Repo Men - I enjoyed this alot, it is a very good weird-sci-fi film. 8/10
Zack Snyder seems to be very "hit and miss".
When he makes a good movie, it's REALLY good. (Example: Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen)
But when he fucks up ( SUCKER PUNCH , 300), it's a goddamn disaster.
I think that Zach Snyder is just a really, really dumb person. And whenever he has anything to do with the film's plot, he fucks it up exponentially.
That is such a cheap method to add some emotion to the scene, I bet you love Zack Snyder's films.
So because my opinion differs from yours, I'm trolling?
The first transformers movie was ok, I think the second was better though. Still haven't seen the third but my friend says it's pretty good, so I'll have to get around to seeing it.
Just finished watching Monsters then, the CGI was pretty bad and the chemistry between the characters didn't feel right. Little thought was put into the monster design in my opinion and the ending felt premature. All up I'll give it a 6/10.
EDIT: forgot to mention the parts where they had the actors talking when they weren't in shot, their voices often sounded too loud and unnatural.
Did anyone else think the main girl was the one who took the passports so she could prolong her time away from her fiance?
You think the CGI in Monsters is bad? get out, just get the fuck out and never come back.
silly quick question
Goodfellas, a meh or a Go-fucking-watch-it?
You think the CGI in Monsters is bad? get out, just get the fuck out and never come back.
monsters is a bad movie what does it matter if the cgi is good or not
it's a tool to tell a story
and in that case a dumb story with bad acting

what planet are you from?
The Thing (1982) - 8/10
Very decent horror.
Jeepers Creepers - 6.5/10
Watched it for the first time today. The beginning was very promising, but when the movie started moving towards the end, it became a bit silly and sometimes even ridiculous.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly 8/10
Very good movie, but I still liked A Fistful of Dollars more. It does get such high ratings everywhere else though. I don't know. Maybe I remember Fistful being better than it actually was, or I had such high expectations for this one it spoiled the movie for me. Or maybe it was just my dog freaking out whenever he saw a horse on the screen. Whatever.
Beyond the Sea
9/10
The Adjustment Bureau - blah blah blah boring hollywood movie 3/10
monsters is a bad movie
No it isn't, I thought it was very good for what it was.
Battle L.A. is probably more your style though.

It's good, but I wouldn't say it's great.
I'd give it a 7/10. It felt a little long winded.
Goodfellas long winded and a 7/10, holy shit you're hilarious.
Anyways, The Touch of Evil (1958)
9/10. Pretty awesome film noir by Orson Welles, a lot of impressive shots for the time.
Red Faction Origins 7/10
Was a lot better than the shitfest that was Ferocious Planet with Joe Flanigan.
Quarantine 2: Terminal.
Sucked for movie quality. I like the quarantine series though, so I give it a semi good grade. 5/10

I was considering watching that (Ferocious Planet) since it's on Netflix.
My Idiot Brother 8/10.
Pretty cute movie.
X-Men: First Class - 8.5 / 10
Most solid X-Men film to date, good pacing, excellent action, story was decent and it was neat seeing how things were set up for the later films. Loved the [sp]Wolverine cameo[/sp]. Lots of fun, definite must see if you're into the other X-Men films or just comicbooks in general.
Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai - 8/10
Nice film, kinda sad ending. Some good music in there aswell.
Kung Fu Panda 2 because it was $1 tonight - 5/10
30 Minutes or Less - 6.5/10
Some parts were funny, but overall it's very predictable and boring.
What should I watch tonight, From Dusk Till Dawn or Priest?
Both.

monsters was a bad film
battle la was an even worse film
[editline]7th September 2011[/editline]
Monsters was bad because the plot and character behavior was so ridiculously unbelievable. Hey I gotta go somewhere, OH I KNOW LET'S TRAVEL THROUGH A JUNGLE FILLED WITH ALIENS AND HEAVILY RISK DEATH. OH AND WHILE WE'RE THERE LETS ACT SUPER CALM MOST OF THE TIME AS IF WE'RE NEVER IN ANY LIFE THREATENING DANGER. Basically the two main characters were morons and didn't act in a way you'd reasonably expect an actual person to. It was a dumb movie.
The Notebook - I was not expecting to love this. Although there was a lot I didn't like about it, so I'm kinda having mixed feelings. The last act picked it up a lot (plus I'm a fan of Gena Rowlands and the directors father, John Cassavetes) 6.5/10
From Dusk Till Dawn - amazing movie. great acting and lines throughout. George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino shine amazingly in this vampire bank robbery titty twister. 9/10
Catch me if you can.
Great movie!
9.5/10
Goodfellas 9/10 hahah im such a cunt
Blair Witch Project, 2/10..
It was so god awful even though I've heard so many good things about it.
Source Code
9/10
Fucking brilliant.
