Yes ultimately the pro-GG people are right because corruption isn't okay but as it stands now their entire behavior and line of conduct outside of this very simple observation they made is idiotic and asinine.
Behavior such as?
I will never be able to wrap my head around the amount of drama that surrounds this woman.
You fucks couldn't let it die, could you?
The amount of energy people waste on this cunt is fucking staggering.

no one in GG has cared about her for almost a year if not a year
she, and the AGG crowd insert themselves into drama
A certain user on FP gives her money. Best to ask her.
However apparently she gets harassed and thus deserves money.
How about let's not ask a pedophilia enthusiast and let ideologues lie.

People like Zoe Quinn or Brianna Wu don't deserve the money that they get now. Your basically funding horrible people for no reason.
This whole thing sounds like some sort of cult, where you donate money for a good standing or some other weird shit.
Since the consensus here is that the best solution is to ignore this person because perpetuating putting them in the spotlight is bad, I want to try something.
Why not have a positive derailing into focusing on people supporting the other side of the debate, who deserve the publicity and time of discussion?
Maybe people like Milo Yiannopolous, or Christina H Sommers?
I'd like to know more people's opinions of these two figures, since I've almost never seen criticism or discussion of them here. Which is a shame because if you ever watch them debate they bring up very interesting points and discussions.

A while ago we were having fun trash talking Milo (Well, I was at any rate). C.H. Sommers seems like a pretty reasonable person however.
I want to see some of Sommers stuff that isn't just criticism of third wave feminism. I'm still waiting for a feminist that does what Anita is trying to do (examining games from a feminist perspective) but who actually does a good job of it.
I don't care honestly, hitler has movies.

I don't really understand the need or desire for this?
It's kind of like wanting a review on fast food restraunts from a vegan perspective.
Some vegan's wouldn't mind because there are vegan food options available, they would give a review like an average person would, and gather no public interest. Others would decry the fact that they don't enforce a strict vegan diet, and gather a large following from more radical vegans. Either you're going to get an average person's review, or a radicals, I can't understand why people want this to be an issue?
I have to admit it's one of the biggest successes of popular feminism that they can just keep making issues out of things that aren't really problems, and once they've got enough people repeating it they try to demand the governing body do something to fix it, regardless of whether it's an actual issue or not. They're not interested in making positive changes anymore because they've run out of reasonable demands, now they're just trying to stay relevant. Doing which requires them to target a group as a problem (in this case games/gamers) so as to perpetuate debate.
If they want to enforce equality tell them to bring back the Equal Rights Amendment that feminists have killed repeatedly out of fear of losing special protections for women that men don't have. Why is the ERA no longer an issue? HOW IS PERCEIVED SEXISM IN VIDEO GAMES (but not in literature or theatrical genres??) A BIGGER ISSUE THAN DEMANDING AN AMENDMENT TO ENFORCE EQUALITY?
I don't understand this.

Well if you can't find any you have to manufacture controversy for those sweet patreon bucks!
suprised that asteroidrules has been quite quiet
I don't really understand the need or desire for this?
Because being critical of the media from many points of view is totally an obscure and impossible to grasp concept right?
People would like to see it because it doesn't hurt having people analyse and criticise the media we consume from points of view you may not consider. Why do you listen to or read the output of any other reviewers or culture critics after all?
It's not "making an issue out of nothing". It's doing what we've done for our creations time and time again. Are there a small group of assclowns going out of their way to make controversy where there wouldn't be otherwise? Totally, on all sides these muppets exist. But it doesn't invalidate the want or need to actual serious critique.

If you stop assuming that all feminists want to ban your video games or whatever asinine thoughts you're holding, and instead actually see it for what it is; a really aggravating splinter group of the generic Feminist movement making a shitload of noise, you might be able to actually use the Internet without ending up in a frothing rage every so often.

I think asteroidrules is at the point of if he sticks his head in a thread concerning anything near GG, he's gonna get perma'd like Max.

???
I don't assume that all feminists want to ban video games, far from it. The problem is that the only ones that will gain a large following and media attention are the ones that are unfairly critical in their "reviews". There are plenty of ways to be critical of media, radical opinions on video games have existed from almost every angle believable since their conception, and last I checked I didn't need specifically feminism to do my thinking for me.
And to be honest the kind of reviews your claiming you want actually exist, but Anita Sarkesian is (or was) 90% of the results for "feminist review video games", But because the alternatives are not saying anything radical they'll never gain national media attention.

There's no way that would happen. No matter how reasonable that woman could be, a women examining games through feminist lenses would catch all kinds of bullshit the minute she calls herself a feminist

Liana K is pretty good at it, I think somebody posted a video of her's earlier in the thread.
I only suggest the RationalWiki post because to me it gives a pretty clear picture on what's going on, more than any other source would.
Want to know what would give you a better idea of what's going on? The subreddit or the tweets themselves (which you can easily find through KotakuInAction or GamerGhazi with their ridiculous "GOTCHA" moments).

But wouldn't you already do that by just doing a review?
You can just as well do other points of view in a normal review. Doing a feminist review would seem really biased

It's called perspective
Someone can look at a movie from a more intellectual perspective
You can look at a movie like To Kill a Mockingbird from a racial perspective
What about a movie like Saving Private Ryan from a WWII Veteran's perspective
or a Christian's perspective
or an Atheist's perspective
People want to examine things in different lights that mean something to them rather than just do a generic review

I'm not sure if I can take anyone's thought seriously when they say things like this
You realize he writes those articles just to fuck with people who take themselves too seriously right? Also because it's hilarious, what's wrong with a sense of humor?
Here, If you were offended by that one i think you'll find this one much more triggering: http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/11/10/i-am-so-done-with-the-trans-outrage-brigade-why-im-supporting-drop-the-t/
