people are starving in africa!
You're stupid.
omg i have to pick up ice cream brb cutting myself blows my mind how seriously you people take the most meaningless little things. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised this whole subforum has proven itself even more retarded than GD.
I used to work at a drive thru a few years ago and people would pull shit like this all the time. I never reacted in a hostile way because most of them were just stupid kids doing stupid shit. But I do understand WHY the employees acted like that. They probably get kids doing this more than once a day and it's relatively aggravating when you make something for the customer and then they simply mess with you and what you made for them with no gratitude. Especially when the customer gets the stuff all over the employee's hands and they have to go and do thorough clean up of any mess that the pranksters made. So yeah, their anger is pretty justified. "Cone-ing" was amusing when it first came on the scene, but all it is is disrespect for the employees who are just trying to do their job and make getting your meal as quick and pleasant as possible. At least, that's what most employees try and do. I know my intention when I was working was to just get customers in and out with minimal complaints. I'm hoping the fad dies out soon. It's pretty rude and will only cause restaurants to take measures against it which will probably ruin something for normal customers who are only trying to get their food.
You're stupid.
so much anger
so much anger
You can stop now. You posted a topic which is debatable on a discussion forum and it will be debated about whether you like it or not. If you didn't want people to post their views on it, you shouldn't have posted it.
I had hoped FP would step above the level of stupidity seen in the comments of the same videos on youtube but I was wrong. Just a tad too optimistic. [editline]26th July 2011[/editline]

That happened to a friend of mine who was working with me one day. The guy ordered the largest size drink and then just rocketed it back into the drive thru and it hit her square in the face. She was only about 15 and she broke down sobbing because of it. I don't blame her. The managers sent her home as a way of apologizing. The dumbass who did it also forgot that his car was on park since we took a little while to get to his order so he didn't get away. Some employees ran out and stood in front of his car so he couldn't take off. Cops got involved and all that too. The guy deserved whatever he got. Compared to doing that, cone-ing isn't so bad. Still, both are unnecessary.
i cant comprehend someone crying over getting hit by a cup of cold soda
When a grown man throws a large cup full of soda at you for no apparent reason and it hits you in the face and you're a small girl who just started working there, I can understand why she did.
alright ive got nothin
I don't get it, why would you waste a lovely ice cream and get it all over yourself and your car?

It was funny the first time, now it's just dumb.. Also couldn't the employers get in real trouble for making a mess in the cars?
It was funny the first time, now it's just dumb.. Also couldn't the employers get in real trouble for making a mess in the cars?
This is what I was thinking, some weren't even near to touching the ice cream and the employee threw it into the car. Dear God I would be so fucking pissed. I would probably park my car right there and demand a manager to give me a refund, an apology, and have someone pay for cleaning up my car. If not, I would sue the fucking shit out of them. It's not right throwing shit into people's cars, even though the pranksters are dumasses, what if some person legitimately had their hand too high up to hold the ice cream and the employee threw it into the car thinking it was cone-ing? Seriously? They are asking for lawsuits by throwing stuff.
I want ice cream now.
My local fast food places put a plastic lid in the end of the cones.
1:14, *shakes head* no *walks off*
The employees throwing the ice cream in the car wasn't cool but I did find it a bit funny when the one guy smeared it on the guy in the car's face
i mean does it matter how they pick it up, it's not neccesary of throwing the cone at the customers, although some guy went cool on it
i cant comprehend someone crying over getting hit by a cup of cold soda
ITS FUCKING COLD. Does that fill that hole in your logic now?
i cant comprehend someone crying over getting hit by a cup of cold soda
I'm coo with that, but soda... Spilling all over my car... No.
people are starving in africa!
Fuck bread, meat, fruits and vegetables! Some poor fuck in Africa might not get his delicious soft served vanilla ice cream!
ITS FUCKING COLD. Does that fill that hole in your logic now?
Dropped on of those on the crotch one. Bad day.
As an ex fast food employee, I don't get what the problem is with this. I remember someone did this to me for the first time and I just stood there and laughed, if they want to get ice cream all over themselves then they can be my guest. What did piss me off however was that fire in the hole shit, where people would throw their food and drinks back at you. Once one of my cooworkers got so pissed when someone did it to him that he actually climbed out the drive thru window and chased the car through the parking lot.
alright ive got nothin
I've always wondered why moderators can't ban people for just being dumb.
Holy shit. I work in food service and if I ever acted like that to any customer no matter WHAT they did, I'd be out on my ass. Who gives a shit if someone wants to grab ice cream with their hand? Throwing it at them and swearing is completely out of line as a response.
Yeah but if it has happened to them on multiple occasions, it's pretty easy to understand why they would.
it's kind of a dick move when they just grab some of the ice cream and leaving employee with the rest of it
And it's a very unprofessional move (and a dick move; two wrongs don't make a right) to throw it at them and shout about it. It doesn't matter how much shit a customer gives you; you should never retaliate rudely.
