oh of course my post is the last one on the page. no one's gonna fucking read it.
I did :saddowns:
Same goes for maya or 3ds max
You and I capture a few ships, and suddenly all these countries are after us. Screw them.
Same goes for maya or 3ds max
yes i mentioned this in my post
Just what we need. Another governing body.
fun fact: since this is an international treaty, it doesnt have to be constitutional! isnt that great?
You literally cannot stop piracy. It's like a disease that keeps mutating As long as people like EA are out to screw paying consumers unpaying consumers will be out to screw EA
You literally cannot stop piracy. EA is an asshole because they think screwing over paying consumers will make people pay for their products.
I don't care what the ACTA will bring in, I will continue to do what I do weather or not the ACTA will do anything about it or not. Most of the games I play I don't play more then once because I got bored of them. What would have happened if I had bought them? yeah, wasted money.
You literally cannot stop piracy. It's like a disease that keeps mutating As long as people like EA are out to screw paying consumers unpaying consumers will be out to screw EA
Activision is the new EA
Funny enough my country is not on the list. Also I pirate when I feel it's necessary, not the daily "Oh mai gawd, a new game, download download download"

God help those who actually think you can stop a pirate.
As long as it doesn't restrict my bondage gnome fetish porn I'm okay with it.
Lets start Internet V2.0. String fiber optic cables everywhere and have a massive public router thing in every city center. It would be like one giant LAN party. (A sign that reads "No governments" can hang on each router)
Why does the goverment agree to this stuff, when it's obvious it's only good for the companies, who want ways to get every cent out of their audience? A pirate isn't going to kill someone just because he downloaded a file, and the goverment resources used to track pirates could be used on more dangerous crimes.
they day acta was passed... all piracy immediately stopped... and the companies profits... stayed the same. someone isnt gonna buy photoshop for 500$ to photoshop funny pictures or do faceswaps. especially if that person has never used it before. the same goes for just about any professional design software. however, some of these people learn to use it, and then later in life work for a company that buys it, or buy it at home, etc etc. but wait kybalt! theres a 30 day trial! and to that i say, find me someone with a life who learned photoshop in 30 days, this doesn't even go for other programs like maya or whatever. as for music? artists arent loosing money, only the record companies are. why do the record companies even exist? games? try before you buy. especially considering the amount of shitty ass games that come out, do you really want to pay 50$ for spore just to find out it sucks? its unfair to the consumers to have to gamble like that, especially since you cant return PC games. movies? oh god the box office sales of avatar weren't enough for the 13th gold plated yacht! must sell DVDs and Blue-Rays!
Most games don't even have demos anymore either, and very few people want to play $60 for a game they might not even like. I also find it hilarious that Avatar is going to be in 3D theaters again because they added a whopping 7 minutes of extra footage that wasn't in the original. Add another yacht to that, maybe even two or three more since some Avatar fans are insane.
Aren't we using Internet 2.0 already? Isn't this going to be more like Internet 3.0?
Internet 1.0 was colleges as ISPs, internet 2.0 is big companies as ISPs, internet 3.0 will be the culmination of all computers connected together in one big network hopefully.
I stoleded like 3 ships yesterday but Ill stop ok?
Good thing I found Zune Pass in time, I've downloaded at least 20GB of music legally thanks to it.
Here we go again with the whole "LOL ACTA GONNA FORCE POLICE STATE FUK DA POLISE WE GOTTA SAVE THE MUTHAFUKKEN INTANET HOMMIE" mentality.
After i lost $60 worth of iTunes music after a reformat, i've decided not to buy music.
Here we go again with the whole "LOL ACTA GONNA FORCE POLICE STATE FUK DA POLISE WE GOTTA SAVE THE MUTHAFUKKEN INTANET HOMMIE" mentality.
Does that apply to all ACTA protesters or just the in-constructive ones?
My dad's been using my laptop to get movies, I have Utorrent because I downloaded a linux distro (seriously), and he's gonna get me arrested. Bastard. :tinfoil:
never? unlikely.
Unfortunately, my halo is only lightly tinted with rust. as I have only pirated 1 thing. Thats fucking right, fuck your industry murder. Yeah, I pirated PvZ. ._.
I'm gonna pirate as much stuff as possible before this rule goes into effect. And also this is some fucked shit. (User was banned for this post ("Warez" - SteveUK))

God, I love Dead Kennedys Also this won't stop any Pirate.
Pirating doesn't hurt any industries because the people who pirate wouldn't buy the product in the first place so nothing is lost.
