It's for people who don't drive the speed limit. Slower vehicles to the right (or left) and faster ones to the left (or right)...
that doesn't mean drive in the fast lane like a huge JERKOFF it's there for passing
Yes, why do we British drive on the left?
Because of how horseback worked in Great Britain. Most people were right handed.
You're only supposed to use that lane for passing others. Otherwise you have to be in the right lane by law. At least thats what the case is here in PA.
Yes, why do we British drive on the left?
because we can drive properly. and drive on the correct side of the road. and use roundabouts.
Lorries, or trucks. Anyone that say's Semi is just making things harder for themselves.
But "truck" has wider usage in North America; it's also used for pickup trucks and box trucks. A semi would in most cases be an 18-wheeler.
because we can drive properly. and drive on the correct side of the road. and use roundabouts.
What was that movie with the American guy that got stuck in a roundabout? Seriously roundabouts are easy though. I'm American but I want to drive a car with a right hand side steering wheel.
Lorries, or trucks. Anyone that say's Semi is just making things harder for themselves.
Why?
because we can drive properly. and drive on the correct side of the road. and use roundabouts.
The right side is right, the left side is wrong
because we can drive properly. and drive on the correct side of the road. and use roundabouts.
But it's bloody stupid. "HEY! LETS INCONVIENIENCE THE CAR INDUSTRY AND FORCE THEM TO MAKE OTHER COMPONENTS FOR CARS!!!"
I was wondering why this wasn't in Music, because Fast Lane or something is a song by The Prodigy.
The right side is right, the left side is wrong
Right you are.
The right side is right, the left side is wrong
whatever, the crazy colonials can drive however they want. we're still doing it right.
really? because i've never seen any doing that, ever. you always see them taking up both lanes with one in the outside lane going at 60 and one in the inside lane going at 61 squeezing past.
I see it quite often. We normally go around 85 to 90 mph, then a semi passes us up in the left lane. And not while going down a mountain.
But "truck" has wider usage in North America; it's also used for pickup trucks and box trucks. A semi would in most cases be an 18-wheeler.
A box truck is a Lorrie. Pickup Trucks, are what I call 4X4's, but they might not, but I still do. Why are they called 18-wheeler's? They only have 10. [editline]11:36PM[/editline]
whatever, the crazy colonials can drive however they want. we're still doing it right.
Cars are not Horses.
Why are they called 18-wheeler's? They only have 10.
You must have never seen an 18-wheeler in your life. All the wheels except for the front two are doubled. [editline]04:05PM[/editline] Don't mind the arrows.
It's for overtaking slow ass motherfuckers who DONT FUCKING KNOW NOT TO FUCKING EAT A MOTHERFUCKING BURGER WHILE ALSO AT THE SAME FUCKING TIME STEERING THE GODDAMN WHEEL AND SCREAMING AT THEIR MOTHERFUCKING CHILDREN IN THE MOTHERFUCKING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're a head strong young man.
Most people go 10-20 miles over the limit anyway while on a highway. I know i do. Yeah what the others said, it is for people who wish to overtake slower cars.
That sucks, do you have to turn round and go back again?
Cars are not Horses.
The first roads were made for horse and chariots, and the cars adapted to that. It's like that story of why the booster rockets on the space shuttle are a certain size, to preserve compatibility with the old standard, thing were kept the same way, so basically the size of the booster rockets are dictated by Roman horse and carts or something.
....life in the fast lane....
Bitch please I go 130au's an hour. Whoever rated me bad spelling doesn't know what an au is.
stop playing eve
That sucks, do you have to turn round and go back again?
I see what you did there :v:
some motherfuckers wont let me pass them when i'm driving a motorcycle, when i go to fast lane they just accelerate so i can't get past them :/
Its basically called a fast lane cause it's aways moving and you really don't need to slow down. On the highway the right lane is only used for exits so people will generally slow down and take the exit ramp. I do like passing people up in the right.(I live in the US)
some motherfuckers wont let me pass them when i'm driving a motorcycle, when i go to fast lane they just accelerate so i can't get past them :/
you need to accelerate more
....life in the fast lane....
Surely make you lose your mind Life in the fast lane, everything all the time Life in the fast lane, uh huh Blowin' and burnin', blinded by thirst They didn't see the stop sign, took a turn for the worse
Our Autobahns are one big fast lane.
More like a fast lane, a faster lane and a HOLY SHIT! lane.
It's because most exits are on the right, and you should be slowing down if you're getting off the freeway.
The first roads were dirt and made for walking.
No, they were called paths, and if they were main paths they were rocked.
That's 11 then.
there are 10 wheels on the truck (2 on front , 8 on back ) and 8 on the trailer.
