fucked up my lips tongue and nose are after doing mephedrone.
Solution: Get more money so I can afford ecstasy.
Or currently run out of money entirely so I can't buy anything.
IF WEED MAKES YOU AN INTROVERT SOCIAL SHUTIN, WHY WOULD D YOU USE IT LOSER?
look at me i like being an anti social loser?
i seriously do not understand how some of you fucks operate. there are some small cons to smoking weed cotton mouth chink eyes orthe munchies but if youre becoming an anti social fuck stop using it you goddamn addict.
Weed is not addictive. (Physically)
Weed is not addictive. (Physically)
But then again everything you like can be psychologically addictive so can you really say weed is addictive in any way? I guess it's because it's a great thing to do and many people who try it like it so they keep on doing it. (Not that you "do" weed. )
Mephedrone and Methylone are not physically addictive as such, but they still cause minor withdrawal symptoms. I suppose it's subjective, though. ;)
Zoning out

I do that without weed.
I do that without weed.
this.
I get it tenfold when I smoke weed...
Talking to sober people. I will just chat away about everything and nothing, and they don't seem to comprehend any of it. they just sit there and laugh.
Solution, get them high. talk about everything and nothing to them and listen in return. beautiful
