That sucks bro. I was just thinking about why the hell the body goes through seizures. Not the causes of it, but, I mean what the negative feedback is caused by.
Go see a doctor.

Yea. Fuck the movie and get to the doctors. It might happen again during the movie.
Shit, dude. Hope you're okay. :saddowns:

seizures can most certainly kill you, and they are *not* good for you. a seizure is a misfiring of neurons in the brain. it's like a piston hitting the edge of the cylinder in a car engine.

Ever had something bother you or get under your skin and you start trembling and get a terrible urge to stretch. Thats a natural respones to irratability your body in a seizure is loosening up muscles and stretching out nerve endings do to rapid neuron firing. In my CPR class we were taught that many peolpe after being revived will go into a seizure to bring themselves back from shock.

Like the person said, if its under 5 your ok, if its under 10 your still in the green. I had to be taught this since my mother has seizures regularly. Although the kind she has are caused by a controlled condition so besides that I really can't say form expierance.
Related note, some punk ass kid I know had a seizure at Transformers 2.
He started freaking out and we thought we was just being a dumbass (because that's the kind of piece of shit he is), and then we heard him making these weird gasping sounds and then he fell on the ground and clawed his way to the end of the row of seats. His friends helped him out.
They later asked a friend of mine who I was with at the theater "Do you think they will give us a refund?". He promptly replied "No, they would probably tell you you're a fucking idiot for bringing an epileptic kid to a Michael Bay movie."

Uh, no you can definitely die from seizures. There are also chances of brain damage and other annoying complications. But this isn't typical at all of most seizures.
Also, there are a lot of different types of seizures, absent seizures, complex partial, and other kinds.
He already said he just got back from the hospital...
I had a seizure once when I was a kid. It was due to a prescription drug for ADD (I think Wellbutrin)
I was playing Starcraft & basically fell over, started spazzing out, and freaked out my brother.
I don't remember anything at all. It's pretty weird. I got up and took a shower & didn't even realize that it happened until later in the day when my brother said something about it- he thought I was joking cause we always fuck around with each other like that.

Anyway, I just made this after getting back from the hospital. Will be back later after the movie. My doc said I was lucky to be alive after it. :frown:

How long were you out? Unless it was more than five minutes, you probably weren't in any significant danger.
I would say he was, considering the doctor said that he was lucky to be alive.
I hope you're okay and it's nothing serious :gonk:
I wonder what it's like... From the person experiencing it and a person watching...
You're lucky to have a brother like that.
Smoking weed helps reduce the frequency of seizures in most epileptics.

Well to me I felt asleep but I could see, I thought it was a dream until I realized my bro was actually yelling at me. And for my bro, well he thought I was going to die.
And to the above guy, I have been smoking weed for a few years now.

Your parents never go out to eat together?
Don't die on me.
One time when I was grappling with some guy at my dojo, he had a seizure. SCARED THE LIVING FUCK OUT OF ME! Especially when he started spitting out blood (I think it was because he bit his tongue). Me and everyone were freaking the fuck out, and then like 5 seconds later finally someone went to get the sensei and he was super calm and stuff (because this guy had a history and it wasn't the first time it happened at the dojo either). It was just soooooo wierd....holing him in a semi-submissive hold and then having him all of a sudden breaking out in to a seizure.
LATE someone above said that. har har har
edit: fuck ninja'd >_<
Sounds like a passive seizure. I used to get them a lot when I was younger.

Most people don't remember it. I have complex partial seizures and it's not like muscle spasms or anything, but every once in a while I'll do something odd and have no memory of it. Some people get the feeling of it happening and that's more of an escalation, while some people don't get it at all and just go into it.
