Bad Teacher. 5/10.
that bad?
It just seemed a bit boring. Their are some action things, and the monologue can get pretty intense, but for the most part the main story seemed kind of dry to me.
it contained was very boring people talking non stop.
You bore me.
I don't mean to be a dick, but why would you be stupid enough to go see that? The trailer already shows you how laughingly horrible it is.
well if you didn't mean to be a dick you could have easily formed the same sentence without calling him stupid. you dick
I watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and it was truly god awful, half an hour in I felt like my brain was slowly melting, then near the end I swear by all that is holy I nearly had a brain hemorrhage. All that it contained was very boring people talking non stop. Throw is some action scenes and a half interesting plot, and you might nearly have a half decent movie. 1.5/10
I don't think you were the target audience, but I appreciate you have an opinion
Social Network 8/10 surprisingly good.
Grave of the Fireflies 8/10 A very good movie.
Watched The Hurt Locker for the first time, a nice solid war movie, I liked the angle on the bomb squad, which made a change to the standard "l33t soldiers winning the whole war" of most war movies. 8.5/10
Johnny english:reborn - 9/10 Could not stop laughing. One little niggle: They didn't explain why toshiba took over MI7 (unless that was explained in the first one, which I have very vague memories of)
Everyone else said it was shit?
it had it's moments
it had it's moments
Rowan Atkinson is Mr Bean and Mr Bean only.
Of Mice and Men. I don't know why I watched it actually. But I didn't expect the ending. Oh John Steinbeck. But I thought it was good. Perhaps a 7 or 8 out of 10.
dr. no 10/10 fucking classic, seriously probably one of the best. sean connery is fuckin sex, so is ursla whatever her last name is.
It is one of the best, but no better than Goldfinger, that was a masterpiece. [editline]28th October 2011[/editline] Jarhead 7.5/10 I liked it a lot, plenty of it is inspired in one way or another. The end song by Tom Waits was very well fitting. Second movie I've seen with Jake Gylanhall. Good actor.
shit tom waits did the credits song for that one? [editline]28th October 2011[/editline] shit, saw this and it really fit so yeah i saw jarhead in theatres, on the big screen with the billion gigawatt soundsystem it's a 9/10 for me [editline]28th October 2011[/editline] artificial intelligence i can't really give this one a rating. jude law is awesome though, so is the teddy bear. it struck a deep chord within me, my appearance as a child being quite like haley joel osmond in a way probably helped. i'm not completely positive why. i have an idea though, something about my childhood lacking innocence. maybe that i feel more like a machine than a person from incredibly dulled emotions and almost complete conscious detachment from reality. like when three tears came down across my face after the teddy bear pulled out the lock of hair i didn't feel anything, my face didn't squeeze up either. i just sat there with an ever constant thousand yard stare. it's funny how when something tries to drive a point across so much so that it becomes insanely cheesy, someone out there can pull something entirely different away from it. kind of a testament to the whole "death of the author" thing if i may say so myself. [editline]28th October 2011[/editline] and another speilburg movie, minority report. 10/10 when i first watched it in theatres i was to young to appreciate the visual tone or anything about it really. then i saw it again nearly a decade later and found it incredibly boring because of the ending. then i saw this wikipedia article after looking up the game (which is awesome, fuck the critics): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minority_Report_%28film%29#Ending and then i rewatched it. now it's up there with enter the void on my list, and i'd suck gaspar noe's cock for that one. wouldn't suck speilburg's though, kinda hate the guy for a lot of reasons.
shit tom waits did the credits song for that one?
No he did the last song for the last seen. It's pretty moving.
guess i'm watching jarhead next like right now. if it's on netflix instant. [editline]28th October 2011[/editline] FUCK YEAH it's on netflix instant. [editline]28th October 2011[/editline] hope there are subtitles. anyone else love watching movies with subtitles? it makes it so much easier to watch for me.
Sometimes I love subtitles, other times it's easier to just "try and hear" what they're saying all the time because real life doesn't have subtitles.
i got some kind of brain fuckup so i hear things differently sometimes. plus those real quiet scenes piss me off cause i have to turn up the volume just to hear them whispering to each other and then BOOOOOOM or some shit like that
A Beautiful Mind (2001) It was okay. Something about the dramaturgy/pacing felt off, like it does in most films based on true stories. I really loved the soundtrack though. 7.5/10
Fight Club - 10/10 Such a good movie. Excellent dialogue too.
Worlds Greatest Dad 8/10 the ending was great, also had its sad parts
Well, guys, what should I watch tonight?
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn - 8.8 Not as good as the original and there was a lot of changes I didn't like, still a good movie and worth watching though. The 3D effects weren't really that necessary, there was some good use of it but it was mostly not noticeable. [editline]b[/editline] Oh and I wanted to kill that kid next to me who had probably seen the trailer a million times and was practically shouting before something was going to happen that it was going to happen.
Well, guys, what should I watch tonight?
Pretty please, I would love some recommendations.
Hanna (2011) - 7/10 The music was cool but the story could have been a lot better.
