an interesting list i don't agree with most of it
That's why it's an opinion.
Alien - 9/10. Why did she take the cat?
Alien - 9/10. Why did she take the cat?
It's the only thing she gave a shit about. Put it that way.
Drive - 6.5/10 Could be better but I still enjoyed it. Music didn't really fit into some of the scenes.
Drive - 6.5/10 Could be better but I still enjoyed it. Music didn't really fit into some of the scenes.
so so so so wrong the wrongest of all time
It's the only thing she gave a shit about. Put it that way.
I'd have been more concerned about one of those spidery things being in it. :v: Good film nonetheless, I just thought it was weird especially after her being so uptight about quarantining earlier in the movie.
I'd have been more concerned about one of those spidery things being in it. :v:
:v: Now watch Aliens, you may like it more or less depending on if you're the action type.
I wish I could watch that movie for the first time again :( If only I could forget movies, so I could watch them over and over again.
Same. I remember when I showed Jurassic Park to a friend of mine, who had never seen it before, and he had no idea just how jealous I was of him :v:
Drive - 6.5/10 Could be better but I still enjoyed it. Music didn't really fit into some of the scenes.
The music fit into all of the scenes. all of them I tell you!
The music fit into all of the scenes. all of them I tell you!
I hear the soundtrack is somewhat psychedelic, therefore it might not be to his taste.
It's not psychedelic, it's just very fitting. So his taste is wrong.
It's not psychedelic, it's just very fitting. So his taste is wrong.
Well the description is that it's "ethereal" music, so it would be psych. Kind of like this maybe? (I haven't seen the movie)
the breakfast club: 8/10 the only John Hughes film I've ever seen, it was enjoyable for what it was and I can see why it's culturally important. Bender seemed a bit tame for a 'burnout' but I guess that's because of the time it was made

Captain America the first Avenger 7.5/10 avarage super hero movie, but i loved the style.
Super Troopers 8/10 (User was banned for this post ("Image macro again" - Orkel))
The ending to that movie was just perfect. Simple minds really aced that song.
it was really great, I think my mind has just been spoilt by modern film and television's much darker bad boys, Bender was probably quite a badass when it was made, but the fact he goes around wearing those silly gloves all day made me feel like he was a silly character more than a badass one
Drive 7.5/10 Wanna toothpick?
The Cat Returns - 8/10 Not as good as the other Ghibli films I've seen so far but still pretty awesome, and the baron is exceedingly badass.
Winter's Bone 8/10
Burn After Reading ***1/2 In the same way The Big Lebowski is a non-mystery film-noir, this is a non-spy thriller.
Should I watch Planet of the Apes (2001)?
No, it's pretty awful.
i'm using 128K internet guys!
True grit 9/10 Loved it! No country for old men Very good film but didn't enjoy it as much as true grit. Probably cause I didn't think that much of the story, didn't really like the book either. Also the acting overall wasn't great apart from the amazing Javier Bardem. Still, everything else about it made me have to respect it as a very well made book to film adaptation. So giving a rating is kinda hard but I'll got with 8/10
A Beautiful Mind - 9/10.
To Live & Die in L.A. 7.5/10 A pretty good film.
okay, I'll watch the final Potter movie in both parts as it was intended. I watched M last night, true greatness. 4/4
How to train your dragon 8/10 Most things very incredibly predictable, but it was still fun
Aliens 9/10 Enjoyed this in a completely different way than I enjoyed Alien. A lot more action, but it was really well done, especially the effects, considering it's age. Forrest Gump 9.5/10 Probably one of my top 5 films, it never gets old and has one of the best stories I've seen in a film.
