Source please. These are literally only for pilots. They're not good for looking at any sort of distant object.
I can't find a source. Wiki just says [citation needed].
The dog dies.
Except for MW2 where you go to Rio de Janeiro and fight South Americans, or how the main villain in Black Ops 2 was South American.
You should know how the hatetrain for the franchise works by now; if there's something good, people will be begrudging about it, but if there's something bad or overused, they'll overexaggerate the issue(s) until it's the only damn thing you hear. That's not to say the Call of Duty series is flawless by any stretch of the imagination, and I do disagree with Activision's business practices, but yeah.
Except for MW2 where you go to Rio de Janeiro and fight South Americans
For all of two levels; Russians were the main force in MW2.
or how the main villain in Black Ops 2 was South American.
Nicaragua but you fought Chinese troops and PMC's most of the time.
CoD single players are normally OK, They know how to make fun and entertaining set pieces to gawk at and that goes way back to CoD1, they also know how to show it off in an impressive trailer so i really don't get the surprise here.
The dog dies.
Will you be able to eat it? Considering how Activision/Infinity Ward whores it out, it might as well be a love interest.
"Left us open for a full scale invasion...again" [editline]11th September 2013[/editline]
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/12/Night_vision_goggles_experimental.jpg[/t] The dudes who went after bin Laden (might have) had them.
They were in Zero Dark Thirty yeah Though as you guys said, doubt they actually used em'.
didn't anyone notice there was a huge gunfight in fucking outer space
didn't anyone notice there was a huge gunfight in fucking outer space
guns work in outer space there was a space level planned for mw2 but it was scrapped what's the problem
Looks pretty cool, the campaigns for all of the COD games are worth playing but definitely not worth the price IMO
This is CoD, you're way overthinking it. They ran out of ideas how to include the Russians to the game, and thus they went looking south for someone else, and chose the most powerful country there. That's it. Next come the Chinese.
The guy doing the story is Stephen Gaghan, so we might get something better.
At least the music is better than Battlefield 4.
I was hoping they were going to tone it down a notch with the explosions and everything crashing so that the moments where crazy stuff does happen stand out more. Since it was a trailer it's not going to show much of the actual pacing in the game. Did the dog just kill a helicopter?
We should of listened to Nigel Farage!!! /s
Did the dog just kill a helicopter?
"Riley, fetch that helicopter" "Bark bark" (Roger that sir, these tangos are going down ASAP)
If you told me this was running on the old engine I would believe you.
How are they going to justify regenerating health in a spacesuit?
How are they going to justify regenerating health in a spacesuit?
Either the same way they justify all regenerating health - that is, no justification at all - or that section may be like the infamous part from the first Black Ops, where you have the gas mask and it cracks and eventually breaks after a certain threshold of damage, killing you instantly. I really hated that section.
A really cool way to do it is if you get shot once it's game over but the same for the enemies.
They lost me when they were shooting in space. They look like retards.
They lost me when they were shooting in space. They look like retards.
They're running out of ways to 1up themselves and it's past ridiculous.
Source please. These are literally only for pilots. They're not good for looking at any sort of distant object.
Well the SEAL who wrote No Easy Day (About the raid on Bin Laden's compound) said they used them so. He also said they were something like 20K a pair. [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] Regardless our military has some weird ass headgear. If shit like this exists: I think quad night vision is plausible.
I like how you can still hear gun sounds in the trailer that haven't changed since probably Call of duty 2
lol they literally change every game there was even an interview about it
i wish i could say something really funny about the trailer and be part of some sort of hate bandwagon, or at least say something profound but it just looks boring
The trailer looked good (CoD trailers always do) but that line was so creepily jingoistic it kind of ruined the last part of it.
I thought it was going to be along the lines of one of the old quotes "You may be willing to die for your country but are you willing to kill for it?", but that whole give your son's life just makes the character sound like a nutter.
Well the SEAL who wrote No Easy Day (About the raid on Bin Laden's compound) said they used them so. He also said they were something like 20K a pair. More than that, GPNVG18's are about $40,000 a piece currently. They used to cost even more than that, like around $60,000 when they were first introduced. Navy Seals during the Osama raid did infact wear them. Plenty of pilots doing high profile night missions are issued them as well. DEVGRU and CAG are probably still issued them depending on the mission. They're literally the same concept as a regular NOD like a PVS14 but since there are four tubes the field of view is enlarged. It helps eliminate tunnel vision and enhance depth perception. [t]http://tnvc.com/shop/images/80727/?320,320,0,100,80,-807296233[/t] The top is a typical NOD and the bottoms are NVG18's They're definitely real, have been and are still used in real world circumstances and if you have $40,000 you can buy a pair offline.
So, like, are you even part of a military force in this or what? It seems like you're part of a small independent group that just goes around fucking stuff up more than anything. Kinda nice to see IW try something in the future, though it's probably not far enough into the future for really cool shit to show up other than the satellite-jacking shuttle used.

Just a shot in the dark on that, though.
I'm afraid I'm going to buy this one. First, it's obligatory that I buy every CoD game, for me it's like a long going tradition since first CoD, to waste money and brain cells playing its multiplayer. Second, I have a feeling this might catch up to CoD:UO in its total craziness over everything every 10 seconds of gameplay, and I like crazy scenes, even though they're uninteractive. Though "enemy from south of the equator" sounds borderline idiotic. Are they that scared of American civil war or anything of that kind? Down with fucking invasions everywhere, it's boring and stale.
They lost me when they were shooting in space. They look like retards.
Wouldn't that propell them backwards btw?
this seems way more interesting than black ops 2 seemed semi-post-apoc calladoot
