I'm a mushroom-cloud laying motherfucker, motherfucker.
Captain America. 2/10.
One of the worst films I've ever seen in my entire life. Poor plotline, poor story progression, but worst of all the actress who pretends to be "British" puts on the worst accent I've heard in my life.
Huge disappointment, I do not recommend it.
Does NOT do the comics justice.
The Tree of Life
Hollywood, I am pleasantly surprised.
8/10

It is good.
Super 8
A well deserved 8/10
A very watchable movie, I thought at first it'd be really similar to E.T, but I was pleasantly surprised when it didn't. Some parts disappointed me, but overall it was a good movie. The effects were great aswell.
J.J Abrams always gets the best CGI team.
Pulp Fiction is overrated as hell. I know, it's a good movie, but to me, that's all it is. I've seen it 4 times now and even though it keeps it's entertainment value, it's nothing about an 8.5/10 for me. It's nowhere near the "best movie ever made" or even "best movie of the 90s" in my opinion.
Why are you complaining about a movie you have rated 8.5/10?
That's what I want to know.
Hot Fuzz
9/10
Love Nick Frost and Simon Pegg.
It not the best movie of all time, but still a damn a good one.
Just watched The Meaning of Life, it was brilliant. 9.5/10
Attack the Block
7.7/10
Decent alien invasion movie with a nice soundtrack. Felt a bit preachy at times though
What did you think of Return of the King, dude?
Loved it, although for the last 10 minutes I was just kinda waiting it to end :v:
Alone in the Dark.
I'm not even gonna grade it, it's an utter waste of time. Yeah, Meet the Spartans sucked but it did give me a chuckle at times. Yeah, The Room is one of the worst movies ever made but you can't help but laugh at the stupidity of it all.
But I swear to god, you could watch paint dry for 90 minutes and you'll have spent your time just as well as you would have by watching Alone in the Dark and I hope it's proud of itself because it's the first movie I say this about.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; 9/10
Great movie, loved the random and chaotic elements of the story piecing together in such a perfect way. Probably not as good as Snatch but still an awesome movie.
silmido 9/10
really a great fucking movie, i highly recommend it
It's more or less of how everyone thinks it's the best movie of all time. Kind of like The Godfather for me.
Yeah but don't beat yourself up about it. It's just a case that "a lot of people like it".
It doesn't mean it HAS to be in everyone's top 5. Different personalities for different folks.
If you still enjoy them, but don't think a lot of them personally then what's there to complain about? :>
Hot Fuzz

They better bring on that third movie soon.

Yeah I liked it a lot, surprised a lot by it.

The Last Temptation of Christ
9/10
Even though I'm not religious, the story here is pretty awesome.
Absolutely stunning soundtrack, and as for the movie it is a great experience.
Although an odd one out in Martin Scorcese's catalogue, it's kind of like an "Apocalypse Now" moment for him. One of his best.
Watched two movies in a row so here we go :
X-Men : First Class - 7/10
Good movie. Definitely better than the previous movie adaptation of the movie franchise, yet not at an incredible level. Still a good entertainment though.
Black Swan - 9/10
Excellent movie. Had a hard time watching it because it was with the rest of my family, and they have a very slight tendency to laugh or comment absolutely everything at the screen - it might not be a problem with an action flick like X-Men, but in a deep psychological story involving a lot of details and required attention, it IS a problem. The shaky cam also was an obstacle and is really the only thing that keeps this movie from a perfect score to me.
I may be late on this one, but I just watched V for Vendetta.
I'll give it a 9/10 because it was a great film, if a little too colourful of a storyline.
Paranormal Activity 3
7.5/10, seeing the first two probably made this one seem less scary for me, still had some jump moments, laughed whenever the other people screamed, I found it to be enjoyable overall.
Re-watched Inception
9/10
A great movie, but the notable plot holes kind of hurt it.

There were many, but which ones are you talking about?
Shaun of the Dead - 10/10
It definitely deserved the praise it received.
okay will watch Paths of Glory and Grave of the Fireflies.
They can't be THAT much of a tearjerker.. come on.
King Kong(2005) - 6.5/10...
Haven't watch this in a few years and figured I'd give it another go.
Good God, most overrated and overhyped movie of 2005.
Overlong, awful dialogue, two dimensional characters, and the first hour of the movie has literally nothing of any real interest happening.
But, the effects for the most part were definitely worth writing home about and I felt some sympathy for Kong himself in the end.

Pff, everyone knows the greatest movie of the 90s is Muppet Treasure Island. But PF and RD are right behind it.
Loved it, although for the last 10 minutes I was just kinda waiting it to end :v:
I was only waiting for it to end because my friend and I were holding in our piss for the last half hour just so we didn't miss anything.
Margin Call
8/10
The 1969 True Grit
9/10
Now just to watch the new one tommorow.
