the thing that ruined that movie for me the most was jar jar binks and the gungans
nit-picking. Plus it was hardly a mature movie.
Spirited Away - 10/10 I'm not quite sure how to explain how I felt about that movie, but anybody who hasn't seen it I would extremely highly recommend it.
There were a couple cheesy parts, but it makes up for it. The English dub isn't as good as the original japanese version. The voices just don't seem to fit; especially Chihiro's.
Best way to watch it is just watching the Japanese version with subs, originals are usually better than dubs.
into the wild 10/10
Apocalypse Now: Redux. Well, the first hour of it, I'm breaking it into 3 1-hour blocks because i'm lazy and i feel it'd make it more enticing and easier to digest. 10/10/10/10. Wonderful so far.

Trainspotting 7.8/10
The Thing(2011) - 1/10 Fuck, that was horrible. Seriously, the film is possibly even worse than I expected. Any element that made the 82 version good is not in this film, it's awful in almost every aspect. There was only once scene I thought was good, and that scene was about 3 seconds long. Of all the reviews that are out, the aintitcool one is the one I can identify with the most. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/51589
8 mile 7/10
Fast Five - 7/10 It was pretty good. But not enought actual street racing in my opinion compared to the other fast and furious movies. Sure, it had that one scene where they were racing to get all the cars, but other than that, not much street racing. The ending where [sp]they were dragging the safe with the two cars was really cool though[/sp]

Sunshine 9/10 Third time watching it, I think. They should've chosen a better credits song.
It's like 2001, but without the science fiction, and instead you get drugs, (a lot of) sex, and out-of-body experiences. Also, the fucking opening title sequence is surely enough to give anyone a seizure, regardless of epilepsy. To be perfectly honest, I can't rate this. It's not so much as a film, as it is more of a thought-provoking experience. Also, the dialogue is minimal, yet key, so either watch it with subtitles or raise the volume a lot.
I love the opening credits. But the rest of the file is a pile of shit, a really bad 2001 that feels more like a bad drug trip.
Eragon (2006) terrible 2/10 I Am Number Four (2011) utterly terrible 1/10 Funky Forest: The First Contact (2005) like a japanese monthy python. very "what the hell" and very funny. watch it. 10/10

It was the closest I ever came to shitting myself while watching a movie. many references to be made from that movie
The Ghost Writer (2010) Very good. Well thought out plot and very believable. Great twists and turns. 8/10
Best way to watch it is just watching the Japanese version with subs, originals are usually better than dubs.
Eh, I prefer to watch without subtitles, plus the Japanese voices annoy me usually. Gonna watch My Neighbour Totoro tonight and Ponyo next weekend possibly, I like me some Studio Ghibli I do.

I'm used to it, and don't mind at all. The original VA's are (usually) better than most dubbed versions, so I get the most enjoyable sounds while still knowing what the fuck is going on.
Moon 10/10 loved it! fantastic movie with great visuals
Tucker and Dale VS Evil 8/10 Really good for a comedy. I loved that chainsaw scene :v:
Apocalypto. 9/10 Holy shit, really good movie since history and the like is interesting as hell to me. [sp]That scene where the Spanish boats appear gave me the chills. Was not expecting that at all.[/sp]
Drive 9/10 Damn, this movie really impressed me. It was so much better than I had first expected it to be. This movie has it all, excellent actors, a soundtrack that will make your ears jizz gold, sound and video effects that'll blow your mind and ofcourse, a really good story. The scenes in this movie will really pump your blood with enough adrenaline to last a lifetime. I especially like the emotionless exression on Ryan's face throughout the movie, it instantly made him both an interesting and "powerful" protagonist. If you plan on watching a new movie, go watch this one. It's so good you'll feel like you've ripped the directors off when you paid so little to watch it. I really wanna watch it again now.
Let Me In - 7.0 The final scene just made the whole movie, holy shit.
The Last Airbender - 0.5/10 Wow, what a piece of shit. There goes 100 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
The Lion King 8/10 My experience watching it 5/10 The ONLY thing on the planet that gets me angry is people who talk during films. Behind me was a 14 year old girl describing the next scene BEFORE IT HAPPENED. This was my first time watching it too, and the first time for many children there.
Equilibrium (2002) Good characters and plot, radical choreography, and Christian Bale. 8.5/10
