Okay you haven't even seen the movie but you assume it's lame because it had action figures? If you look hard enough, you can find action figures for any movie. Case in point So I guess that makes Terminator 2 lame?
That's a terrible example. Of course T2 had action figures.
What are you even harping at? I am lost.
Why are you confused at something that isn't directed at you?
Red State - 8,5/10 Sursiously this movie is fucking awesome.
That's a terrible example. Of course T2 had action figures.
Yeah but everything has action figures. You name it, action figures. It's absolutely no reason to judge a film. [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] I fail to see how it's any worse an example than Leon having action figures. [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] Go to any pop culture/nerd/cult store, toys of even the most obscure films
Because some people watch films for other than the plot, acting, drama and more of the eye candy when I was younger I used to love watching Saving Private Ryan because it showed action and had I little care for the plot, just like Heat, I loved the gun fights but I thought it dragged it on about shit. But now I like films for more than the CGI and action and instead I like films for immersion, plot, acting etc. now I realize that Heat was more than just the gun fights and that Saving Private Ryan was more than just killing Germans.
Anyone watched Dead Snow?
0/10 Hall Pass SOMEONE FUCKING KILL ME PLEASE [editline]13th September 2011[/editline] Oh, did I mention I was FORCED TO WATCH FUCKING ZOOKEEPER WITH MY FRIENDS?
Fight Club. Again. 12/10 One of my 2 top favorite movies, no doubt...

He's got his head so stuck in his asshole he forgot not everyone thinks the same of movies he considers shitty. Also, i am looking for cyberpunk movies. Specifically shitty ones noone likes but that are actually pretty good.

It doesn't even seem like his post is directed at me, he's reinforcing what I always say, that movies cannot ride on action alone. [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] Unless you're 12 [editline]14th September 2011[/editline]
Also, i am looking for cyberpunk movies. But hey, Suckerpunch is universally considered shitty by anyone with an IQ over 40 and you loved that, so go nuts!
Also, i am looking for cyberpunk movies. Specifically shitty ones noone likes but that are actually pretty good.
if it's shitty and noone likes it, how is anyone going to recommend it to you as being pretty good?
The Help 7.5/10 It was good, but it seems like some shit that could have been further explored without derailing the film too much was just ignored
The Help 7.5/10 It was good, but it seems like some shit that could have been further explored without derailing the film too much was just ignored
It seems like that kind of movie has been done to death, and at this point any new ones only serve as a kind of blaxploitation film made only so all those involved come out smelling like roses.
Well that's because this kind of movie has been done to death. I didn't expect it to bring anything new to the table, but it was still an enjoyable film.
It has black people in it, and their struggle please give me an oscar? i want some black friends - director
Anyone watched Dead Snow?
ye it owns
if it's shitty and noone likes it, how is anyone going to recommend it to you as being pretty good?
Maybe he means it in a "The Room" way, it's shit, but comedic genius at the same time! @topic Halloween Resurrection 3 / 10 Some of the deaths were pretty good but near the end it's just a mockery.
if it's shitty and noone likes it, how is anyone going to recommend it to you as being pretty good?
Just using terms Rusty understands.
Anyone watched Dead Snow?
Yeah, its boring piece of shit with terrible characters and a complete lack of Nazi Zombies for most of the movie. anyone who disagree's has terrible taste, sorry.
I wanna see Rusty on a Siskel and Ebert like movie review show with another guy. Leonard Maltin?
Rusty and Gerome review show, that I would gladly watch.
Yeah, its boring piece of shit with terrible characters and a complete lack of Nazi Zombies for most of the movie.
I enjoyed it. Reminded me of Shaun of the Dead.
Apollo 18 - 10/10
What does rusty think about Super 8?
I watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, American History X and Limitless, all for the first time yesterday, it was a good afternoon. 10/10
All great movies exept limitless
Limitless was fantastic up until the very end
Vampires Suck - 3/10 Nowhere near as bad as previous spoof films, but still stupid as hell.
I enjoyed it. Reminded me of Shaun of the Dead.
NOPE NOPE NOPE not even the same.
What does rusty think about Super 8?
he'd give it an "it was ok" on the Rusty scale.
