Apollo 13 - 9/10 Awesome spacey film.
Hom Tanks is so awesome.
Hom Tanks is so awesome.
Tam Honks is always awesome.
A 5 is awfully generous. Drive - 8.5/10... Just might be the best movie I've seen this year... and that soundtrack god damn.
Awesome soundtrack indeed, one of the guys from Daft punk is in it too! I saw Melancholia today, 9/10 <3 loved it, so fucking sad
Johnny English:Reborn 7/10 Average Got some funny moments here and there
Man on Fire I really liked this movie, even though I only saw the second half of it. It's always nice to see the bad guys get what's coming to them, and the ending was pretty touching. The movie kept my attention, and even though it was an action movie, it still had its emotional moments and didn't feel like one of those big budget movies that have a shit plot and flashy effects.
Loved the track at the end.
Submarine 7/10 Not that funny, but still interesting and great directing from Richard Ayoade
The assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford 9/10 I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the movie.
Pirate of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - 6.5/10 Had a few interesting parts (mermaids, ship coming to life), but other than that it felt like they just threw in a bunch of different scenes. It was rather messy. No, the main plot was easy enough to follow, but there was a lot of other stuff I didn't like. The love side story between [sp]the religious guy and the mermaid[/sp] and the Spaniards who [sp]just show up at the end and trash everything[/sp]. Unfunny jokes, cheesy dialogue and so on. All in all entertaining popcorn movie, but it lacked quite a lot.
the girl who played with fire 9/10 shit had me sitting up and leaning in at certain points it was that suspenseful. it was predictable at certain points though and one thing that really bothered me was [sp]when lisbeth tazered the guy in the nuts the dude should have seized up because tazers don't primarily function on pain, it's the introduction of large amounts of electricity to the nervous system which would cause muscles to contract. the dude, despite not being able to feel pain should have collapsed and possibly passed out. and you know the tazer she uses has the output to knock people out because she's used it to knock people out before[/sp] police use tazers and and tazer guns for the same reasons, someone hopped up on pcp or another pain killing drug would be immobilized no matter what. you use a bean bag shotgun or shoot them in the gut, sure there's the factor of stopping power, they might get knocked on their ass but they'd get right back up and keep coming after you.
5/10 Meh.

12 Angry Men 10/10 Amazing
Horrible Bosses last night. Horrible/10.
Oldboy 9.5/10
5/10 Meh.
boogie nights is fantastic
a serbian film 9/10 i was laughing the whole way through. dunno what it was, could have been a lot of things. probably the surreal tone. hard to describe, i just couldn't take it serious, especially after the whole "turn" when the dude wakes up. it was really over done but at the end when he said "start with the little one" i burst out laughing and the skull fucking scene, that was golden. [editline]1st October 2011[/editline] oh yeah and the soundtrack was awesome
50/50 - 10 out of 10 One of best movies I've seen this year.
Drive, 9/10 One of my new favourite films
I just watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. One of the most depressing movies I have ever seen but still happy in some parts. I am still in tears after the ending. This movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen. 10/10.
5/10 Meh.
Want to say a bit more to save face? I talked a lot about Blue Velvet, but you can't say a word about much else?
boogie nights is fantastic
Please don't start an argument with Rainstorm, it'll go on for like 15 pages.
Four Lions 8/10 Really funny, at least I think it is. Especially the sheep bit. Why the fuck isnt that movie so controversial?
Why the fuck isnt that movie so controversial?
It was. But because it's harmless, it's not racist or offensive.
Want to say a bit more to save face? I talked a lot about Blue Velvet, but you can't say a word about much else?
He's just jealous because he will never have a porn star name as awesome as Dirk Diggler.
Bee Movie 8/10 Titan A.E 7/10
Look at what this fucker said about Predator on an italian forum:
Tonight I watched Predators, starring Adrien Brody's nose. I start by saying that i managed to watch the original until the fortieth minute, roughly, then I did not continue, I wonder how it managed to become a cult. This remake seemed better, but still very mediocre.
i disagreed and laughed the fuck out of him.
boogie nights is fantastic
It ain't a bad movie, mind you. It's just a movie that left absolutely no impression on me. I didn't love it and I didn't hate it, the credits rolled and I thought "Meh" and that was it.
Want to say a bit more to save face? I talked a lot about Blue Velvet, but you can't say a word about much else?
"Meh" was the best way to put it. If I tried to find a genuine flaw with Boogie Nights, I couldn't. It's just that it didn't make me care, and that's, I think, the worst thing a movie can(or cannot) do.
Please don't start an argument with Rainstorm, it'll go on for like 15 pages.
I'm not even willing to get into an argument over Boogie Nights, that's how nonexistant of an impression it left on me.
"Meh" was the best way to put it. If I tried to find a genuine flaw with Boogie Nights, I couldn't. I just that it didn't make me care, and that's, I think, the worst thing a movie can(or cannot) do.
I don't get it. The main character in Blue Velvet was pretty much a sick bastard. How can you fool your highschool sweetheart that she's the one while screwing some weirdo on the side. Don't forget the violent sex.
