Eminem: What do you think about him? - General

I was watching Pirate Radio which is abou 60's rock'n'roll and in the credits they were showing iconic albums and Eminem's Encore was one and I was baffled.

While I'm not too much of a fan of rap in general I do like some of Eminems music for the whole reason a lot of it has very good flow is quite original. I'm cool with opinions and shit but at the very least backup what you say besides throwing in swear words. I get what you mean by the "yo home dog and swears" thing, but I have to argue that Eminems music is quite different from that. His songs aren't about gettin' bitches and money.

Probably cos I grew up with him, but he's the only rapper that I'm not embarrassed to like. He's pretty multi-talented.

To all those who are saying they think Dr. Dre is a talentless prick. You obviously dont know that modern rap was essentially created by the West Coast Vs. East Coast Feud in the 90's. That includes Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Lady of Rage etc etc. Eminem is talented in taking many elements from the older artists and creating his own shit. lrn2rap

He's pretty generic now. I can't stand the fact that he's featured on so many shit singles from like Little Wayne. His songs used to have a theme that made it actually interesting to listen to, now he just moves around a couple topics. He should just do a Hunter S Thompson and off himself.
