Soundtrack was pretty good tho
i think you mean to say that bjork is good. and she just happened to feature in a bad movie
I think Affleck made a good Bruce Wayne, but I still found his Batman rather boring and lacking. He looked the part and sounded the part for Bruce, but not Batman. [editline]28th March 2016[/editline]
[sp]Also the hints to the Injustice storyline are as red herring as it gets. They've got a whole bunch of films to go before that would be possible and by then they'll hope people forget or worse, they just stop making movies.[/sp]
Honestly, that was one of my favorite parts and I'd love to see them properly do something with it. [sp]A proper Injustice movie that Zack Snyder has no involvement in would probably be really good. That scene confused me at first though because I was like, "Mad Max Batman? Cool, but why?"[/sp]
I guess they'll recycle the Injustice storyline into [sp]Superman allying with Darkseid somehow, seeing as his soldiers are helping out Superman in the dream sequence.[/sp]

It's a dream that turns out to be a vision that turns out to be a warning from Flash that turns out to be Batman sleeping at his computer. It's fucking stupid and badly put together, seems like they saw the similar scene in Age of Ultron and just tried to copy it with no actual thought put behind it.[/sp]

So basically, yeah, it was rewritten to tease JLA[/sp]

From my original comment, The movie could have been good if it was Batman V Superman and not mixed with five main plots, regurgitated backstories, actual interaction between characters, and a non-shitty lex luther. It was really fun at certain parts but took wild spins and the plot became very loosely connected; I almost felt as if Zack Snyder hit a deadline and just had a montage of a bunch of clips to put together. Bad - Plot Focus, Continuity, Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg fucking SUCKED should have been FLEX LUTHER not some skinny shit nerd) Good? - [sp]Dream Sequences were cool, but too long; disconnected from the plot[/sp], [sp] Justice League revealed, best part imo[/sp], [sp] Angry Batman finally turning more chaotic good [/sp] Explanation of Batman's involvement in [sp] General Zod v Superman[/sp] and connecting those plotlines. Movie just suffered from being cluttered in the end. 2muchShit4Me. Also, I wish they could start doing what Marvel does and keep continuous with their actors. [sp] Excluding QuickCheekiBreeki Silver[/sp]
It's an absolutely fucking terrible way to end a fight they literally built up the entire movie on. Like sure bringing it up in a conversation and having batman go "wow the fucking alien god from the sky has parents too" would have been fine as part of character development but here it's the fucking magic word that turns a homicidal maniac into superman's best friend in a matter of seconds.

After Superman consistently acts like an asshole and the majority of the movies is meant ot build up this hatred Batman is supposed to forgive him over something as stupid as that? Along with the fact that Batman had no issue killing a shit ton of other people it's a bullshit attempt at depth. Why spend a whole movie on this rivalry just to autocorrect it in a matter of seconds? Oh right because having meaningful events that cause permanent changes is ~too smart~ for audiences. I never said it was the worst thing ever but it is prime evidence along with everything else in the movie that this was a careless endeavor.
Yeah I don't think the problem is inherently that scene, it's just that in the context of the movie it serves as an awkward fulcrum between a long setup that was establishing tension between the two characters, particularly on Batmans side with horrifying dream sequences and absolute necessities and ends justifying the means and, then they want to do the big fight scene where Superman and Batman have to be friends now and it happens in like 30 seconds so they can get to the big dumb Rick Snyder action scene in various uninhabited places where Superman isn't responsible for the deaths of thousands like he was in the Man of Steel. I still really like Batmans Affleck and I'm optimistic for the Wonder Woman film but they really just do not seem to know what to do with Superman and Eisenberg's Luthor was a mess. The RLM review where they mention him at the very end after 40 minutes of tearing the movie apart only to say that they would need another hour just for that character is so true.
