Really cool taking things out of context.

its in context
the OP is a self righteous dork who thinks his age means he can rob kids and claim they attacked him
They would thank him in the future when they get some brains. Seriously, they would regret smoking in the future, my dad started smoking at the age of 10 and he regrets it(he has quit)
I support the OP 100%, nothing can make me change my mind.
Yeah smoking is bad, but it doesn't give him the justification to steal and assault a bunch of kids.
Just like I don't support stealing cheeseburgers, alcohol, twilight films, or incense sticks from people and then shoving the people to the ground after they got pissed for you stealing and destroying their property they are in completely legal possession
Even though the person will fucking regret watching twilight.
Yeah smoking is bad, but it doesn't make him justificated to steal and assault.

They couldnt have gotten the cigarettes legaly either.
1. They stole from their parents/siblings/the store.
2. They had someone to buy it for them.
its like those people who burn down abortion clinics with the doctors in them
its in context
the OP is a self righteous dork who thinks his age means he can rob kids and claim they attacked him
He didnt rob them because the kids couldnt have gotten the cigaretts legaly.
Isn't someone entitled to defend themselves when they're being punched?
sure, but if you start the confrontation, you aren't the good guy in it.
I am happy you did that, but you have to remember, it isn't just todays youth. Back like 50 years ago, 12-14yo were smoking then too. Nothing has changed.
its like those people who burn down abortion clinics with the doctors in them
I dont really see how you can link Anti-Abortion Pyromaniacs with the OP.
He didnt rob them because the kids couldnt have gotten the cigaretts legaly.
committing a crime to stop someone else from committing a crime doesn't make anything better
I am happy you did that, but you have to remember, it isn't just todays youth. Back like 50 years ago, 12-14yo were smoking then too. Nothing has changed.
You would think people would learn from all the studys etcetera. and the chances of lung cancer is even bigger.
You showed them up for sure but I reckon it won't really make a difference.
committing a crime to stop someone else from committing a crime doesn't make anything better
2 Robbers are running out of the store, I stop them and it doesnt make anything better?
Your logic fails.
OP's behaviour was unjustified and irrational. Self-righteousness and an over-developed sense of justice are not good things.
I dont really see how you can link Anti-Abortion Pyromaniacs with the OP.
the logic of the anti-abortionists boils down to "i dont like what these people are doing im going to do something illegal to prove a point"
the logic of the OP boils down to "i dont like what these people are doing im going to do something illegal to prove a point"
It isn't AS severe but it still is a valid comparison
There is no way this would be considered self defense. sd only applies if you saved yourself from an imminent threat against your physical health with the least harm done to the other party. If someone slaps your face (like woman use to do), theres no self defense.
They couldnt have gotten the cigarettes legaly either.
1. They stole from their parents/siblings/the store.
2. They had someone to buy it for them.
That doesn't really matter, as they were in the legal possession of the cigarettes.

Atleast what the OP did maybe changed their perspective of things?
I highly doubt burning down abortion clinics would change the doctors mind. (Im for abortions)
You would think people would learn from all the studys etcetera. and the chances of lung cancer is even bigger.
"By watching this Twilight-film you risk of getting very stupid, and you can cut yourself in this packaging, so I'll just take this and break it"
They couldnt have gotten the cigarettes legaly either.
1. They stole from their parents/siblings/the store.
2. They had someone to buy it for them.
Which raises another question, if someone did indeed buy the pack for them. Who in the right mind would buy them for kids?
Just the notion of that sickens me. For the record, I also think the OP is a self-righteous dick, for deliberately picking a fight
with little kids. That's basically what he did.
Atleast what the OP did maybe changed their perspective of things?

what the OP did changed nothing, those kids are going to keep smoking and there isnt a damn thing he can do about it
That doesn't really matter, as they were in the legal possession of the cigarettes.
Stealing doesnt mean that they have it in legal posession? They couldnt have gotten them legally.
Atleast what the OP did maybe changed their perspective of things?

all it would do is make them resent authority figures even more
what the OP did changed nothing, those kids are going to keep smoking and there isnt a damn thing he can do about it
You cant really know that.

"Oh man, this guy just took my possessions, destroyed them, and shove me to the ground. Oh jolly, I now understand the harms of cigarettes, and will continue to study even harder!"
You cant really know that.
its human nature to disobey people, especially when you're a 12 year old being confronted by a self righteous guy like OP here
all it would do is make them resent authority figures even more
Ive gotten some kids to quit smoking.
The way I see it is that the OP is more than likely an angry nerd that cant wear clothes that fit and Im sure he also has an unattractive mop of stringy hair plopped on top of his funny shaped head, OP, Im your worst nightmare. His unsightly appearance means he doesn't get any attention from girls and he is probably weird and anti-social IRL. Honestly OP, if you had the audacity to say something like that to me or someone I knew, I would probably blow a gasket and verbally destroy you. It's not in your moral compass to express your distaste of cigarette smokers by lashing out at underage smokers.
Stealing doesnt mean that they have it in legal posession? They couldnt have gotten them legally.
If person X buys the cigarettes and gives them to the underaged kids Z, he breaks the law. And might get fined if the police has a bad day.
The kids Z however own the cigarettes after the transaction, and are protected by law against random idiots taking the cigarettes of them. Even the police can't take them.
