Saw A.I. last night. I liked it.. the concept was well thought out, but again Spielberg didn't quite HIT THE NAIL on its head with it. That being said, it's a nice movie, an outlandish one in his catalogue but very well made. 7.5/10
great movie, but i didn't like the ending with the aliens
I actually thought the first part was a bit dim.

Green Lantern. What a disappointment. 6-7/10
Holes - 8.5 Great movie that pieces well together as it advances, and stays true to the book.
I'm about to start watching HORSE the band's earth tour. may god give me strength
Transformers 3 6/10 Way too many holes in the story. I found it hard to be enjoyable because of it. Also, 90% of the explosions were either *9 flares with smoke trails* or *9 flares with sparkle trails* Look for yourself, every explosion is like that. The only good part was the battles with Shockwave. The rest felt just as stale and boring as the previous 2. Last but not least [sp]If you get outsmarted by humans and a handful of autobots 3 times in a row. It is about time you destroy the planet from orbit with your super-tech weapons, but instead you charge with swords and shields. And that is like 1 out of 1000 story holes in this movie[/sp] Don't watch this expecting anything other than 2 hours of special effects.
Horrible Bosses 9/10
ink 5/5 really enjoyed the visual style of it, the concept at first was sort of strange but i everything about the way it was presented was fantastic. very strange ideas.
I just watched it, I loved almost everything about except the fucking stock After Effects lens flares that pop up a lot, in fact most of the visual effects (except the succubi face screen effect) pretty much suck, which is a shame. so I give it a 8/10
Eraserhead... All I have to say is.. woah.. that's some crazy stuff. I compare watching this movie to listening to a noise music album. It doesn't quite make sense, but it challenges your senses, makes you feel weird inside and has a stark loudness to it. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're the kind of person who is curious about this kind of thing. I'll rate it 8/10 but the experience was great.
A Bittersweet Life 9/10 For some reason, I really enjoyed this film. It shows how the crime life can really screw you over for just having feelings or wanting something more with life, and keeps me engaged with the main character's thoughts the whole time. He gets thrust into this situation just for having a bit of compassion and has to fight his way out, while the whole time seeming extremely vulnerable. It's just an exciting film to watch and a great ride. Also this film further made me see that Lee Byung-Hun is a great actor. I Come With the Rain 7/10 This is the most mixed feelings I've ever had for a film while watching this. Josh Hartnett and Lee Byung-Hun both had very solid acting but some of the acting was pure shit, namely this korean slut girl. Various times throughout the movie I'd be thinking "holy shit this sucks" yet then at other times it sorta redeemed itself and I was like "it's actually an ok film". It obviously tries to have heavy religious undertones which I know it's trying to use to send a message. Though the message seems a little too vague to really have a defined meaning, which is sometimes okay when a film leaves things up to your own interpretation. Overall, it had some parts that I really enjoyed and some parts that were just shitty but if the film went in a couple different directions it would've been fantastic.
dude you just said the Matrix sucks get outta here [editline]25th September 2011[/editline] youre the most pretentious 'film lover' ever who cant enjoy anything unless its ultra artsy
Good grief, are you boring. You oughta watch Blue Velvet and Mullholland Drive if you haven't already.
Hey RainstormChurch, I found just the right movie for you
For some reason I thought it was going to be Spider-Man in the mirror.
Murder in the First - 8/10 Sad movie was sad I shed a tear in the end, such a friendly movie.
Good grief, are you boring. And wrong. David Lynch is God. I can't believe George Lucas really considered him for Return of the Jedi.

And Return of the Jedi by David Lynch would probably rule.
It would have made no sense and would have sucked. face it, David Lynch has made a couple good movies, the rest is mostly shit that makes no sense even to David Lynch. also Ginger Snaps was fucking awful what the hell are you on?
So glad I took a film class, would have never watched these movies. Citizen Kane: 8.5/10 The Aviator: 9/10
It would have made no sense and would have sucked. face it, David Lynch has made a couple good movies, the rest is mostly shit that makes no sense even to David Lynch.
Dune sucked. Everything else Lynch has ever made ranges from good at worst(Wild At Heart, Lost Highway) to genuinely fantastic at best(Blue Velvet, Mullholland Drive). Which movies of his made no sense? Eraserhead, alright, I'll give you that(even though it really wasn't that hard to understand, it was basically a story of a single father and his struggles with everyday life). Mullholland went full-on insane(which kinda makes sense seeing as how it's a movie about [sp]a woman unable to cope with reality slowly descending into insanity and living in a fantasy world[/sp]) only in the final twenty minutes, everything prior to that was fairly easy to follow. I've yet to watch Inland Empire, which is supposedly his most insane flick. Everything other than the aforementioned movies might be weird and disturbing, but makes perfect sense and is laid out in a fairly linear, understandable fashion.
also Ginger Snaps was fucking awful what the hell are you on?
Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. It's a brilliant fucking movie. It's original, intelligent, funny, well-acted, well-shot, well-written, moving and memorable. You are wrong.
I actually liked Inland Empire, mostly as an experience. [editline]27th September 2011[/editline] also I've never seen Ginger Snaps.
Decided I wanted to watch The Lion King again. I remember this being sad when I was a kid, but it fucking destroyed me as an adult One of the best movies of all time.
Ginger Snaps is okay. Nothing special.

Up (for the first time) 10/10 I fucking tore up when [sp]Carl goes through Ellie's Adventure Book and he's looking at all the old pictures and he finds her note to him[/sp] And the overall movie gave me a warm feeling inside. A movie hasn't made me cry in a long time.
David Lynch is God. You oughta watch Blue Velvet and Mullholland Drive if you haven't already.
Watched The Elephant Man, it's superb. 9/10 Had tons of heart. I can't believe George Lucas really considered him for Return of the Jedi.
Yeah but consider Blade Runner not having the final cut or director's cut of. We'd all think Ridley Scott was shit.
Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. It's a brilliant fucking movie. It's original, intelligent, funny, well-acted, well-shot, well-written, moving and memorable. You are wrong.
Don't go the rusty route please.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 8/10, very emotional ending. Also surreal seeing a few well known actors so young.
Don't go the rusty route please.
I have a much broader taste than him, don't worry [editline]28th September 2011[/editline] He's already a lot worse than me
