interesting. When you follow a path and win it asks you for said character and a picture. Thus anyone taking the same path (or similar) of questions will bring you closer to the same answer, it then selects the entry with the most matching answers. This means that the system will eventually work. Somebody beat him and added the person as an entry.

It will have a near match for something, if the next question fits its information, then it has it, otherwise it uses another branch or if another branch doesn't exist it will disregard some answers. Ultimately this is just a user-fueled database search.
