I mean actually usable, clicking buttons and stuff.
Yes it works too, let me find a pure flash application.
I have an N95 and it has tonnes of apps just like the iPhone. It has BBC iPlayer too.
The app store is awful because you have no option but to use it to install apps.
What's wrong with the app store?
The browser on the iphone/ipod is let down because of its lack of support. Sure you can go on youtube, but what about any other sites? BBC news videos etc?
iMobileCinema
I mean actually usable, clicking buttons and stuff.
Here, some dude made a image browser with using flash. It's a swf file that you open in your file browser. He's showing it on the 5800.
What's wrong with the app store?
It's the only way to install applications. You cannot use applications apple has not verified or they do not like.

Nerds stfu
Cydia Web apps
I don't think you understand. Cydia is not an official channel (we could go forever discussing what you can do with a hacked N97), and web apps don't work offline.
Nice, but can you actually run it in your browser too?
I don't know. Probably with some lag. I've played fl0w and Winterbell with my phone browser and it went pretty slow, especially fl0w. But Winterbell was playable.
In most cases I would say get the HTC diamond http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-Diamond-Windows-Mobile-Touchscreen/dp/B0021L95FW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1250790497&sr=8-1 But in this case I have to say iPhone 3GS. It has rolando.
Why do you care about the price of the phone without a contract? It doesn't really matter, does it? The iPhone 3G 8GB costs 99€ with a contract (here at least)

iPhone is about as powerful as a PSP but it's also a phone, touch screen, and has internet pretty much everywhere nuff said
gosh the iphone is just so ugly
Well, I'm no Apple fan. But if you are going to play some games and shit then go for the Iphone. I don't think the n97 have done any well on mobile bench tests.
My iPhone 3G (not S) freezes over on games. Won't the N97 be faster and more reliable? I heard they got Quake 2 running on it. And it has physical keyboard which is good for FPS.
I have a 3G, and in my opinion, you should really go for an iPhone. It has the most accurate touch screen I've ever used.
Nokia products are more durable. God the countless times i've dropped my phone down the stairs...
You're kidding, right? How is the App Store "bullshit"? I know most of the apps aren't exactly fucking beautiful, but you have an amazing amount of big companies, such as nameco and EA creating iPhone divisions. Not only that, but there are TONS of individual developers that are creating unbelievable applications. Not only games, but applications for things that prove actually useful. You don't HAVE to use the App Store either. To develop for the N97, you need to know..wait, what the hell? Seriously? It's like the Palm Pre. Java Web Runtime. I'm not even going to comment, that's fucking hilarious. Jailbreaking is quite the useful tool. Except I RARELY use Cydia or anything besides a theme or two. Want customization? Take off 3 minutes off your life (oh wait) and just do it. Ah, Flash. Good times. I don't understand why everyone cares about it so much on a PHONE though. Really, the only thing I'd use Flash on my phone for is probably Youtube. BUT WAIT! I have a Youtube app, who the hell needs flash. I'd understand why you want it on your phone, because you don't have a youtube application, but if you want it for any other reason it's bullshit. Good luck playing a flash game on your phone. As for your hardware QWERTY keyboard, meh. I got used to the touch keyboard almost immediately on my iPhone. :\ Now you're probably thinking, "LOLiFANBOY" (lolol, loli fanboy), but I'm not. Well, I sort of am, but I actually try out the competition before mindlessly attacking the phone. I dearly want a Palm Pre and a Hero, so bad. JESUS CHRIST THE PRICE ON THAT THING IS HORRIBLE. Go for the iPhone 3GS.
sorry, where did you try out an N97?
Nokia products are more durable. God the countless times i've dropped my phone down the stairs...
I've had my first gen iPod Touch since launch and I've done more harmful things to it than any mobile device I've ever owned (mostly because I've used it more than any mobile device I've ever owned), and it's still ticking perfectly. There isn't a single scratch on the screen, fuck I love glass. If the iPhone build quality is the same, which it is because they're practically the same exact device, then it's probably more durable than anything else on the market at the moment.

iPhone. I have it and love it.

I don't believe all those people who complain about the need to commercialize every extra feature, the restrictive denial of promising apps when reviewed, etc. You thought Micro$oft was bad? Apple is just the same.

So that's one plus to the Iphone, that have PowerVR MBX-Lite GPU core.
iPhone. I have an iPod touch, and I love the amount of applications that are available for it, and if that doesn't suit your fancy, you can always jailbreak. I'm saving up my money for an iPhone right now. I just really want to try out the geocaching application.
One thing I would say, is that the "Flash Player" Nokia boasts about having on it's products isn't anywhere near full featured. It's better than the Apple one, and most others, but it still isn't what it should be. That said, I own the 5800, and if the N97 is even as good as that, it's well worth it. Go for it.
all about the iPhone
Al these posts are: iPhone. I have no opinion. I only speak facts.
I've got an iPhone and it rocks. I can't see me ever moving to a non touchscreen phone now.
Garry is my best friend. We're iPhone bros now.
