I know, I've been trying a few shading techniques out lately, that;s probably my best attempt :P
I just started painting in paint :)

Oh... My... Fucking.... Shitheaded potato nugget...
What's up with the green spray shizz?
That looks horrible, sorry.
I know. But I couldn't think of any other way to draw the shroud in front of the planet horizon. If I were to draw a "black body" representation of the aurora and paste it on top of the horizon, it would have a thick black outline all over it. The only way to have transparency around the aurora is to use the horrible spray tool. :(
I like it V:v:V
Very interesting picture :D ... the attention to such minor details as the things that they've put aside when they're at the controlls is nice :)
I like the sticky notes. The planet does look really weird, though. And because everything is a silhouette, it looks like the stars just disappear in some spots. Of course, the latter is probably just me, but meh.
You should have just left out all of the green spray.
Google on the console. :v:
Google on the console. :v:
Aha, you noticed. :D What would Earth be without the internets? This is yet again one of the pictures that I've done that has had the original idea, that had to be chaged to a secondary priority because of the limitations of MS Paint. The Aurora borealis was the PRIMARY point of the original plan for the picture. And it seems to be impossible to make it with Paint. I've been defeated. :| I'm out of ideas. Here's the pic without the horrible aurora, and flying upside down. Although now you can see the badly done clouds and stuff. I always try to draw too fast when I make large pics so some details en up looking very bad. Others end up looking bad simply because there's no way to make them look good. Stop posting things! It makes me look like shit! :gonk:
ha-HAH! ... you said shit

Chunky arms :v:
Actually Plutonia, how are the people standing like that? There's no gravity.
Slightly magnetic boots or bootstraps on the floor. At least, that's how it works now in ISS for example. Of course, artificial gravity may as well be a solution.
Actually Plutonia, how are the people standing like that? There's no gravity.
Well the Jabberwocky uses space contraction/expansion for interplanetary travel, so artificial gravity isn't really that weird a concept. :) Plus it's a game afterall, and constant zero-g isn't good gameplay.
You never cease to amaze, Plutonia. I've given you the honor of making that my desktop background. :haw:
Plus it's a game afterall, and constant zero-g isn't good gameplay.
Shattered Horizon would beg to differ.
Shattered Horizon would beg to differ.
Yes, but we want to make varied gameplay. Something that's interesting.
Most of these are very impressive, especially the one with the airship looking on earth, the "green stuff" looks really effective, as if its the northern lights in space :)

Aurora is also known as "Northern light". In space you can see them much, much more clearly. There should be some pics taken from ISS and such of the auroras, search the web if you want to find them.

What part of Valve's gunship design did TRASE copy from Plutonia?
