Blue Velvet is fucking BEAUTIFUL. wonderful combination of disturbing, hilarious, sad, scary, and very heartfelt.
Although the combination is nice, it didn't help with flow.
Something like "Babel" which takes an emotional scene then CUTS into a different thing altogether seems like "destroying the flow", but it's a lot different.
Avatar - Extended Cut - 8/10...
Honestly, it's not as bad as I remember and the new opening sequence makes it so much better.
Some really spotty dialog and an over-used plot aside, it's extremely entertaining and well crafted.
Hell, it's probably the best retelling of the Pocahontas story I've seen yet.
Dude, her favorite director is Stanley Kubrick.
She saw "The Shining when she was 6 or 7. She stole the VHS from under my bed and watched it in her room.
I was a little more than shocked when she said that not only did she watch it, she loved it.
Her favorite scene was the maze chase scene, apparently.
When your sister turns 18, can I meet her?
so i saw Drive today, and i'll go ahead give it a 8/10, it was kind of slow but it was great, the pace, the colors, the sound effects the music, i felt like i was in the 80's.
Apollo 18 4/10
Bit to boring for me and not a original concept.

I must watch that...
People say it's very stylistic and an awesome experience.
World's Greatest Dad - 9/10

Going to see it next week since it's been rereleased in theaters here.
The only David Lynch film I've ever seen was "The Elephant Man".
It was alright, I guess. I expected more.
the elephant man was amazing, I was in tears by the end

Hmm, it's a pretty good movie, but I don't think I can rate it.
50/50
7 or 8/10. I was surprised how much I liked it, honestly.
The last movie I watched was (randomly, I must say) Mike Bassett - England Manager. It's a satirical "documentary" about football (soccer) and the challenges presented to the manager of an international team.
I personally rate this film 6 / 10. It's not all-around fantastic, but there are bits which shine.

It's like a grander Goodfellas.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil (9/10)
I didn't know much about it, but I loved the hell out of it.
fuck my spelling
I highly disagree. Goodfellas was a perfect film in every sense of the word.
But I still respect your opinion.
No I like Goodfellas a lot more. what I was trying to say was that it's Goodfellas on a larger scale. It's longer with more lavish sets and even more narration. Although it does feel overstuffed which is why I like Goodfellas more.
Just saw Cowboys and Aliens, wasn't too bad. In fact, it wasn't bad at all. I give it an 8/10
I finally got around to watching the Big Lebowski
FUCKING A
10/10 Easy
Transformers 3
I watched it in the theaters in 3D and it sucked horribly. I thought it was just the 3D that made it a bad experience for me. Wrong.
5/10

Awesome movie.. it's kind of a sequel to Goodfellas in a respect.

Yes, you say the right things.

now to be a true dudeist, you have to watch it again and again until you can recite every line from memory.
Can't really judge people for not liking Big Lebowski. Humour can be weird to judge sometimes.
Some people think if they don't "Laugh Out Loud" that the whole movie is bad.
Bridesmaids
9/10
Still one the funniest movies of the year.
Transformers 3

A 5 is awfully generous.
Drive - 8.5/10...
Just might be the best movie I've seen this year... and that soundtrack god damn.
A serbian film
4/10
Crappy film, gave me a boner and then her head got cut off and I still had a boner and it made me feel strange.
