Watching the Back To The Future movies for the first time with my little sister. (Well, first time for her, anyway. I still haven't seen Part III.)
Back To The Future: 9/10
Back To The Future Part II: 8.5/10
dude where's your childhood
Part III is pretty disappointing. It's not necessarily bad but it doesn't have the same spark that I and II do
The Departed 10/10
Still my most favorite film of all time. Never ceases to amaze me.
Cool, now go watch Infernal Affairs, The Departed is a remake of it.

It rules fyi.
just in the middle of watching my dinner with Andre, so far I'm really enjoying it
Cowboys & Aliens (2011)
It was enjoyable. Some nice eyecandy and decent writing.
Wish it took itself less seriously though.
6.5/10
I also saw Friends with benefits, i'll go ahead and give it a 9/10
The plot is somewhat predictable but the message is quite beautiful, sometimes relationships end because it's all just love and no friendship
To trully love someone you have to be their best friend too! Don't confuse the so called friend-zone, has nothing to do with it

Best movie I've seen lately. This follows a few stories about the drug trade in a raw level-headed approach and the stuff it says about the war on drugs is very true.

I love that movie. In case you haven't heard about it, it's exactly what it says on the tin. It's two guys having an intelligent discussion over a dinner. Don't be so put off by that description because their conversation is brilliant and really entertaining to listen to.
Saw "Drive" with my buddy last week. 9/10 most definitely. Flowed very well from start to finish and had some of the most bad-ass moments (Ryan Gosling) I've seen recently.
Just saw this.
Excellent flick, easily one of the best of this year so far.

Should watch Syriana, same crew.
Saw Moneyball last night with some buddys (wasn't my choice)
6/10
Was way too long in my opinion, and I don't really care for baseball in the first place.
The theater was packed with people wearing Oakland A's clothing/hats. (I live in Bay Area)
Good point, actually.
Battle Royale deserves like a 3-4/10, I dunno what I was thinking when I gave it a 6.
Wrong.
I Saw The Devil is as banal and hackneyed as it gets.
Like, say, The Matrix, it ain't a movie of its own as much as it is a compilation of scenes from other, better movies, and it brings nothing new to the table other than loads of gore.
As I said, it's predictable, repetitive, and the characters are are cardboard cutouts.
Wrong again.
Good grief, you really oughta stop being wrong.
dude you just said the Matrix sucks
get outta here
I've rated a decent amount of films in this thread highly.

Wasn't it a trilogy too?
Hey RainstormChurch, I found just the right movie for you

The Tunnel
6/10
Pretty much Aussie [rec].
Drive
8/10
Wouldn't have seen it had you guys not recommended it, very enjoyable watch. Don't think you're going into a nonstop action film though. If you can deal with a bit of a slow paced movie, you're set.
Only complaint was that the scenes [sp]where he's hanging out with the girl neighbor and her son[/sp] were really cheesy and out of place.
finished watching my Dinner with Andre, definite 9/10 though obviously not going to be everyone's cup o tea. If you want to feel all intellectual and stuff, definitely give it a watch

POV shaky cam, like cloverfield, blair witch, Grave Encounters, etc
Plot wise i see nothing to do with REC
But i give The Tunnel a 7/10, was pretty interesting, altough i think it would be more interesting if they showed more backstory to the monster

It had some REALLY creepy moments, such as when the Nat first listened to the recording from Tangles' mic, and when we see the monster snapping the guards neck in the water.
poor nat
Just finished Season 3 of Lost, I know it's not a movie but I kinda want to talk about it a bit.
It was great, not nearly as good as Season 2 (still my favorite so far, it opened so many new stories and tied up a few too), Season 3 was fairly good. It's kinda getting to the "what the fuck is going on" stage now, just hope the next 3 seasons are just as good - even though I'm told they're the worst.

really enjoyed the visual style of it, the concept at first was sort of strange but i everything about the way it was presented was fantastic. very strange ideas.

Super Mario Bros. 1,000,000,000,000,000,000/10
The Tunnel (2011) - 6/10. Maan that was lame.
Is beetlejuice any good?
Does it have a solid story like Sleepy Hollow?
Or is it just another of Tim Burtons weird ass movies only filled with dark humor?
It's a classic in my eyes.
