What the fuck, you're supposed to post on facepunch first then we tell you to go to the doctor then you go to the hospital.
Except unlike most of FP, I have common sense.
That sucks man, I've witnessed a couple of seizures before, my first one was in 5th grade, a kid next to me had a grand mal and he fell on my lap drooling, I didn't know much about a seizure so it was scary :( I cant imagine how you feel. Best of luck.
First let me start off with; what. the. fuck.
Ok yeah. Well I am gonna leave soon soon to go watch a movies with my family so I am gonna hurry and make this small thread about earlier. Now I have absolutely no history with seizures at all, and no family history with them either. I basically woke up at my desk to my brother yelling at me to wake up, after I woke up he was asking me repeatedly what I was doing, pretty much I could tell he was thinking I was high which I was actually completely sober. He then calls my parents who are on a date that he thinks I just had a seizure, and lucky for them they were finished eating and came back home, my bro said that he saw me in an almost unconscious state but my eyes were open, I was shaking and drooling.
Anyway, I just made this after getting back from the hospital. Will be back later after the movie. My doc said I was lucky to be alive after it. :frown:
Sounds like Epilepsy. Thats almost exactly how my first seizure happened. My advice is to check in with your neurologist.

Dude I'm epileptic, thats not funny.
Dude you can't die from seizures.
Seriously, why the heck is posting those epilepsy gifs funny?
One kid in my PE class was trying to do a slam dunk and fucked up.
He fell and hit the back of his head, HARD, and had a seizure for like a minute.
I thought he was going to die. :ohdear:

Yes you can. You can choke on your drool, you can hit your head when you fall over,or you can have brain damage.
It happens all the time.

I know someone in my class that has a history for seizures, I have personally seen him have about 3-4 over the last few years, and my friends say he had a lot more. Poor guy.

You could have a tumour.

Waiting for more seizure pictures...
fuck you
some one called? :smug:
I used to have seizures, now sometimes when sitting for a long period of time, when I stand up I black out, sometimes random images will pop into my head, only seconds later to forget what they were, it's pretty fucked up, my body sometimes loses control and I will twitch or fall over, I was standing near a cupboard once and I twitched really fast and my head banged against it, it didn't hurt until after this blackout effect wore off (which is like 5 to 10 seconds).
I once saw a guy in my school who had a seizure on the stairs. He was on the floor, shaking and there was a bit of blood coming out of his mouth. A bunch of people passed him, I called for help and someone ran and got the nurse. It left me shaken for the rest of the day. The guy was okay, as far I know, because I saw him a week later with no visible injuries.
That sucks dude.
That sucks that you are having seizures. Just to set the record straight you CAN die from seizing. I am a paramedic and have seen it a few times, it's usually cardiac related though. Seizures can also cause hypoxia (lack of oxygen), you can aspirate (breathe into your lung) blood/vomit, spinal injuries from flopping around, fractures (i.e. The Fourth Kind), lacerations/contusions, and incontinence. I'm not an expert on seizures but if you have any questions feel free to ask!
When I read the title... I thought he was talking about loosing drugs, then I read his post and lol'd at his plight.
My little brother had very heavy seizures once. Almost one every day, and if not for the meds, they would be really heavy. It really killed his mood. It took years, but doctors eventually performed brain surgery (they woke him up halfway the operation to prod his brain and see what functions failed, so they could map it) removing a small tumour.
He never had a seizure since. He's very lucky.
Wait... your parents are on a date?
i have epilepsy, my first seizure was on christmas day of 2000. but i take meds to control it, bloody lucky its not a serious case.
but be prepared for testing, testing and more testing, i only recently had an MRI.
Good luck though, hope you pull through this.
I almost died several times from my epilepsy (a form of it never seen by the doctors before, it had no name so they called it 'complex febrile convulsions'), my meds somewhat cured it but I could easily trigger it again.
"Facepunch, where everyone is epileptic."
My friend has epilepsy.
Having to watch him have a seizure while all I can do is just leave him is msot probably the most horrifying thing I've ever seen.
I don't know anything about seizures but that sounds like a bitch. Take care of yourself dude.
